If you're looking for a classy bar and a glass of wine and some intellectual conversaiton, avoid this place. I'm a girl and I think it's fun. It's loud and rowdy. Went here while a friend was in town that has never been. We didnt have a bad time. Yes, service is a little slow. Im sure the bartenders dancing on the bar has a lot to do with that. I was able to trick my buddy into a "penalty shot" though. This made my visit worth it. Its a tourist spot for sure that is worth checking out if you have never been. It always seems pretty slow when I am there. Definitely not a place Id plan to go if going down to Ybor but overall isnt as bad as many of the reviews suggest. read more

Dive bar. However, it's a lot of fun! Great music and great staff. Free shots if you sing along with the songs or are willing to dance on the bar. Do not buy a shot from the 'shot girl'. She will give you a shot for $3 and then give a shot to herself and the bartender. She will then ask you for $9 (mind you, shots are $3). You have to pay for her shot and the bar tenders shot. If you don't, the bouncer will kick you out. This place is a scam. Go to the karaoke bar across the street. It's a lot better. read more

Came here last night for a friends 21st Birthday and all I can say was we definitely enjoyed our selfs. It was ladies night so my fiancé and the birthday girl had drinks free till midnight then $1 after but you definitely can't beat that. I was pretty much just paying for myself. I'm more of a beer drinker there was $3 domestics which is what I stuck to I ended up paying $36 with the tip which you cannot beat. The reason we really liked this bar was because it is high energy the coyote girls dancing on the bar all night interacting with the crowd keeps everything fun and interesting. They also let ladies from the crowd get up there and they would get free shots for doing so. When we walked I they noticed our newly 21 year old and got her on the at instantly which we kinda had to coax her up there since she did not have any alcohol yet. If you're like me, you have to get over yourself to have fun here. The first five minutes I was here, I kept thinking the girls on top of the bar were someone's daughters, and 'wouldn't daddy be proud'. What a jerk I am. I let loose, and ended up dancing on the bar myself! One of the girls explained to me, that the reason that they were doing this, was because she was always a shy person, and this was the perfect way to break out of her social norm. Not only did I end up dancing on the bar, but...gasp! I had FUN! A lot of fun! They were super helpful in showing me the line dance they were doing (I failed anyways),and were really nice to me. If I were a little more drunk, I probably would have been up there all night. But alas, I was sober, and wearing flip flops, and as much as they tried to get me back up there numerous times afterwards, I refused to budge. It was different. Like a strip club but with everyone's clothes on. There were of course the oglers sitting front and center trying to see up the girls shorts, but then there were people like me. Out to have a good time. Men and Women alike! I have no issues in saying that this is a must see in Ybor City, and every once in a while everyone should break out of their social norm! read more

One of the best bars in Tampa... The drinks are priced right (happy hour is 2 for 1 from 5 to 7), the bartenders are friendly and there is never any problems late at night like there are at other places on 7th avenue. All my friends love the place. read more
