We bought a few jars and with every spoonful we revel in their wonderfulness while simultaneously mourning the fact that we're one precious serving closer to an empty jar. Go get a bunch of jam! To me, having grown up in extreme poverty, these tacos taste like surviving poverty. They taste like a kind of soul food that you can only understand if you've lived it. (So if I see any too-privileged people knocking stars off because these tacos are exactly what they're supposed to be, I'll be shook.) When I saw the menu, I couldn't believe how cheap it all was. I'm pretty sure they need to raise their prices. I ordered a taco and a burrito (and got completely stuffed) for less than ten bucks. The ladies who work here all seemed super sweet.
