I've taken three cars here. They always do a great job. They get the work done. They're right on the money at the price they quote me for the repair and my daughter's beetle had a strange brake problem. They diagnosed it got it fixed. It was great because somebody had put the brakes on, but created an air leak in brake fluid pump/ the valve so there's no way I would've been able to find that they diagnosed it found it got repaired. Her brakes are fine now and they do a great job. They fixed my son's car. It had a coolant leak. One of the hoses came back off. They came towed his car back to the repair shop for free and fixed it and did not charge me anything else to get it done most places wouldn't have done that Cox repair service and Towing. These guys are very good. They do good work and they're good people. You can't expect something for nothing and you also need to be patient and let somebody work on your car. If you can't do it yourself these guys do a great job. They have a lot of experience. They know what they're doing. read more

Buncha thieves. I took my car in, told them what I knew was wrong with it and asked them to diagnose and give me a quote. They told me exactly what I told them was wrong and then charged me $150 to hook up the exact same sensor that Advanced did. These cheap repair men then quoted me a price FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS above standard cost for the job to REPLACE A SPARK PLUG. $800 dollars. Please tell me what world we live in to where that cost $800. To add, these careless employees then left my interior light on, effectively killing the battery when I went to go pick it up. DO NOT USE THESE THEIVES. They get by doing good work seldomly, and often ripping off regular joes. read more

They came out in the middle of the night to help us get up and running again. They were referred to us by friend who had their car tow to their shop and fixed. Also they had A/C charged up and now get all 3 of their cars serviced by them. I am blessed that they were referred to is it feels like family....Thank you Jay and Lloyd for taking care of us. We took my sons car in for AC repair. The car was expected to be in the shop for 2-3 days with an expected bill of $800.00. It was ready the same day for $105 less than quoted and they did a few extras like bolting in the radiator and adding a pin to the key /key fob. On Thanksgiving Eve 2018 we were exactly halfway through our 6 hour drive to my parents' house when I hit something on I-95, taking out BOTH drivers' side tires. Being the night before Thanksgiving and needing more than just my spare tire to continue on, we quickly called AAA to see what our options were - the answer, no great options. There would be no tires available until Friday at the earliest, and the only outfit they could send capable of both towing and storing my car was 50 miles in the wrong direction, and would cost over $300 dollars for towing alone. After 2.5 hours on the side of the interstate, we were nearly resigned to that as our fate when a friend of my brother's put us in touch with Jay at Cox Repair - Jay came and collected us off of 95 and dropped us at a local hotel (even helped us get our luggage inside). He then did everything he could to find us tires the next morning (Thanksgiving). When that was unsuccessful, he kept my car over Thanksgiving weekend, tracked down the tires I needed in Raleigh, drove there and back to get them, and had them put on my car - all of this allowed me to get home to my family for the holiday, and know that my car was in good hands and would be ready for me to pick back up at the end of the weekend. We were on a trip from mass to Florida and our car decided to quit starting at the gas pump :( we decided to call a towing company and have the car towed to a local shop to have them look at it - we decided to call cox - when I spoke with the gentleman on the phone he told me there was no way somebody could look at the car today as it was already 4 pm and everyone was pretty much ready to go home - so my fiancé and I decided we would have no choice but to stay the night at a hotel which would make me a day late to work and cause us to spend more money ect...when we got to the shop via the tow truck driver who was excellent by the way one of the nicest guys I've met - to our surprise they took the car right in the garage and started trying to figure it out for us - these guys were great - they were able to fix the car and get us back on the road - I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone that ever needs work done and if we ever break down again I only hope I am near this service center - thanks guys you were great !!
