This place (Ball State Village shop) and it's staff are incredible! For the second time in as many months I've needed my iPhone 6 repaired. The first time it was extensive, including water damage and screen replacement, yet they had it done in less than 24 hours and the cost was SO much less than I anticipated and certainly lower than any quotes i'd gotten from other repair facilities. Today, I took it in again for a battery issue. Tanner, as well as service tech Zach, had it fixed in under 15 minutes and AGAIN, so much less than anticipated. These guys get the idea that honesty, quality work and outstanding customer service is the key to a long lasting and valued business. They WILL be my one and only go to shop. RIP OFF! They were asked to clean a phone's ports ($20), and called several hours later to inform us that the charging port needed replaced. ($40!) Oh, by the way, if we just so happen to break your screen during the replacement it'll cost you $150 to replace that. (Why exactly should it cost ME again?) Hey, guess who called a few hours later, right before they closed to tell us that not only did they break the screen, rendering the phone unusable, BUT they also didn't have the replacement part in stock! Neat, right? This left my husband, who drives an hour one way to and from work every day, without a phone. Don't worry though, guys, because they agreed to fix the phone that they broke for only $120! Will NEVER return here! read more

This place is Awesome!! Very knowledgeable and customer service oriented! When you shatter the screen on you phone, tablet or any other electronics just take it to them..... If they cant fix it nobody can!! Very reasonable prices as well!! Also keep in mind that if you have any old electronics laying around and you need to safely dispose of them, just drop them off to MD Tekk and we can save that stuff from clogging up our land fills!! I came in after already trying to clean out my charger port many times before, but it never worked and i had to use a charging pad instead. Once that broke, i decided to get the phone fixed. I told the man behind the counter that there was no way it was just packed full of lint, it was actually broken. He proved me wrong in 5 minutes and we didn't have to pay a dime! Guy named Zack was extremely helpful in letting me know I had the wrong location, but he helped me resolve my problem without even having to go back to MDtekk for the 100th time this year, and it is only April.
