My husband and I came here a while back.. (it was a fairly new spot in Visalia that we hadn't tried). When we walked in the vibes seemed cool, only 2 busy tables. The music was a little unsettling for some time for the occasion and setting , but then switched to oldies, and that was nice! Haha the service was mediocre (seems like that most places lately) Food, we shared crab legs shrimp mussels sausage, potatoes with the recommended flavor. But the flavor was basic and really nothing special about it. It was definitely missing something. we unfortunately were both sick for the next 2 days (food poisoning **this was the only thing outside the norm that we ate). Love this place for some tasty seafood boils!!! Flavors are on point and you get a decent amount for the price. We usually get either mild or medium garlic butter, as they both still have a decent spice kick. Of course we get extra corn a a potatoes as well for a few more dollars. They offer a lot more in their menus but we usually stick to the snow crab legs and clams. Staff is always friendly and service is fast. Establishment is always clean and they also have a cute little handwashing station in the dining area! Dont get me wrong, it's good tasting food. The staff on the other hand very unprofessional And immature. I called ahead to place an order to pick up after work and was told 15mins. I arrive 20 mins later and I'm told it's 5 more minutes. Long story short, it hits the one hour mark and when I follow up the employee tells me not yet and checks a bag on the counter (two times) and says it wasn't that one. Could be that when we pulled up they were unloading huge batches of already made Cajun sauce and it took time to heat up. ‍ Anyway, once we got our food the taste was good but just wished there was more Cajun sauce and it was a little on the thick side. There was a decent selection of seafood, sausage, potatoes, corn on the cob, hard boiled eggs, etc. Sadly, the cajun seasoning was a little boring, but really good with lemon wedges & salt mixed in. I would really like something like a mix of all 3 spices together. The sausage pieces are small, not full links, so be aware. Eggs were perfectly boiled, fluffy, but not overdone. The decor was the greatest aspect of the restaurant while the food itself was mediocre. They were empty despite my party coming in for Friday lunch. The windows had some strange residue along the edges. The tables were preemptively covered and I would have preferred a fresher table cloth. We opted for combo 1 which was said to be for groups of 2-3. We chose one pound of headless shrimp, crawfish and clams. Each combo came with 2 sausage, corn and potatoes. We chose a medium spice level and stuck to the classic Cajun sauce. Our drinks and appetizers came out first and the seafood came out a few minutes afterwards. *Coronarita: a fun spin on the classic Margarita. The glass was generous and the drink itself wasn't too sweet. It was subtly citrusy and not too watered down. *Garlic Noodles with Cajun Sauce: the noodles had a slight chew and good savory flavor. However I wouldn't describe it as very garlicky or spiced. The noodles were on the drier side and I would have liked some of the actual Cajun sauce to give it more spiciness and moisture. *Combo 1: the medium spice had subtle heat and I would suggest the spicy level for those would want an actual kick. The shrimp were plump but on the blander side. The crawfish was similarly flavorless although the texture was bouncy. The clams were by far the best seafood item. They were plump, sweet and cleaned well. The included sides were overcooked and tough. Service was minimal and we were ignored after we placed our order. We had to wave down a server when we ran out of gloves. Personally I found the sides and drinks more memorable than the boil. The seafood wasn't the freshest and the sauces were forgettable. The combo didn't include enough food for the price so I would pass. While the clams were tasty, cleanliness and flavors should be worked on. read more

This is a long review lol but anyways I thought this place was okay. For starters, this is my first time here and I live by the Bay Area, so my hometown crab place is second to none. I ordered the 1LB snow crab with 1 piece corn, mild and the cajun flavoring with a side of "dynamite bread" I'll start with the pros of this food. The crab quality itself was perfect, every crab meat slid perfectly off of the shell. Not to mention it was seasoned like there was no tomorrow, the corn was amazing with the amount of seasoning added! Now the cons. Might be my fault for not knowing before hand, but I ordered the bread thinking it was garlic bread, it wasn't. It's bread that contains crab, cream cheese, and cheese by observing it. It was kind of mid, but take that with a grain of salt as I was disappointed it wasn't garlic bread. I doubt they weigh the bags because that was not 1LB. At my hometown, 1LB is 2 full snow crab legs. This was maybe 1 and 1/2, why did i not have all of the crab? Also, it's pretty spicy for the lowest option of spice. I am bad with spice, so having a spicy option as the lowest option is odd. Lastly, I'm not complaining but i don't know why there was green beans in my bag. The service was pretty good, the server was nice and the food came out relatively fast. I loved how all 3 of us each got our own scissors and shell cracker. And the sink is on the outside which is so helpful for quick access. Would I come back? Yeah if I'm craving seafood in Visalia. Do I think there could be room for improvement? Was told about this place by my sister and brother in law. Was not disappointed! Food was delicious and the flavor was exquisite! We got the boil with crawfish, shrimp, and Dungeness crab. It was fantastic! The mid spicy was pretty good but had a nice kick. If you can't handle hot I'd recommend doing the mild. I will go back and try some of their other dishes! I have been here a couple times, and have enjoyed my food and service! Because of that we decided to have my daughter's birthday dinner here. We were given a brand new server. I understand that new servers need experience, but if they do not know the menu, or how to input orders or just service in general, throwing them on a party of 14 is just poor planning, and not a good training strategy. Needless to say family that had never been were met with "I don't know" every time they had a question about menu items". The amount of times we had to get up from our seats to ask for refills, missing items etc was disappointing. My husband and I shared the most expensive combo, and the lobster tails were over cooked and extremely dry and chewy. When your plate is $120, I would expect that the food should be worth the price. The staff and gentleman that seemed to be the manager seemed overwhelmed (they were packed and busy) and treated us almost like an inconvenience. Normally when we have been its pretty slow inside, we always had great food and attentive service. The popularity that they have gained has caused the service and quality of food to suffer immensely. This is so disappointing as we were so excited to share this spot with our family who were unimpressed and wont be coming back. As someone who frequently visits, I can possibly overlook all of those things and chop it up to a bad night, until we paid our bill. We had separate checks and made sire to be specific with the server who was on what tab. When we went to pay the items were not correctly split up, and family members were saying "this item was not mine" and they were told by assume the gentleman that was the manager that the HAD to pay for items they did not order and could just ask the people who had the items to pay them back! In what world is it ok to force people to pay for other guests items and make it our job to collect the money?? He stated that they could not adjust the bills once one person paid. So we were all forced to pay for items we did not order and he shrugged his shoulders, said the server was new and did not care. He actually seemed annoyed that were upset that we were being forced to pay for the wrong items. My impression was that they are so busy now that they dont feel the need to cater to and give quality service and food to customers. Understand that people will not continue to come of their experience is bad and the food is not quality. You lost 14 customers in that short amount of time and its a shame you did not care. read more

The food was bomb!!! Spices were great, exactly what I ordered and expected. The shrimp was not glued to the skin so that says a lot in how they cook their shrimps. Corn was not so great, potatoes were good. And the mussels were perfectly cooked... delish!!! The ambiance is fast paste due to it being opened a few days. If you plan in showing up during rush hours plan in waiting for a good 30-60 minutes. Otherwise we were seated with in 5 minutes and served with in 30 minutes. This place is so good and great customer service. Still new so you can tell they are still trying to catch a rhythm. Manager actually took his time to converse with customers, we learned a few things about the location and how they started up...They do offer bibs and gloves and they also have a washing station. The location is medium size so you only see tables that will seat 4-6 people unless they combine tables and that could take a longer wait time.
