This place isn't bad at all. It's right next to the outdoors ice skating rink (and I believe you can rent skates there too). The burgers are served on their side in a container a la "in-n- out". The thick patties are cooked medium rare, pinkish in the middle. I'd categorize it as above average in quality and corresponds with their prices. The parmesan truffle fries are totally worth it. The truffle fries were to die for here and came in such a huge quantity you could definitely share. I tried a sweet potato fry as well - really tasty! I had the tuna burger. It was really tasty - very fresh and light. I wish there was more sauce on it...it had a little zing but I felt like it could use a bit more to make it really flavorful. The service was very quick and the milkshake was super tasty. I liked sitting outside watching the kids play putt-putt while we ate. With the great summer weather in Aspen I could sit out there all day! The meal was a bit on the pricey side though. Good location in the center of town and right across the bus station. Close the slopes (block away) and a couple of hotels in town. Has an ice skating rink during the winter and a kids playground and mini golf during the summer. Family friendly, and good place to bring small kids especially as they wont be bored. The burgers are OK tasting, nothing special really. Portion size is a little on the small size. A little pricey compared to what you can get just down the street. read more

Had a great late lunch here! I thought it was really creative of them to use "celebrity" names for the orders, seemed to make everyone smile when "Ryan Seacrest" was paged for their burger. There was a good variety on the menu, and the service was quick and the food tasted very fresh. I had a chicken burger and the sweet potato fries, and the fries were cooked perfectly. Great to have burger joint in town, and one that you could almost compare to In-N-Out Burger!! The burger is really tasty. the sauce has a lot of flavor. The fries are really good as well. They have Parmesan fries that are really good. For Aspen this place is actually kind of affordable a simple burger around $6 add fries and drink and tax, maybe around $10 to $12 depending on what fries you get. They also serve alcohol! CP Burger is delicious! It definitely is a gourmet burger joint that has a laid back vibe-- they don't take themselves too seriously with you can see with the order names they assign each customer [i.e. Hilary Clinton, Eddie Murphy, etc] You will be happy ordering as much or as little as you want, as everything is packed with flavor. The truffle fries are fantastic, and Kale salad [a popular dish in Aspen] is light and yummy. I wish I was only a few months older so I could try their spiked milkshakes! Also ordered a milk shake bc everyone else was doing it too and since I like jumping off bridges I decided to try the Oreo milkshake. Summit burger is crazy good. That, truffle fries, and the coffee milkshake with heath bar bits make one hell of a meal. Burger is small, and won't fill you up by itself. Definitely get the combo. This place is trying to be like In-and-out, Five Guys, Epic Burger, etc...but they are far from it. I was excited to give this place a try, but the food was terrible. My burger was over cooked and had very little flavor. And they decided to make my spiked milkshake with butter pecan ice cream, but they didn't blend it enough to crush the pecans, so it was undrinkable through the straw. Located next to the mini golf and in the heart of Aspen. Really yummmy burgers and shakes. They have good fries. The orders are given celebrity names instead of numbers which is fun. This was a burger place I always recommended and after yesterday's preparation of a double cheeseburger and a veggie burger, I will never visit again. Through the years, it has always been somewhat inconsistent in quality, but never this bad! The doube cheeseburger consisted of two thick somewhat round lumps plopped on a tiny probably day old, stale bun. The veggie burger was first delivered in the same manner - - dry, hard and overcooked - something one could not attempt to eat. Sent it back, explaining my disappointment. Another what seemed like a pre-cooked lump was placed in the same bun that was originally served as a whole wheat bun. Arriving home, I took three bites while the bread crumbled away from the burger. The burger wasn't worth finishing even without a bun. Who knows if these are new owners or just owners who could care less about the product served to the public? Prices had also risen since our last visit. This is no longer a quick place to get decent priced food. Makes one wonder if this is the same type of quality one receives from their other Aspen restaurants: Wild Fig, Steakhouse No. 316 and The Monarch? read more

We were very unhappy with our meal at CP Burger. We decided to pick up some burgers and take them back to our hotel in Snowmass Village. We ordered two regular burgers, a chicken burger, and a fallafel burger. We were greatly disappointed when we got to the hotel 30 minutes later. The two regular burgers were rare -- very pink. BEWARE! I wish i could give 0 stars. I ordered 4 CP burgers and fries. Well over $50 in food. Beyond the fact the burgers were way overpriced for the quality...2 of them were RAW...dripping with blood. I took them back to the counter and asked for the burgers to be replaced or refunded. I was appalled by the way she treated me. As if i was trying to pull one over on her. Instead of replacing them she put the 1\4 eaten burgers back on the grill then put them back on the blood soaked buns..GROSS!!! I really expected more from a restaurant in Aspen. I couldn't believe they took food that customers had already bit into, back into the kitchen area with the corona virus outbreak. They disassembled and then reassembled the burgers on the same surface that they were preparing other customers food. I wont even begin to talk about the flies congregating in the kitchen area. This restaurant is definitely not taking any precautions to keep our community safe. We just left the burgers on the table and left the restaurant. Worst burger experience EVER. read more
