I used to love this place, but I need to update my review. The last few visits have been consistently disappointing. The staff have been rude and seem bothered every time I come through. Today was especially uncomfortable. The barista (beanie, vest and braided hair) was unfriendly, visibly annoyed, and not helpful when I asked for a recommendation. I always ask for light ice because my drink often sits at my desk while I'm interrupted at work, and I don't want it watered down before I can enjoy it. Despite clearly requesting light ice, my drink came back nearly ¾ full of ice. I politely asked if some of the ice could be removed, explaining why. The barista rolled her eyes, and the other employees working this morning laughed and made comments. She refused to come back to the window and instead handed my order to another employee (white sweatshirt with hair pulled back), who shoved my breakfast out the window with a grimace. As someone who has been a barista for over 20 years, this level of behavior is unacceptable. I was polite, clear, and reasonable. Ordering a lotus with light ice is not a difficult request. If interacting with customers or accommodating simple preferences is an issue, this may not be the right job. read more

Ordered two El Gordo breakfast burritos to go. I had already stopped at another place for coffee so I want to come back and try their coffee drinks! Smells amazing in here!! They make their food as ordered so yes a bit of a wait but worth it! So good and yum Lots of friendly young ladies working here so it moves pretty fast. Also there is a drive through that moves pretty quickly too! $9.00 for a breakfast burrito is a great deal!! Compared to California prices this is a bargain!! read more

Went for the first time,as we are new to the area. I will not be going back. Order a protein puck it expired months ago and Chai Latte that was just okay very heavy milk taste more than anything. The service was great... my only issue was the drink was just okay and the protein puck was expired. I only say I will not be returning because there are lots of great choices close by, but wanted to give them a try as well. read more

Worst coffee I've ever had in Spokane. I've tried multiple drinks (hot & cold, regular coffee and lattes) from them throughout the last year or so and every time it's the weakest and most sour coffee I've ever had. I prefer local to big chain coffee shops all day every day. And this one is so close to me so I really wanted to love it. But the coffee is just terrible the people and location are nice, but $6 for the worst iced latte I've ever had is just a bummer. read more

they have good drinks however, they don't list prices ANYWHERE, the total is different everytime, and today when I asked for an itemized bill because i ordered a 16oz chai TEA and ONE biscuit and the total was $16 she was unable to provide it. I'm from out of town and visit my parents in the valley frequently. For years I would walk to the nearby Starbucks for my morning coffee and snack. Little did I realize that this coffee shop was just a few blocks away. Ditch Starbucks (they're doing fine) and support this local gem. Good coffee and breakfast items. Did I enter a time warp? Am I in 2019? That's exactly how I felt going through this drive thru on Friday morning just after finishing a hunting trip to the area. I pulled up and didn't see a menu, but i had seen they had breakfast wraps from pics from Yelp. The barista greeted me with a strawberry blond smile, and a friendly, "How are you? what we having this time?" I told her I was hungry for a breakfast sandwich but didn't see a food menu. She told me a whole bunch of options. I had just got done with a week of hunting, so I was a bit sleep-deprived and didn't catch all the choices, but I was blown away with how many options there were. I told her I had seen a breakfast wrap photo and she said it might be pretty good time for that as it was quite filling. She asked if I wanted anything to drink and Again, because of my sleep-deprivation, my mind wasn't processing. I asked if she could get my breakfast wrap going and I'd look at the drink menu. I checked out the menu and saw I could also order an omelette! She came back and I asked her if I could switch to an omelette! She smiled and did of course. I asked how they can make omelettes to go and then changed my mind back to the delicious sounding breakfast wrap with eggs, cheese, bacon, spinach, red peppers, and feta! I also ordered a bulletproof coffee- first iced and then I changed my mind to hot as I had been tromping around the mountain in 10 degree weather. I don't know how many times I changed my mind or asked for clarification, but each time the barista was pleasant and never once made me feel rushed even though there eventually was a car behind me. I wanted to give the barista an "attagirl" so I checked on the receipt for her name. The receipt read: "Cashier's Name: EMPLOYEE" I told her, "thank you for your service, Employee" "EMPLOYEE" was kind and had a wonderfully welcoming smile, just like you'd want an employee...ah...just like you'd want a barista to be. And I ended up paying just $13 for a large hot bulletproof coffee and a breakfast wrap that was just as delicious as I thought it would be. With the kindness, the patience, and the huge selection, I felt as if I was in 2019- a much kinder, friendlier, and AFFORDABLE time. Awesome! For the first time in a long time, I felt I wasn't getting ripped off, nor inconveniencing someone for asking them to do their job. I hopefully will be back again and be greeted by EMPLOYEE's friendly smile! read more

This was my and my wife's go-to place for many years. I feel like the service has gone down and prices are too high. I ordered a zip fizz for my wife recently. There was more ice than drink, wasn't stirred up and didn't taste good. And after a $1.00 tip, total was $6.20. I'm not interested in a six dollar cup of flavored ice. Wife was disappointed. But I'm also not going to drive 2 miles back to return a bad drink. We will try again sometime but probably not that beverage choice. $6.20 gets me a very nice beverage at Starbucks that I know will be done right. read more

Cute little coffee shop close to my new place. I decided to check it out. Huge variety. If Even has beer and wine for the sit down option. Adorable shack with more choices than I've ever seen. Organic cold brew, kombucha, energy drinks, etc. I decided to go with their weekly special, sweet and salty. I had it on ice and they gave it to me in a styrofoam cup I'm assuming to keep it colder longer in this extensive heat. I actually prefer the plastic drink cups because I reuse them and then recycle what I'm done. It was pretty tasty. Definitely a place I'll check out again and again and again.. They have a bagel on their menu that looks loaded that I'll have to give a shot when I'm actually hungry. Just on Barker with two entrances and two sides to take your order. The server was pleasant and was super helpful with giving me lots of information about their stuff. After I've gone back a few times I might update my four stars to a five. read more

That breakfast burrito is AMAZING. 5 stars because I love this place but the one thing they could do better is consistency. One of my burritos had burnt has browns once and ended up tossing it out the window. Coffee is always delicious even when I roll in for a late night latte. The morning gals do make the best coffee though! Night time gent is a bit off with his coffee skills but I know I'm a weirdo for getting late night lattes anyway. Kids get chocolate milks every time we go here and they say 10/10 on the chocolate milk! read more

So I came in to study and have some breakfast, Had my 6shot 20 oz iced latte with a breakfast sausage egg n cheese bagel For starters let me say, this place is super cute! Fresh flowers on the counters, indoor and outdoor sitting. I get the whole small box coffee shop thing the Northwest has going on and it's really growing on me but this is far from that. I think I got more than I was expecting from spectacular service from the three amazing young lady's like literally they all served me it was awesome and not to mention they served dozens of cars through two drive through windows. I'm ex service industry and let me tell you these girls held it down. Move over Starbucks with your 5+ crews I had my coffee and bagel, hung out for a while to study. Highly recommended, great menu and great service! Hope to be back in the area to stop by again. read more

I'd suggest driving a little bit more rather than stopping here. The girl who was serving us kept ignoring us to talk to her boyfriend. She Was very loud and obnoxiously talking to her boyfriend. We were out in that area and looked up restaurants on Yelp. Their menu had very interesting items on it and thought we try it. We had our dog with us so we parked in the lot and called in our order. They said the menu on Yelp was not valid and I'd have come in to see the menu. So I went in and asked to see a paper menu and they told me "no paper menu" it's on board. We'll my eye site isn't so goon and I couldn't read the menu on the board. I walked away hungry and disappointed. read more

Visiting from out of town and drawn in by yelp reviews. From the exterior I thought it might just be a drive in Coffee place, it is that and so much more. The interior is great, cozy and inviting as the name of the place indicates, they also have patio seating. Had an americano w cream, my daughter had a mocha - we really enjoyed the coffee - roast was great, and without bitter overtones characteristic of other prominent coffee shops. The El Gordo burrito was really flavorful, and the Jalapeno bagel was amazing as well. Staff was friendly and got it all just right. Really glad I happened by this place. Made my morning! read more

The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the breakfast sandwiches were great. My husband's coffee was good and my chai tea was excellent. I like it made from a teabag rather than the syrup and the staff happily accommodated that and added cream and sugar to make it like a chai tea latte. read more
