    Bruschetta Chicken

Fall in New England means leaves changing color and Six Burner Bistro. I love how the rooms are broken up and we had a party of six originally but two cancelled last minute so the four of us tended to get a bit loud. Chef Sam seems to taken over the kitchen reigns seamlessly though so most in our party were unaware of this change. The bistro salad remains unchanged with walnuts, feta and a light maple vinaigrette dressing. The calamari appetizer was also lightly battered and tasty. My bruschetta chicken was excellent as well. The warm bread, drinks and service continue to make this venue 5 star dining in the White Mountains.

We lucked out and got a reservation at the last minute because someone canceled. Super cute place in a house converted to restaurant. We sat by a cozy fireplace. Tables were well spaced so you didn't have to listen to other people. For a starter my husband got a bowl of crab & corn chowder. It was very tasty. And a sizable serving too. I got the shrimp scampi dish which was very unusual befit was served over spinach and fontina ravioli! The ravioli and the sauce were really good but unfortunately the shrimp were over done. My husband got the veggie paella with salmon. His salmon was too done for him but paella under cooked. It didn't have those authentic crispy edges of real paella. The host (?owner) was very friendly and helpful. Our waitress was okay. Did her job but no personality. We would definitely dine here again if in the area.

Great place to enjoy top notch eats!! I always stop in here after driving up from MA to catch a show at the Flying Monkey! Very friendly staff! They always have tantalizing specials to satisfy anyone's desire! The daily menu has many dining pleasures as well....so much to choose from!

We had the crab and corn chowder, seared salmon with peace chili glaze, and their special the Harvest Bowl with tofu!

Stopped by after some fall colors chasing in October. We had the Crab and Corn Chowder, Seared Salmon with Peach Chili Glaze, and their special the Harvest Bowl with Tofu. Excellent meal with large portions! We really enjoyed everything and would highly recommend if you're in town for leaf peeping and need a place to stop by for a nice, delicious dinner!

A very generous bowl of delicious crab corn chowder.

This is a Main Street restaurant without the Main Street price. I was a single diner for the evening and they were able to seat me immediately. I ordered an amaretto sour and it was spot-on. For dinner, I ordered the crab corn chowder and the filet mignon with smashed garlic potatoes and snap peas. I also had the garlic butter sauce on top of the filet. And EVERYTHING was great. I was able to get out under $60 with a generous tip. I highly recommend Six Burner Bistro. I only took a photo of the crab corn chowder. I forgot to take one of the steak.

Have always liked this place. Don't like that they now add a 3% surcharge for using a credit card.

The waitress was attentive and friendly. We ordered an appetizer (buffalo chicken fingers) and soup (broccoli and cheese and chowder) and it was all delicious! Our meals were also great, two Lem Parker sandwiches, two side salads, a spinach salad with chicken added and a fish Ruben. There were leftovers! We all had a great time, enjoyed the food and are looking forward to going back in the spring or summer when we expect the views of the Pemi to be beautiful!

When we arrived, there was a large bus with tourists that had just arrived so we opted to eat in the bar area versus eating outdoors. Our waitress (Trisha) was one of two bar tenders covering a bar that sat about 12 patrons plus about 6 other tables, She took our orders and then was tied up trying to assist others. We only saw her again when she asked if we desired dessert. My Pasta Fattoria had chicken, spinach, bacon , sun-dried tomatoes, garlic and was very enjoyable. My wife had the steak tips. I could not finish mine so I have lunch for another day. Overall, a nice meal and given the circumstances, Covered Bridge covered most needs.

Our server was excellent and the manager stopped by to see if we were enjoying ourselves. I had the French onion soup, which was very solid and the Asian noodles. I'd definitely come back here if I was in the area. Great experience overall.

Glad someone recommended Fosters( part of the Common Man family) our first time here. Originally, it was the boiler room for a paper mill before being converted. The setting is different- the most upscale Common Man I have eaten at(Lincoln, Concord,). There are numerous rooms and a spa with lodging. We ate downstairs in a secluded section but there are upstairs rooms as well. Katie took good care of us and helped with entree selections. Plenty of drink options. Everyone loved the calamari but my favorite app was the Reuben fritters. My stuffed chicken was good; others had the Mac and cheese, salmon, steak tips ,fried chicken and chicken pot pie. Desserts were decadent- chocolate mousse cake and vanilla ice cream with coconut and chocolate syrup.(sorry no pictures) Definitely worth a return visit. Plenty of parking.

Deservedly so, as it's a small quaint diner and very casual. We weren't really in the mood to sit at a restaurant table and order and be waited on. This looked just casual enough. Everything we ordered was delicious and very fresh as pointed out by a previous reviewer. Delicious ingredients and even the small serving of fruit on our plates was incredible. Service was great and the staff behind the counter were very friendly. You seat yourself, order at the counter (the woman behind the counter offered us menus as we walked in), get a number tent to place on your table, get your coffee, then the woman at the counter brings the food to your table. Actually, everyone there was nice. The diner is inside Mr Berry's on the Common in Plymouth. Lots of yummy potential on the menu. My husband ordered the Avocado Toast and I ordered the Hipster. We both had lattes, which were really good from a self-serve coffee machine, but it was really good coffee. While we waited for our food, which came out in about 10 minutes, I heard several people order Roadies. My Hipster consisted of an everything bagel with a fried egg, avocado, spinach and a yummy sauce. Wish the egg had been a little runnier, but it was a good blend and balance of flavors. I also saw a regular who came in (postal worker) who had a pot pie that is, from what I heard everyone at the counter talking about, extremely popular. Apparently there was word that they're taking it off the menu, and two women sitting at the counter were politely "interrogating" the staff as to the truth of this rumor. The owner or head chef was regaling the women with the irony of their hot items being more popular in the summer than in the winter. The pot pie and one of their soups are apparently two items that fit that bill. It made for an interesting conversation! Really cool, casual place. After we ate, we did some perusing of the store side of the establishment. All in all a great experience.
