Their donuts are good, but the selection is kinda off. I have never seen even a space for basic glazed. That is kinda the bread and butter of donut shops. Anyway. Coffee is good. They don't burn the milk for mochas like a lot of other places in Spokane. The employees are always really friendly and move quickly. Interior is nice and clean. There's two things I'm extremely picky about - my coffee and the donuts I'll be enjoying with it. This place excels at both! The donuts are large, fluffy and perfectly iced/glazed. The coffee is strong, but not overly bitter and the owner definitely knows how to make a specialty drink. Next time I am in Spokane I will make sure this is on my list to visit again. Best donuts I have found in Spokane. They are massive. I walked in not really knowing what I was in for. I was greeted warmly by the person behind the counter. She said she would be with me in a moment because she also was manning the drive thru. I started to order three donuts, an apple fritter, a maple bar and, chocolate bar. She let me know it was better to get half a dozen. I was happy I did. I got their peanut butter square, a raspberry bear claw and a cream filled at her suggestion. They were light and flaky and full of flavor. I brought them home to my parents and grandparents and after they got over the sheer size of them and tried them, it was pretty much decided that this was the go to place for a sugar rush. When I came in at 9 they were sold out of a lot but after tasting them I can understand why. I will definitely come back and try more flavors. I've been here more times than I'd like to admit...considering it's a short distance from my home. It's usually where we get donuts when we're in the mood for them. Most of the time the donuts here are good, taste fresh and have good flavor. My favorite is the Tiger Tail- a twist of plain glazed donut and chocolate donut. My only real critique of this place is that on multiple occasions, I've gotten a donut (usually a fritter or tiger tail) that isn't cooked all the way through and the dough on the inside is a raw...which is not pleasant to eat. This review is not about the actual donuts, because we didn't get any. Got there, walked in and there were 5 people ahead of us. Donut case was 3/4 empty (10am on a Sunday). The drive through person was taking the donuts by the boxful out of the case, leaving nothing for us in line. We watched as the donuts disappeared. The person handling the in-person orders was so slow! We stood there 10 minutes and during that time only 1 person in line ahead of us was served. We were hoping more donuts would be brought out prior to us making it to the front of the line. We waited another 5 minutes or so and didn't move, so we left. By the time we left - there were maybe 10-12 donuts left in the case. The man in front of us in line said its always like this but his daughter loves those donuts so he returns. We happened upon this little shop while in search for coffee, but were persuaded to pick up a dozen assorted donuts by the delicious smell that hit our noses upon stepping inside. The maple bar was fantastic, nice maple flavor, without the make-your-teeth-fall-out sweetness. The filling in the cherry turnover tasted pleasantly like cherry soda. I called this place to see if they still had donuts. There was no answer...the line went to a answering machine. Seeing as it was only 10:45 and the machine said they were open until 12:30...I figured it was a safe bet that they would have SOMETHING. I decided to drive the 15 minutes and try my luck. I arrive at 10:55 and there is a sign on the door that says "Out of donuts for the day"! What's the point of advertising you are open until 12:30 when you close before 11:00?! I find this extremely annoying and unprofessional. At the least, adjust your answering machine recording to say you decided to close an hour and a half early. These are amazing donuts!! Get there early cuz they do go fast! I've had to choose from donuts I don't usually like - like plain cake donuts- and absolutely love them! The dough is made fresh from scratch, so they say and it shows! Never dry, just the right amount of chewy in the raised sort. Maple bars frosting is the best in town! And drive thru, come on!!
