Ordered the Cauliflower appetizer and the Thai Red Curry Bowl. Both the dishes were flavorful and delicious with the right amount of spices. Enjoyed these vegetarian dishes. Good ambience and the service was prompt.

A good option for the limited restaurant availability during the summer here in Waterville Valley. Seems sort of odd having a restaurant above the town athletic club... You have to walk through that to get to the restaurant on the second floor. Overall, they do a good job of creating a nice environment in such a setting. The food Was good, if the rib appetizer being a little bit dry but good flavor. My wife liked the steak tips, which also had good flavor.

This place is pretty much always excellent - the only decent restaurant on the Valley. Lovely bar and great specials. Good drinks and beer variety. I visit here every time I'm in Waterville Valley.

Wow! If I could give them 10 stars I would! My fiancé and I were planning on getting married in April and needed a place to hold our reception for our small wedding. The General Manager, Nathan Peterson, was BEYOND amazing and accommodating! He gave us a huge list of options for us to choose from and we couldn't have been more excited for our big day. Then COVID-19 happened! We had to reschedule multiple times and pray! Nathan was incredible and continued to work with us and keep us informed. As the weeks and days got closer, we knew that him and the entire staff, would do everything they could to help us out and make our day perfect. They did NOT let us down! The food was AMAZING! I'm finally getting to talk to my family after our wedding and mini honeymoon and the one thing they are raving about the most is the food! Everything was beyond delicious and the staff was even better! A trip to the Coyote Grill is a MUST when you're in the valley!

This place is what you'd expect from a golf course clubhouse. But the item I ordered, the Chicken Chop Chop is to be avoided at all costs. The photo doesn't do justice to the repellent presentation, which strongly resembled cat food. I took one bite and it was difficult to not spit it out. You've been warned.

Relaxed environment, good service and family friendly. Husband's rack of lamb was outstanding. My shrimp meal was okay. Friendly waitress.

Food was great but the bartender had a very bad attitude, extremely rude and wouldn't even answer when I tried to speak to her.

The final dinner of our vacation. Was hoping it was going to be the best meal of the trip, but…read moresadly it wasn't. It started out on a high note - the beet salad was excellent. Roasted beets, feta and walnuts over mesculin greens. It was dressed with a flavorful maple balsamic vinaigrette. My husband and I both ordered the Karen cuts of prime rib done medium. The entrees arrived well past medium, which there should be no excuse for at 5 pm. The vegetable of the day was corn on the cob, which was as you would expect, overcooked and mushy. We splurged on dessert of chocolate mousse, which was unremarkable. It wasn't our worst meal of the trip, but definitely wasn't the best either. Final note, some of the tables have these giant chairs, shown in my pictures, that are too low (I told the waitress I might need a booster seat) and too heavy to even move yourself. My husband had to get up and push my chair closer to the table. I'd rate it no higher than 3.5 and since I can't give half stars, I will give a 4 because the salad was so good. Do better with your prime rib, since it seems to be what customers brag about, though I'm not sure why.

The next table was too small for the 4 of us to eat comfortably without constantly bumping elbows. Finally, got a good seat, it was fairly warm, and room to move. The lighting was so dim, it made it difficult to read the menu. We were having to use the flashlights on our phones for lighting. The waiter seated us and then I guess he went on dinner break because we sat there for quite a bit waiting to at least order drinks. Or maybe it was just him covering the whole restaurant, I dunno, but I know we sat and waited. When he returned, we ordered drinks, and dinner as we didn't want to go through that wait again. I had never eaten at the Lobster Trap before, so I was looking forward to eating here, as being from the area, I know it's been around since I moved to the area in the early 80's. And by the looks of the place, that's the last time it went thru any kind of decor update. (I'm not being rude, just honest, but I'm sure if I'm wrong, u die hards will correct me). Sadly, I was disappointed with the whole shebang. The atmosphere, the food, the waiter, none of it made me feel like I couldn't wait to come back. I was sooooo hoping that this would be a valley jewel, "a must" to eat at again and again. For a meal that's going to cost you at least 75$ ( I don't drink alcohol) ,and a desire to take home the leftovers, you may want to skip The Lobster Trap.

They also operate the Northern BItes food truck in the North Country. This restaurant also should be a popular place for snowmobilers to stop since it is located adjacent to the snowmobile trail (a small section of the Conway Scenic Railroad) behind Northern Bites. Northern Bites offers fried seafood (haddock, fish bites, whole belly clams, shrimp, sea scallops), lobster rolls, hot dogs, chicken tenders, fried foods, nachos, chili, clam chowder, a variety of 10" pizzas, Gifford's Ice Cream, cinnamon rolls, and cookies. The prices seem fair. The dining areas have that rustic cabin atmosphere with table seating & booths, a collection of old license plates mounted on the wood walls, painted mural of winter scenery & mountains, flatscreen TVs, wooden bear statue, old snowshoes, and a Tuckerman Brewing Co snowboard. I stopped by Northern Bites recently for takeout. I ordered the Haddock Filet Platter ($19.95 plus tax) served with fries and slaw. My food order was all set in about 10 minutes, packed in a cardboard box. The platter had 2 good sized pieces of fried breaded haddock filets, golden fries with skins, a cup of shredded cole slaw, and a tartar sauce cup on the side. Before leaving, I applied some malt vinegar to the haddock and dispensed some ketchup for the fries. The fried haddock and fries were very hot and pretty good. The cole slaw had a slight sour taste, decent. I will have to stop by again to try out their pizza.

We almost couldn't hear each other across a small table. Decent wine list. They had a Prisoner Chardonnay $14 and Unshackled Cabernet Sauvignon $13. I got an Oberon Sauvignon Blanc for $10. The crab cake appetizer for $18 came with two burger-sized crab cakes, a peach salsa that was the star of the show, and a dill remoulade sauce. Enough to share. However, the texture was like moist breadcrumbs, similar to falafel, and we saw no crabmeat. It was seasoned to taste like seafood, but the crab didn't show up to the party. My husband got the Tuscan filet for $43 and said it was tender but not medium rare as he ordered. It was definitely medium. I got the seafood saffron for $32 that came with two medium sized scallops, 3-4 medium shrimp and a few small pieces of lobster. I saw a few shorts threads of saffron but the sauce was sweet! Not coconut sweet, but sugary sweet. I thought it would be sherry based like a light Newburgh sauce, but no. I'm not keen on sweet seafood. I thought a lemon or sherry based light sauce would have complimented the scallops and lobster better. Sorry Breeze kitchen staff. I have to be honest, but hopefully kind. The food was plated beautifully. You set out cloth napkins. But we can't see coming back for a long while. That was our anniversary dinner. $137.91 plus tip. Swing and a miss.
