Came in starved for a late breakfast. Jennifer our waitress put on a fresh pot of coffee and directed us to the stuffed biscuits & gravy special - yum. Split that & the Greek skillet with my sister for a perfect breakfast Prices, meals, & service did not disappoint!

Great food. Huge servings! The restaurant is really like a cozy little cabin. The service is awesome, everyone is friendly and helpful. We will definitely be coming back. The stuffed biscuits and gravy was out of this world and the breakfast quesadilla was equally good! I'd imagine everything from here is good.

    Biscuits and Homemade Sausage gravy.

I live around the corner from this place and it is about time I stop in for breakfast. I saw home made sausage gravy, I was sold. Gravy was good, not great but the biscuits needed to be better. I had a side of scrambled eggs and English muffin. My friend had a veggie omelet. I thought both of our meals were pretty heavy on the butter. I would stop back and give it another shot but it was very ok.

All meat skillet w/ green pepper added.

Cozy diner with friendly staff. Breakfast skillets are delicious with large servings.

How have I never heard of this place? It's not like it's terribly far from where I live, and I know the area, so how did I miss such a good place to eat at? The date and I came here for breakfast after I wanted something different and close to his place for food. It's right next to a bowling alley and facing the street, so we headed off to dine here since we were starving. We don't mind coney island, but there's a time and place for that sort of stuff and it wasn't this morning. It looks like a log cabin from the outside and pulling in, we found a spot right away. The menu here is pretty big, with a nice variety of food to choose from. They are open from about 7 am until 5 PM, so make sure to get here before they close. The waitress said their known for their breakfasts, and we were also told about the specials that were located on the board. Mind you, I never have good luck with specials at places, but this place actually had good specials. Potato pancakes, stuffed French Toast, and a breakfast Quesadilla. I went with the breakfast quesadilla with Turkey instead of pork, and the boyfriend went with the meat lovers skillet with toast. We both got coffee and our food was fabulous. I polished off all of my food, and boyfriend took some his home for later. Coffee was good, water was in mason jars and our server was fabulous. I mean, she was really good. The people watching here was fabulous, and we want to go back just for that alone. Sometimes, at this breakfast places you get the annoying old men who want to sit around and talk about boring stuff like cars, their IRA, their sick wife or whatever else old farts talk about. This place? NO. There were only 3 other dudes in the place and they were such complete odd balls we loved it. One had a mullet, the other one looked shady af on his tablet, and the one behind me (according to my date) sat frozen after his food was cleared for 5 minutes. Like no movement. The only downfall? While the seating here is plentiful even with covid restrictions, there is barely any room to fit in between the booth and table. If you weigh more than 10 pounds and are over 3 foot tall, it literally feels like you are jammed in the booth. I don't know why that is. Anyway, we're coming back because this place is way to much fun to not people watch, the prices are on point and the food is actually good. Thank you Cozy Cabin, you really made our day!

They are located next to a gas station which comes in handy if you also need gas. I order the number 1 and my son ordered the pizza burger. Both were very filling and delicious. The original burger was cooked perfectly and the bun was pretty good. The onions and pickles were so good and I don't usually like pickles. I didn't try the signature sauce as I'm not a fan of thousand island. But many people will enjoy it the way it's suppose to be made I'm sure. The pizza burger was pretty cool. It had 3 nice sized mozzarella sticks on them and pizza sauce. We wanted fries and they only come in one size. The one size is big enough to share. We were suggested the lemon pepper fries and that was such a great suggestion. They are fresh cut fries and you can tell. I was happy they had regular fries and not the battered crispy ones a lot of place do. So they definitely will get 5 stars for the fries alone. It has some seating inside, but most people seem to get carry out. The men at the counter were so nice in helping us. They really suggested things we would like and we did. I will be glad to give them my business again.

The people working here were so friendly and personable with literally everyone that walked in the door. The service was top notch. It is also the most adorable place giving vibes of Lamy's food counter at Henry Ford Museum. I loved all of the options on the menu and it was so hard just picking a couple items to try. We had chicken tacos. They were so good and so fresh, I loved the sauce on top. Honestly, I am not sure if it was cheese or a sour cream type mixture, but it was creamy and flavorful. I also had the torta which was absolutely incredible. It had the same chicken as the taco. The chicken was slow cooked or stewed and shredded and was so flavorful, like a homecooked chef's kiss. The bread was fresh. I loved the sauce poured over it, making it a dipped and soaked sandwich. The carrots and cilantro, sliced radishes and sliced fresh jalapenos added a level of crunch, freshness and deeper flavor profile. I would want to get this every time. We also tried their delicious "curly" fries, which were like julienned shoestring fries fired fresh. It seemed like every dish was made fresh and right in front of you. So worth it, plus the prices are great. I would love to try their fried chicken plate, their breakfast sandwiches, and their other desserts. We talked to the man behind the counter who seemed like maybe a manager. He gave us their famous chocolate chip cookie to try. It was fresh baked and delicious. I would love to take home more of those. It looked so simple but was better than many bakeries specializing in cookies alone. He also gave us an second order of fries to take home with my leftovers, just top notch kindness and service. This man told us that OWL owns other restaurants and we would probably like them. I am open to trying more of their group but I do want to return here. This is one of those diners you would find being profiled for best kept secret or gourmet home cooked foods under the guise of fast food.

Tonight I paid attention and all was right in my world. It's jarring when I don't. Still, throw up a yellow piece of tape or something. This is not drunk or wheelchair friendly. I wasn't either yet, so the coast was clear. We sat at the bar and it was vino for bestie- a malbec and a black cherry bourbon cola slushy and agua for me. Mike was our bartender / server and he made sparkling conversation like we were old friends. He just got back from Vegas. He went to Chinatown. Love it! The atmosphere is a light wood, sports bar feel, the tvs were closed captioned, and the menus had QR codes. There was a $30 ancho salmon on the menu. It came with my choice of side. I opted for the Greek salad. She got French onion soup and quinoa salad. Let's talk about my meal and why I'm giving 5 stars despite the whole front step thing. The salmon was perfect. It has a crispy red speckled exterior that was slightly spicy and very savory. Inside it was perfectly cooked and moist. It was just a bit less than an inch thick and pieces flaked off on my fork easily. There was no fishiness and I ate the crisp skin, which I never do usually with salmon. It was divine. It came with a side. The Greek side salad took up half my plate and it was piled high with a truly interesting and thoughtful array of quirky bites. It was weird for sure- but it worked. Picture a Greek salad in your mind. Ok this is not that. It had the usual crunchy lettuce with a light and tangy Greek dressing. There were vibrant and sweet red onions and feta. And then it got wild. There were crunchy pickled beets, roasted tomatoes that tasted like basil, sweet jalapenos, (Yes- you read that right!) crunchy fried garbanzos that tasted like Indian spices... It was the strangest and most deliberately delicious Greek salad I've ever had. I'm not a salad person. At all. This was the star of the show, but that salmon was stiff competition. Together, the meal sang. You have no idea the gratitude that swept over me after having that nursing home salmon at Red Robin for my birthday. I have been vindicated. This is the salmon I was meant to have. This is the salmon I deserve. I can now return to Las Vegas satisfied that Michigan did show up in a big way for me today. Thanks Vincetta Garage and Mike! Five stars! Fix your step.
