I have a sharpening stone & carbon tool yet my knives still aren't sharp. Bill complemented my Henkel's knives. He showed me how the blades were a little shiny because they needed a good sharpening. He worked very quickly in his huge machine with water, I never saw anything like it. My knives were restored to new so quickly. There was free parking out front and seats inside where I sat and watched him. Bill answered all of my questions, he can clean up serrated knives, but doesn't have the tool to restore them.

I can tell she enjoys her career. While I was there, someone came in asking a question. She called the owner and he answered right away. I can tell that this company offers great customer service. While I was waiting, I remembered I needed a spare key to a lock box. She was honest in telling me that she didn't have the exact key but that she would try to duplicate it. We popped into this True Value…read morehardware store a block or two off of Federal Highway to pick up some household bits (probably made in China, but let's not focus on that!). Very narrow aisles, but they are densely packed with all the tools, bits, bobs, paint, mailboxes, and other stuff you need for your home and your office and anything else where you might want to hit a hammer into a nail. The staff is friendly and very knowledgable. As I mentioned, it's a small shop. Only 8000 square feet, which is dwarfed by the much larger and higher shelved) Home Depot that is usually around 100,000 square feet. But don't let that put you off. These folks know their stuff!

If you have a question, someone there probably has an answer and unlike Home Depot or Lowe's it is more than likely a correct answer. Both are small, serious hardware stores without the added carpet, appliance or other such non traditional hardware items which for me has always added up to quicker, easier more convenient as well as successful hardware shopping.
