As i go under the nail dryer being asked if I would like to put my tip on a card or would i like to pay cash is a whole INSULT! I did not pay for a service (and i will be fair and say the pedicure and manicure job were well done) to be insulted. Manners and respect are part of a service. I don't know her motivation in asking but i tip well and have trained my teenage daughter (who also received a service) to tip well. I will go back but I will never sit in her chair again. If a tip is defined as a sum of money given to someone as a reward for their services and being insulted is bad customer service... Fix that Moze. Fix it quick. read more

The pedicure was great I asked for stronger massage and was given that. But during the spa mango pedi the nail tech combined steps 1&2 when my mother in laws nail tech did steps 1&2 separately. Toes were done first and color was great. Moved onto nails and they did not match AT ALL. the lady who did my toes kept saying they were the same so I had her switch the nail color to this. They aren't the same color but after being there for 3.5 hours I was ready to leave. At first, people seemed friendly but I felt it was pricy. I did powder nails and have been doing it for past 5 years. And they are supposed to last 3-4 weeks. The manager (a guy) kept saying the guarantee is only 1 week. That's incorrect. My nails started chipping one by one at the tip after 1 week. I wasn't going to leave a review. But after the experience I had I was dissatisfied. They made an appointment for me at 5:45 I got there at exactly that time, they made me sit and wait for almost 20 minutes even though I made an appointment. I was getting a regular gel pedicure and regular gel manicure. When I was getting the pedicure the only thing they did aside from put new nail polish on was put my feet in the water and cleaned my cuticles. They didn't scrub my feet or do any other treatment. They said that was $30 extra to do that. They said they would give me a foot massage which was actually on my legs. Half way into the pedicure another girl comes and starts working on my feet. And then another girl comes over to start my finger nails. I already had gel polish on my fingernails so she started using that file tool to get the polish off and it's getting all over my clothes. And she has me stretching all over the place to reach her. She then tells me my thumb nails look different because one of my thumbs is bigger than the other... finally I get over to the manicure table and she was getting nail polish all over me. She was really rushing. I found out that they closed at 7 so they were in a rush to go home and it was Memorial Day weekend. She put lotion on my hands at the end and then goes "ohh we don't have hot towels so here you go." And hands me a paper towel. So then I had to tip 3 people because 3 different people worked on my nails.... I wasn't thrilled with the experience but I wasn't going to leave a nasty review until this happened... one of my nails chipped after a week! This is GEL nail polish! So do yourself a favor and don't goto this place. They have no idea how to take care of their clients. I will not be going back to this place ever. read more

This was my first and my last time I'll be visiting Moze Nail & Spa. I'm a 24 year old woman from Hightstown, NJ and I've been getting my nails done for as long as I can remember. Sunday February 16th I needed to get my nails done but unfortunately I got out of work late. Most salons close early on Sunday but luckily I found, through Google, that Moze was open until 6pm. I called, got the aokay I could walk in, and made my way over. I was getting a gel manicure refill and color change. The process of getting my nails was done in a timely manner. But the next day, Monday February 17th, my right thumb nail chipped. I was annoyed because just 24 hours previously, I paid for them to be done. But nevertheless I didn't worry about it, I went back to the salon and they took care of me. However Tuesday February 18th, not only did the right thumb chip again, but so did my right pointer finger! I was surprised because like I said I just got them done on that Sunday but nonetheless, I went back -again- and they greeted me with a smile and fixed my nails. Unfortunately Thursday the 20th the same two nails chipped again plus my left thumb nail!! At that point I didn't want to drive again I was very annoyed with their services. It wasn't even a full week! Why are my nails chipping? All in all, that was my first and last time visiting the salon because like I said, I've been getting my nails done for as long as I remember. There's no explanation as to why my nails didn't last one week. The location and hours are suitable, the design of the salon is beautiful, for my first visit I even got a complimentary massage while getting my nails done, and they offer free refreshments. But as we all know you want to go to the nail salon and get your nails completely done. I was very unsatisfied with my nails. read more

This place has been my go to for a while. However, I always request a specific person because I think she provides the best quality. This time around my girl was on vacation, so I had to get my nails done by someone else. Let's start from the beginning, first the positive. The woman who did my nails was really nice, and the finished product was a 4 star job. However there were a few things that make me rate my experience 3 stars. First, she did not clean under my nails AT ALL. Second, the corners of my ballerina shaped nails could take someone's eyes out. Too pointy for me. Third, if this place is gonna charge $5 for a shape I would expect the shape of my nails to be cleaned! This picture is nails a little more than a week after getting them done. Two of the nails are already lifting. Including tip, these nails were almost $100. My main issues are 1. my tech did not clean under my nails at all 2. the corners gonna poke someone eye out, and 3. one week later nails lifting. Leaving the salon I walked out an extremely happy woman. But as not a lot of time went on, those were my issues. read more

Been going here for at least a year and they are clean and were friendly. Went yesterday with two girls who were not loud or disruptive. They wanted designs on their ring fingers. They said they couldn't do it because it was white on a colored nail polish. Made no sense. Then they said they could - for $5 per finger. Then she didn't do the design that was asked for. Over the summer they did designs on every nail for $20 (without asking me if it was ok). I'm letting too many of these things go through and getting more aggravated by the increasingly rude service. read more

This was my 2nd time at this salon and I have to say I am highly unsatisfied and disappointed with the service and bad business practices. The nails were decent and the toes were very bulky with rough handling. But beyond that they tried to charge an additional unauthorized $55 to my account after service. I was checked out at the front desk and gave a cash tip (which was 15%) and the nail tech was upset that she had to split it. But beyond that, I do not appreciate them sneakily adding $55 to my bill without authorization or just cause when the nail tech said (and I asked twice) that was the full charge for all the services me and my bf received for sub par service. Absolutely the best nail salon I've been to. They were kind, considerate, attentive and great at what they do. I had to bring my 1 year old and they took great care of him and played with him while I was getting my nails done. Do not read any negative reviews as they are most definitely from picky Karens that don't even bother to schedule in appointment but expect pristine service with a walk-in when it's already busy. I have been coming here for 2 years now probably 1-2x a month and NEVER had an issue! While I say they have recently gotten a lot busier, they do everything in their power to accommodate to each client and fit everyone into their schedule. My nails always look great, the place is extremely clean, there's no feeling of being rushed during your service, and the pricing is very reasonable. Went today because all the great reveiws was excited since jersey strong members get 20% off. Got there at 12oclock, wanted a powder fill.Only 2 other customers were in spa they took me to chair to soak, after the girl started working,she must have pushed my cuticles 3 times with a metal instruments, it,s now 12:45 she finally starts dipping my nails and notice there is no white since I asked for a French. I assume she asked a coworker and he said to paint the white. Again she starts on the cuticles but with her fingernails now mine are throbbing..its now 1:30, I've had enough she continues to paint the white to her perfection,didn't leave till 2 oclock. Not sure about attention to either hygiene or quality of work. First time the tech put sanitizer in the water WHILE MY FEET WERE IN THE WATER. Second time I saw no sanitizer being used at all between customers. Sloppy job on filing of nails, they are not all even. Everyone seems in a hurry. The man who did my pedicure handed me off to another tech to do my nails. They don't even buff your callouses, I thought that was the point of a pedicure? Only go to this place if you want pedicures. I went in to get a full set with gel and it took them three people because no one knew how to do them. The guy that glued the nails on put glue on the back of the acrylic while it was already glued to my nail, the girl that shaped them was super aggressive and kept burning me with the buzzer, and the guy that painted them missed numerous spots on the nails. Lastly, they are inanely over priced. I spent 60 dollars just for them to put red polish on them. Then the lady asks me to leave a tip... i told her numerous people did my nails how am i supposed to tip?? She tells me I can just tip one on the receipt. I have never experienced this at a nail salon before. They look fine but they're definitely not worth 60 dollars.. I really like this place! They have fun pedicure options if you like to upgrade but if you want the standard they are great too and the price is good! I only had one time where I had problems with my gel manicure chipping earlier than it should and they fix that within one week or so for free. I had received a card on my first visit that was sloppily written, making it appear that I was going to save 50% off of my next service. I had a terrible experience at this nail salon. I would not recommend. I would've allocated no stars but it wouldn't let me post my review. I've been getting my nails done over 20years. The place and person I normally go to was on vacation for three weeks. This place was close to the gym so I figured I'd try it. I made an appointment for a gel manicure and pedicure. They charge $3 extra if you select OPI polish which I thought was ridiculous. The gentleman who did my pedicure did not seem comfortable and overall it was ok just ok. The woman doing my gel manicure was worst. They both spoke barely any English. Kept tapping my hand and telling me to relax. This was not a relaxing experience. Also one of their kids was there running around. When I finally checked out using a credit card, they charge me a service fee of 3.5% for using a credit card. I've never experienced a service fee before. The pedicure was 25 and the gel manicure was 30 plus charge for OPI and service fee!!! read more
