Food was absolutely DELICIOUS especially the garlic shrimp fried rice!!! However my problem is with the lack of customer service. I sent a private message regarding an issue with my order to which it was IGNORED! I gave opportunity to not go public with it because the food was good but being jipped on food & then to have your private message seen & not replied to upset me. I ordered the garlic shrimp fried rice & by ALL of the advertisement photos it's shown to have 4 good size shrimp on top. They also offer additional 6 shrimp add on, which I ordered since I was sharing this dish. Drive 30 minutes home to eat only to see that we only received 6 shrimp! 1 star for many reasons. #1 Young lady at the front was nice but wasn't very helpful for first time customers. #2 No bibs = no bueno. This is the messiest thing you can eat, what do you mean no bibs? Yikes, prepare to squirt shrimp juices all over your attire. #3 shrimps with heads on? Oh man,most of our bag was shrimp heads. Sadly. #4 You have to ask for everything. No bread sticks,no lemon. Nada. Ask for lemon because they won't just give them to you. Ask for bibs. Maybe they'll have some by then. Overall, my fiance paid $80 for 2 half corns, maybe a half sausage cut up and 17 shrimps with their heads in tact and 4 little potatos. Paid an additonal $7 for a 6oz cup of terrible sauce called hot af sauce. Wasn't even hot. Was just an oily substance. I came hungry so i had to sit down and eat it but wasn't very happy with thus business. Won't be back forsure. I was excited to try this place out since I enjoyed The Boiling Crab in the LA area. I figured I would give this place a shot, prices were very reasonable and the dining area is small but cute. I tried the #2 Special : The Shrimp Shabang, it was okay. I just didn't like the fact that there was way too much oil than flavor. Usually seafood boils contain lots of flavor especially with all the seasonings being combined. You could taste more oil than anything else. We got mild- "The Sampler" and medium- "Shrimp Shabang" and garlic noodles. Portion sizes are big! Plenty of leftovers!!! The two bags were seasoned well, lots of cayenne and/or paprika pepper in the medium sauce. The garlic noodles were ok. I would recommend the garlic noodles to be cooked with fresh garlic and less butter. Also, it is nice that they allow substitutions of the items. In the "Shrimp Shabang" substituted more sausage and no corn. Update the Clover online ordering app to give description of each item. I ordered "The Crab Bag" (to go) with medium heat. It consisted of one crab (two mid to small size leg clusters), two corn on the cob sections, lots of whole shrimp (mostly shrimp) and red potatoes, and sausage pieces all tripple bagged in their seasoned oil sauce. Overall, the taste and seasoning were very good! The heat level was perfect for me and it wasn't too salty. I was expecting the crab legs to be a little bigger and to get more than one crab, especially for the price ($61.18 out the door), but, I guess that's just how much stuff costs! Everything tasted good to me except for the "sausage". It tasted to me just like a plain beef hotdog. I would've liked something more flavorful like an Andouille (which would be more traditional Cajun style) and made from either chicken or pork. But, I'm a bit of a sausage snob! Lol I would return again if I get a craving for a boil. The staff were friendly and my order was ready on time. You can also order ahead using the "Clover" app. read more
