Just stumbled across this gem today looking for a place to relax for a bit while a friend of mine was at a thrift shop next door. Went in thinking it would be a typical coffee shop; but it was so much more. A great selection of Ukrainian, Russian, and German goods. Coffee shop. European grocery. And bakery. The macaroons are to die for.

I absolutely love this place. I came in the other day to try it out because my friends have been recommending it to me and I just fell in love with it. They have amazing customer service and they were so helpful with anything I asked. I absolutely recommend trying there salmon toast it was amazing and definitely satisfied my taste buds. I would also recommend there zip fizz with popping pearls it has such a summery taste to it and I extremely enjoyed it. This coffee shop was very unique and aesthetic. They offered a lot of different varieties of packaged foods from different countries. Definitely recommend you try this place out.

After searching for a specific Ukrainian ingredient, I found it here! The store was well organized and the pastries looked amazing. I picked up a few items and ordered a coffee from their cafe. The service was helpful and very friendly. If you're looking for speciality items and are out in The Valley it's worth the stop.

This place is awesome! I love the mini sweet box and the Red Bull Italian soda. I'll usually pick up a sweet box on Friday or Saturday while out running errands and it lasts me all weekend! You get a really good variety, the peach and the filled chocolate cake are my my favorite. Their macarons are amazing and they're huge. The staff are great and the store is really cute :) Definitely worth stopping in

Heart be still. This place is amazing. It rivals Porto's in LA, which probably means nothing to you unless you've experienced the overwhelming choices of delectable sweets. We had an apple fritter that actually had real bits of apple and cinnamon throughout, perfectly fried and not filled with grease. The croissants were the best since Paris. Seriously. Flakes, buttery bites of deliciousness. I'm so jealous of all you Idahoans who have this place in your backyard. read more

Don't let the unassuming exterior fool you - if you want a delicious cup of coffee, this is your spot. I ordered my usual 8oz latte with whole milk and it was exactly how I like it - chocolate notes in a deep and rich (not BURNT!) flavor profile. The cafe is quiet and incorporates a delightful Eastern European bakery and food shop. The guy working was sweet and helpful. I would stop in again....the coffee is worth a second cup! read more

Wasn't super impressed. We got there right when they opened and they told us that they sold out of the cannoli's already when we were the first ones there. Also everything is brought in. Nothing is made in house. It's good for a treat but don't be expecting gourmet or fresh. They have some good little grocery items. And a cute little seating area to meet with someone. Super cute coffee shop, went for my first time today and it was perfect place to meet with friends for coffee. Even had a great kids table with toys, which was awesome to see. Super adorable place. Big inside too even though the storefront has you fooled thinking it is tiny. We came here because I was craving a donut and even though we went in and there were no donuts, we were not disappointed. They had a plethora of yummy treats on display to purchase. We got two pistachio cake pops, 1 almond cake pop, and a peach tartlette. These pastries are far classier then the donut I was craving (hello 5 months pregnant). The guy running the store was super sweet and friendly. Helped up right away. He even washed his hands in front of us before handling the pastries. He took his time to tell us what each item was to help us make a choice. They even had a bunch of coffee to choose from but we really just came for the pastries. Overall, great quality stuff and super great price. Will be coming here more often now that I know it is here. Maybe next time we will even sit inside. They have am awesome sitting area with a couch and a bunch if cute tables by the window. Awesome atmisphere. They have stuff for purchase as well. Some European staples. They have a meat/sausage selection as well. read more

Before my husband and I set off on our 8 hour trip back home we decided to grab some coffee and pastry for the road and I'm so glad we did! This cute little shop has delicious coffee, a wonderful selection of pastries and a really nice barista. It is nice and spacious inside, plenty of places to sit and have a nice morning with a friend. There was also what looked like a mini grocery store inside also. We ordered a large iced maple latte, small dark chocolate mocha and a couple cannolis. Everything was wonderful and I recommend checking this place out. read more

Once you find this absolutely delightful shop you're home free! With it's comfortable ambiance and array of Eastern European foods and of course, excellent coffee, it's a wonderful place to linger, visit and shop. Among the offerings are fresh pastries, a large selection of sausages, fresh bread, international cookies, etc.; all at surprisingly reasonable prices. Whoever is making their bread knows exactly what they're doing. It is FANTASTIC. I purchased a very large round sourdough for $5 (!!) There's a great sales rack and again, just an amazing array of items to peruse. A friend and I spent a very pleasant hour and a half at a tall table near the sunny front windows. Handsome young Roman, who was running the front area, was great; preparing our drinks and helping explain the foreign labels. All in all, a HIGHLY recommended destination. That said, I blew past it twice trying to locate. It's in an older strip mall set back off Appleway (near Barker), about the center store in the strip. The business was very hard to pinpoint and building numbers are invisible until you get up to the entrance. Otherwise, well worth a visit!! Enjoy! read more

I just found this little gem today as I was coming out of my chiropractors office. Didn't even realize they are right next door to Greenacres Chiropractic in Spokane Valley. I am a coffee snob so am always hesitant to try new places but since I was already right there I thought I'd give it a try. They make the BEST lattes! And prices are so reasonable too! The atmosphere is inviting and they have wonderful international goodies. Since it's Valentines I opted to bring home a couple of the Birds Milk. So light. Kind of a Marshmellow texture without being really sweet. And the dark chocolate - oh my! Plus he gave me two for one as a sample. All around nice place. I will definitely be back! read more

Lots of great Slavic treats! My dad came from Poland, so I was raised on Borscht, homemade bread and all kinds of sausage. This place's meat counter is very good, and their sandwiches are some of the best. Save room for pastries and coffee! read more

I used to love this place, but I need to update my review. The last few visits have been…read moreconsistently disappointing. The staff have been rude and seem bothered every time I come through. Today was especially uncomfortable. The barista (beanie, vest and braided hair) was unfriendly, visibly annoyed, and not helpful when I asked for a recommendation. I always ask for light ice because my drink often sits at my desk while I'm interrupted at work, and I don't want it watered down before I can enjoy it. Despite clearly requesting light ice, my drink came back nearly ¾ full of ice. I politely asked if some of the ice could be removed, explaining why. The barista rolled her eyes, and the other employees working this morning laughed and made comments. She refused to come back to the window and instead handed my order to another employee (white sweatshirt with hair pulled back), who shoved my breakfast out the window with a grimace. As someone who has been a barista for over 20 years, this level of behavior is unacceptable. I was polite, clear, and reasonable. Ordering a lotus with light ice is not a difficult request. If interacting with customers or accommodating simple preferences is an issue, this may not be the right job.

And completely ignored my suggestion that as a place that sells food, they should focus on selling food that actually tastes good. I know, I am weird, I happen to like food that is prepared well and tastes good. I imagine this bistro is going to have the same bad luck as the last three ideas that didn't last very long here.

They don't burn the milk for mochas like a lot of other places in Spokane. The employees are always really friendly and move quickly. Interior is nice and clean. Good place to relax with your pastries. I also feel like the prices are kinda high. Even in this age of higher prices.

The flavors were great and I also love adding the house made strawberry sauce to my sourdough toast. My husband got the waffle and said it was delicious. It had a crisp texture and was fluffy inside. The side egg and sausage helped balance everything out and finished off the meal. As for the resturant, the wait is always a little long as it is a small place. But it's so worth it. I encourage you to park on the road and not in the parking lot. It can be tight to maneuver and the road is easier to access and leave. Great breakfast.

A must try for everyone! My daughter stopped here and brought home treats and now I am addicted. We recently moved from the Tri Cities where we had an excellent European Bakery and were so sad when we moved. We are so excited to find a wonderful European Bakery here in Spokane. read more

Amazing European Store stooped by and got some piroshki and they were delicious. Very pleasant employees. And there drinks are very good tried the Kvass. They also got European ice cream. Will be coming back for sure many more times. 5+++ Stars read more
