Crispy chicken wrap & potato salad
    Veronica J.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. We stopped here because the kids wanted typical kid food, burgers, nuggets and fries but didn't want McDonald's. The inside is small & has all the typical findings of 50s style burger spot. Lots of Coca Cola stuff, Elvis, Marilyn Monroe & Lucille ball photos all over the walls. The tv plays older movies on dvd. Service was fast and good. We got a cheeseburger, chicken nuggets & fries for the kids. They ate it all. I got the crispy chicken wrap it was huge and delicious. The potatoe salad was good for being on the plain side but still tasty. Also got the Philly cheesesteak & it was so good. Meat tasted good, peppers and onions weren't all soggy or to crunchy. Bread was so soft and a little greasy but in the best way possible. All of this was about $44 This will be a regular stop after the lake now.

Pros: * Great Ice cream * Plenty of seating indoor and outdoor * Great customer service Cons: *N/A Extra: * Great place to just sit and watch the town

Chicken strips, fries, and a large soda, less than $14 altogether

Popping in again to say this place is still fantastic, consistent and the staff is friendly. Robert's Frosty is my summer lunch break food of choice. Inside has a nice 50s diner feel, while the outside has lovely wood benches that are shaded by a large overhang that doesn't block the views of the quaint little town of Coarsegold. If the picture of the meal looks a little low on fries at because by the time I remembered to take it, I already scarfed down half of them. If I could give Robert's Frosty 10 stars, I would. Love you guys

We stopped at Robert's Frosty for a late dinner on our way into Yosemite. Not only was Robert welcoming but the food hit the spot and the old-time diner atmosphere was just what we needed on our long road trip. We will make this a regular stop on our way into Yosemite from now on :) Thank you Robert!

Robert's Frosty is an old style restaurant. The prices may be a bit on the higher side for the quality of food they serve, but it's a quick and easy meal. The outdoor seating isn't the cleanest and could definitely use some attention.

This place was delicious! Pulled in on a whim before getting to Yosemite Valley. It's a true hole in the wall, the outside looks a bit run down. But the food was delicious for the price. Was very impressed with the breakfast burrito, especially the hashbrowns. I don't usually like hashbrowns but they were cooked to perfection. Very crispy! The burger it was also a real surprise. Kind of like in and out, but just a little bit more delicious. Don't pass this place up! It's the last cheap good food for a while!!

Loved just about everything about this place. 14 of us came to Bass Lake/Oakhurst for vacation and decided to check it out. Was absolutely not disappointed. The young girl working was just simply amazing! The young gentleman was awesome as well. Our burgers were great! The ice creams were so good. It was a little warm and a few flies, but nothing was worth lowering the star count due to the awesomeness of the young lady. Give her a raise!!! To top it off, I left my phone there, and they answered it to let me know it was there and waited for me to come get it. I will go here every single time I'm in the area. Every time. I'm a fan. Thank you!

Plazuelas Mexican Restaurant, Oakhurst: 2026 Aug 5 (3.95 of 5)…read more Adrian, our server was gracious and friendly We were served water, complementary chips and salsa when seated. The chips were made in-house and had that clean fresh taste. The salsa was spicy but we couldn't stop eating. (4.5 of 5) Their prices are high for where they are located and our food didn't come with rice and beans. We agreed that the confirmation of a great Mexican restaurant comes from the rice and beans they serve. (4 of 5) Rib Eye Tacos: The rib eye tacos feature juicy, richly marbled steak cubes piled into warm home-made flour tortillas, topped with caramelized onions, cabbage and guacamole. The tender pieces of meat had great complexity, was well-charred, and had a nice mouthfeel. It breaks down easily with minimal chewing and the taste lingers on my tongue after each bite. (4.75 of 5) Fish Tacos: From street-food to table-top specialty, this is a popular Mexican dish. Their Ensenada-style beer-battered halibut served on homemade corn tortillas with pineapple-cabbage slaw and garlic chipotle sauce is crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Squeezing a generous amount of lime juice added a bright, sharp sour taste that cuts through and balances the overall flavour. (4.5 of 5) Atmosphere: The place is clean with table and chairs well spread out, but the music blaring over the speakers made conversations difficult. This eatery looks out onto the parking lot. (2 of 5) Location: This is located in an anchor business area so FREE parking is easily accessible. Service: Adrian was our server. He was genuine, unpretentious, and sincere. He's only been working there for 6-years, but he may be the anchor to this family-owned eatery. Plazuelas Mexican: A passion for honest, uncomplicated, and authentic flavours.

It feels complete and I LOVED their aguachile here!!! Spicy, zesty, chilled, and generous with the onions and cucumbers and avocado. It took longer to come out for sure, but when I tasted how fresh it was, it totally made sense. Each bite was humongous since I needed each component to make it perfect and I am so glad they gave enough toppings to complete each bite. AVOCADO IS NEEDED FOR SURE, the creaminess calmed down the spice and it was just delectable. It was so spicy that I had some stomach pain after, but the shrimp was also definitely basically completely raw as well. Take that as you will but every shrimp was perfectly deveined and this aguachile was a 1000/10. Thank you to the cooks and cashiers here! All super nice. We asked for more tostadas and they gave it to us free of charge. When the cashier told the cook, he was like "IS IT DELICIOUS" and we shouted across the restaurant that IT IS SUPER DELICIOUS. This will be my first pick when I go back! Most people got the burritos and stuff and those looked bomb too.

I was expecting a taco truck in a casino parking lot, but this was more like a deluxe wooden shack on private property. Prior to this, I'd only had 'Indian tacos' once before, at a Native American cultural day at the Crocker Art Museum in Sacramento. That one time was pretty much enough to make me a fan for life. Frybread tacos are all about the frybread. Truth be told, the filings don't matter. (As I write this, I can imagine a future full of gourmet 'Indian' tacos on Instagram, but...) The tacos are filled with cheap, super basic ingredients like full fat ground beef, iceberg lettuce, beef tomatoes, and "Mexican cheese blend." It's basically "white people taco night" on frybread. To me, having grown up in extreme poverty, these tacos taste like surviving poverty. They taste like a kind of soul food that you can only understand if you've lived it. (So if I see any too-privileged people knocking stars off because these tacos are exactly what they're supposed to be, I'll be shook.) When I saw the menu, I couldn't believe how cheap it all was. I'm pretty sure they need to raise their prices. I ordered a taco and a burrito (and got completely stuffed) for less than ten bucks. The ladies who work here all seemed super sweet. It didn't take long to get my order, and, in case this isn't clear by now, it was so good. I loved it. I plan to come back with friends.

No beans, no regrets, no consequences. Just pure, uninterrupted bowl bliss. Now let's discuss the chips. Fresh. Perfectly salty. A suspiciously addictive hint of lime . They tasted like they were made by someone's abuela who takes snack quality personally. I told myself I'd save some for later, but later never came because I apparently entered a feral, chip-devouring state. If there were witnesses, they've chosen not to speak. Fortunately, it doesn't suck too bad. It's exactly what you would normally expect from Taco Bell, but like, thirty percent less of it. The food is prepared correctly. It is hot, and fresh. But the portion sizes are just never quite what they're supposed to be, or what they would be if you ordered them from any other Taco Bell storefront. For example, I recently ordered a Build Your Own Veggie Cravings Box on the app with a Black Bean Crunchwrap Supreme, a Cheesy Bean and Rice Burrito, a Cheesy Fiesta Potatoes, and a Mt. Dew Baja Blast. Both the potatoes and the burrito were so undersized that I was able to open up the burrito, dump all of the potatoes into it, and easily wrap it back up. In fact, I've probably done this the last four times I came here. There was plenty of extra room in the bean burrito for the entire order of potatoes-- and there definitely should not be. The crunchwrap that comes in the box is not advertised as any kind of miniature version, but in reality, it is. If I had paid the menu price of six dollars for the crunchwrap alone, I probably would have been upset, but of course, that's how much I paid for the whole box. Aside from the sometimes comically small portion sizes, this Taco Bell is solid-- the prices, flavor, service, and quality are all still there.
