I am writing this review before I actually have had a chance to experience service firsthand from this place. I went the other day to have my iPad looked at at the suggestion of Verizon since they wouldn't work on my iPad, even though they sold it to me, long story there. They suggested one company or this company. And the location of this company first caught my attention. So I went and I found them and it was very easy to fine which I appreciate it. The reason I'm writing this review and why I will be going back to take my iPad to this place is I was so very impressed with how while the gentleman was busy after coming back from his lunch and was slammed by people waiting for him after coming back from lunch, he took time to give his time we're in a situation where I don't think he was even going to charge the fella with a gentleman that had had a situation where his granddaughter had been playing on his phone and had basically made his phone unusable, and the person working and I think as part owner of the store took the time to Help the gentleman just go through his phone and help him understand what to avoid and what to watch for without making the man feel stupid. He took the time to connect with envy in community with someone and not just worry about profit and I very much appreciated that and it will make me want to take my equipment to the person and feel like I'm dealing with somebody who is wanting to help and not just try and make money off of everybody. read more

I went to get my iPhone 11 fixed and they charged me 250. turns out they didn't fix the front camera so now i cant use my face ID. The side of the screen is popping out of the side of the phone, so i went back to see what they can do and they just wanted more money. read more

A couple weeks ago I had attempted to repair the screen on my cell phone after watching a couple of you tube videos. Unfortunately I received the replacement glass but no screen. Needless to say I took apart my phone and though I could just replace the glass. Ugh! I didn't have the time or the patience to mess with it, and I would have needed the housing and more parts and couldn't wait for them to get here since I was leaving out of town on business in 2 days. I called CR Cell Phone Repair and spoke to the manager and explained the situation. He (Kitty I believe his name was) mentioned that if I got it in there by 7:30pm they would be able to get it done (I have an iPhone 6+). Well things came up and I wasn't able to get there until about 8:30pm and he was already gone. I spoke to the girls behind the counter, both were very friendly and welcoming. The tech I spoke to explained to me that one of the parts I took apart had 4 screws and that 3 of them were in all different sizes. (Something that the you tube videos I watched failed to mention). She said that Kitty would be in the morning and that she would rather have him take care of it since he's better experienced with my type of phone. Now other places I have worked with in the past would just go ahead and attempt to fix it without even knowing about those screws. I appreciate the honesty in wanting to do it right, and the understanding of my urgency. I sent my wife to pick up my phone since I was just loaded with work and when she came back not only did they fix it my phone they even included a high end screen protector at no charge. I found the service more than capable, efficient, friendly, knowledgeable and very communicative. Everyone I have spoken with and/or have met have all been great! My husband has a Samsung 8 phone with a battery that was starting to show wear. We went here to get a NEW battery. We asked if it was a brand new battery and they said yes. After waiting over 4 hours for the repair, we got his phone back and it was worse than before we switched batteries. We contacted them and they said we could have gotten a bad battery so they would return it for us. We went to the cell phone repair place OUTSIDE Lindale Mall and had it replaced (works great now!) They gave us the battery to return and it was not a Samsung battery and it was very used. Attached is a picture. Then they only refunded half our money due to labor charges. DO NOT GET ANYTHING FIXED HERE!!! Go to the cell phone repair shop OUTSIDE Lindale Mall instead! These people are con artists! read more

I took a water damaged iPhone 4s to their 1st Avenue location and while the customer service and turnaround time were acceptable the quality of the work was not. Yes, the phone worked again, but it was obvious that the replacement parts they used were of low quality as was the reassembly of the unit. My phone has never been the same since. 1: The LCD and digitizer assembly is not flush with the outside bezel and home button causing some distortion around the top, right edges of the screen. 2: The screen has refresh rate problems causing fine horizontal lines to appear and disappear throughout use. 3: The screen is noticeably darker than my friends iPhone 4s screens 4: The screen is noticeably less oleophobic than an OEM screen A pleasant email and phone message about these problems went unanswered. Conclusion: In my haste to get my phone back to normal I neglected to inquire about the use of quality OEM parts. A quick search online will show how flooded the market is with cut-rate suppliers that claim to have original equipment parts for bargain prices but few offer components that can match or exceed original quality standards. Either make sure whoever is doing the work is using high quality parts or don't be a cheapskate and purchase the Apple Care warranty. read more

If I could I would give this place a 0 star. It took me 3 trips to try and get my screen fixed and the last time all I had was a broken phone. I wasted 8 plus hours and 3 trips to find out that I would have been time ahead to go purchase a new phone. I got the run around a lot! The second time that I took the phone in, they said to give them 1-4 hours. I went back after 3 and they hadn't even started on my phone, "We were slammed from Saturday" Um... Really? Customer service was horrid. Employees weren't trained. I would not recommend taking an android or ANY phone to this place read more

I dropped my phone down a flight of stairs and the screen popped out in the corner and shattered. This place fixed it with no problem and it only took a couple of hours which was fine because they are in Lindale Mall and I had plenty of Christmas shopping to do. The employee at the counter (Lexy) was super friendly and helpful. Reasonably priced too! I would definitely take my phone here again. read more

I would give them 1 star but they seemed to be willing to fix their mistakes. I paid a boat load of money for a galaxy s7 edge screen replacement. It took a long time for them to order it. When it came, the tech that swapped it out broke the charging port, so I had several days on my old phone waiting while they ordered that part. After it finally came in, when I picked the phone up the tech informed that he lost my sim card and I had to wait another hour at Verizon to get a new one. I quickly discovered that the screen had dead spots swiping, and the handset speaker wasn't their (couldn't hear anything on phone callsl). Took it back and they agreed to fix both problems. Two weeks later they finally got the parts and fixed it. But the second screen also has dead spots swiping. Bottom line, take your phone somewhere else. read more

If I could I'd give it 4.5 stars, I'll give it 5 stars because they do great work. Took my phone to the Apple Store but they wouldn't fix it since the frame was slightly bent. This store did it no problem. My only thing is that after a couple of days something didn't look right at the bottom of the LCD. It seemed like something that could easily be fixed no problem, but since I had put a screen protecter, it voided my 30 day warranty. They said I'd have to replace the whole screen which seemed completely unnecessary. Had I not put the screen on, it would've been good to repair. Just wait it out a couple of days if you get something fixed. But other than that, I recommend it read more

I had a broken screen replaced on a Samsung Galaxy S4 on a Saturday afternoon. There seemed to be no issues except for tiny, almost unnoticeable air bubble. But that was fine, paying $100 was cheaper than US Cellular replacing it for $350 (phone was not nearly up to get a new one). Five days later (today), I woke up and my phone slid off my bed onto my carpeted floor, no big deal. Picked it up and the screen was completely cracked again. Now, I understand that a phone doesn't have to drop on a hard surface to crack, but this seemed absolutely ridiculous. And too coincidental that it was just repaired 5 days ago. I went to the kiosk at Lindale Mall to speak with a manager and was informed that there is a 30 day warranty BUT that doesn't include drops or water damage. I inquired what if it was improperly fixed the first time, because it should not crack that easily. He basically did not answer except to agree that it shouldn't crack that easily. He informed me that he could replace it again, this time for $75 instead of the $100. And also, the guy who does the glass repair wouldn't be there until tomorrow. I was infuriated. Not that I expected them to fix it for free, but what if it could have been their error? Too coincidental for it to happen 5 days later. Took my business elsewhere, and ended up paying a higher rate but at least got quality service and some straightforward answers. read more
