Absolutely terrible manicure and even worse customer service.

Terrible service and terrible manicure. Left without getting the planned pedicure as my nails turned out so bad. Would stay far away from here especially when there's so many local options.

3 weeks after getting a gel manicure

This is the best place to go for gel manicures and especially pedicures. The owners are the best people in the world and truly know how to do more than just paint your nails. Sam personally has healed so many of my leg and knee injuries from marathon training with the reflexology pedicure. They also offer 10 min massage for $15 which has healed my neck so many times. Point is they care and are always giving their best quality to each client. My gel manicures always last until i go back. Ill never go anywhere else. This picture is after 3 weeks for my gel manicure

They always do a great job and the massages are so nice. It's ran by a lovely couple who actually care about their customers and give the best customer service! After finding this place I don't go anywhere else :)

Gel manicure chipped after 1 day.

I paid $80 for a gel manicure and pedicure. The service was extremely rushed. My curicles weren't clipped and my nails weren't buffed. They used the electric filer for everything. And as you can see in the pictures my gel manicure is chipping after 1 day. The owners were nice and gave a great massage with my pedicure which is why I gave 2 stars.

Pedicure time!

The man doing my pedicure did a great job! I think they're doing a great with COVID regulations because they require you to wash your hands before doing a service. Right now it's appointment only . Staff was very friendly.

Best massage I've ever had during a pedicure. This really is a cozy spot to get your nails done. $35 for a pedicure.

Very reasonable prices and they do nice work. I've only ever had manicures and I have no complaints.

I was tired of pulling a comb through my overgrown hair in frustration so I went to Theo's for a hair relaxer. Theo took one look at my hair and knew exactly what to do. She recommended that I get a texturizer so that I could continue the process of transitioning into natural hair. She was incredibly gentle with my hair (and I'm pretty tender headed). When I was done, my hair looked perfectly straight and styled. She also offered to teach me how to blow dry my hair (a frustrating process for me). Over several visits to her salon, she taught me the tips and tricks necessary to efficiently blow dry my hair (for free!). This is a skill that I continue to use to this day. Overall, I recommend Theo to everyone. She can handle any type of hair or any texture. She goes above and beyond for her clients and conducts her business with integrity. If I could give her a ten star review here, I totally would.

I work nearby and used to get…read morehaircuts with Nicole, who's excellent at what she does: professional, consistent, and easy to talk to. For a while, it was my go-to spot. Unfortunately, I stopped going after a negative experience with one of the front desk staff (a male receptionist). I had to reschedule a same-day appointment, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. I understand that salons try to avoid last-minute changes, especially when schedules are tight. That said, Nicole had plenty of open slots that day, so it didn't seem like a major issue. What really made me decide to stop coming back wasn't the rescheduling policy - it was his attitude. Rude, condescending, and unnecessarily passive aggressive, especially considering this was the first time I'd rescheduled in years. The tone and way it was handled felt unprofessional and left a bad impression. Since then, I've been going to Cosmo Blue, just a few blocks away, and the experience has been better. Friendly staff, professional service, and no attitude. A colleague of mine recently mentioned having a similarly unpleasant interaction with the same receptionist (different issue, same bad attitude), which prompted me to finally write this review. It's a shame, because Nicole does great work, but the front desk experience matters too.

Cosmo Bleu is next to a consignment shop and bubble tea place, on the "other" side of Nassau. The outside awning looks a little dated, but the interior seemed clean and not as old looking as I had expected from other reviews. Aguri did a great job with my hair and was really fun to chat with. The head massage during the shampoo was really relaxing, and she listened to what I was looking for before making her own suggestions. I just wanted to trim my bob without looking like a puffball (I have a round face, and Asian hair protests against volume), and she did just that while restyling my layers. It's been about a month since then, and my hair still looks good (with maybe one area that's grown out a bit flippy). I'm not sure if I'll be totally changing stylists quite yet, but Aguri has gained my trust.

I don't think she cut my hair in the extra pay price I paid for, she just trimmed it. At the end, I ran out of cash, and the snotty lady at the desk said run to CVS for the tip, when I asked if I can come back late or mail it in. This is not the first time the front desk was snotty. The stylist really didn't care about me as a client.
