I love Crab99. They seem like a place that take pride in the food they serve so its always prepared to perfection. No overdone or died seafood like them other places. Now when I first walked in I found the space to be very small until they are ready to seat you then you see the additional space that extends in the back. However the fully make use of there space. The staff is friendly. The vibe was nice music that plays but not to make it feel like a club atmosphere but a date night vibe.

This was my first time eating at Crab99 and not sure I'll come back due to feeling that the food may have not been prepared 100% correctly. I stopped by on a Friday the minute it opened at 11 or noon and there was maybe 3 parties there in the back. We had to wait until our full party of 8 arrived to be seated which is standard everywhere. The restaurant was clean and the staff was very nice, however when the food arrived (everyone got seafood boil) my colleagues asked for theirs to be sent back because the food wasn't hot, like there was no steam coming out the bowl. The waitress kindly did take it back and the food was warmed up but to serve not hot seafood, is iffy. My food was lukewarm and afterwards my stomach was slightly hurting but the flavors were delicious and I'm glad I didn't get food poisoning or anything.

Came to celebrate a birthday. You're entire needs to be present before they seat you and they do not accept same day reservations so plan ahead. It's small inside but I'm told there is a basement area (I did not see it or need to use the restrooms) It's located downtown and parking is always an issue downtown. With construction? It's worst so prepare for that. I was able to find street parking a short walk away. The music is loud but they are jamming if you like old school R&B. The staff was friendly enough. The candy apple drink was missing the alcohol (just kidding ..or am I)? I'm a lightweight and didn't taste or feel a twinkle in my eye. It tastes like a piece of candy. Very sweet !! The oysters are decent. Good flavor! Bang Bang shrimp was like tempura style. So more breaded and not much shrimp. It was ok. The catfish was good. Well seasoned and fried hard. The fries are great! You get a sample of jalapeño coleslaw (literally a sample) but that's not bad wish there was more. All and all, it's not bad and you should give it a try for yourself.

Fantastic! Great prices for the amount of food. Got half order of crab and shrimp combo, came with 2 corn and 2 potatoes. Cajun seasoning with garlic butter. Got it spicy, and yeah, it's spicy but not overly. Easily enough to feed 2 people. My buddy got creole pasta..Amazing. Great service, they give you everything including rubber gloves cause it's messy! Definitely go there!

Very good food. Make sure that your entire party is present if you have a reservation. It's stated that there are no exceptions, but they were very nice about us waiting for the last member of the party. I got the shrimp/crawfish combo in medium with the boiling sauce and I was pretty pleased with it. It was my birthday dinner and I'm already planning what I'm gonna a get for the next outing

Bitter. That is too much butter for a lobster roll.

Food was terrible. I had a lobster roll and it was awful. Dry. The fries were cold. No one at the table would come again. I asked for butter and they gave me almost a cup of butter. I suggest not using bread for po'boys for lobster rolls. Will not come back nor bring my sons here.

Honestly this is one of the best seafood spots that I have been to. I was here for a huge conference and I see why the word got out quickly about Crab99. By the time we made it, there was a huge crowd of people waiting to be seated. It took us 45 minutes to be seated, but once we were the service was great and we received our food pretty quickly. The ambience is super casual. The music playing, people dancing, the bar is lively, etc. The service was really great as well. Every staff member we encountered that day was very pleasant. Now on to the food! Yummy! Literally one of the best if not the best seafood boil I've had. The sauce, size of the crab legs, lobster, and shrimp, etc. I truly enjoyed. Plus, they give you so much! I created my own bowl, so everything was priced separately. Loved it!

Easily one of my new favorite places in Indy!! It's much more affordable compared to the other seafood restaurants in the city. Friendly customer service and fast!! It was our first time here, but definitely won't be our last! I can't stop talking about this place!!

I was actually Surprised at the quality and taste of the food. This isn't some thrown together seafood. i got the boil bowls. glad the switched from the bags. i saw another review about that and they now serve in metal bowls! 10/10 experience would definitely come back.

Our server was good -- friendly & attentive. Food was okay, but it just wasn't a comfortable vibe. The music was very loud, which would've been okay maybe at night, but we were there at 1 pm for lunch and struggled to have a conversation over the blaring music. One of the guys who worked there was walking around with a gun on his hip -- it definitely didn't give off a safe or relaxed feel. If that's how it is in the middle of the day, I would not want to be there late night on a weekend. I ordered the spicy margarita. Usually, they're made with fresh jalapeño, but this one used pickled jalapeños, which gave the drink an unpleasant pickly taste. I only finished half of it. The lobster roll was okay, but the lobster was a little overcooked & tough. Maybe that's why they felt the need to chop it all into tiny bits; I've never had a lobster roll served that way before. The seasoning on the Cajun fries was great, but the fries were mostly limp & soggy. If the fries had been crispy, they would've been amazing. Basically, this is not the atmosphere I'm looking for from either a lunch spot or a sports bar. The cocktails were not great (My husband was not impressed with his mojito, either.), and the food was just okay.

10/10 ! Came here on a Saturday for drinks and ending splitting a crab/ shrimp combo with my girls. It was so much food and so delicious. The combo was about $50 but was enough for me and my 2 friends. I also took some home. The combo included 2 corns and potatoes. One of the best seafood boils I've had in Indy. We were greeted and seated quickly. We decided to sit at the bar due to a 25 minute wait. The best decision of the night. Our Bartender Don was thee Best ! As busy as this place was she was efficient, attentive , and very personable. The drinks was fire ! This is definitely one of my favorite spots now. Come here for drinks , and food is great. Oh the playlist was on point. Get the Henny Margarita

Look, my husband and I love seafood boils and Crab99 is one of the best in the city! The crab legs, shrimp, and crawfish are so tasty and fresh. The mix of all the sauces are just the right amount of flavor. 4 stars only because the frozen drinks tasted like water and it felt like there was no AC in the restaurant. Other than that, we will be back!

There was a sign in front of the business pointing you to turn down a steer for parking; next block there is a huge parking lot but no signs saying you can park there for fowling, BUT, it was abundantly marked that cars will be towed. Since there was nothing else around, I assumed it was the right place and parked. Of course I briskly walked to fowling to inquire if I was in the correct space. I was, whew. Those towers can really work fast. Fowling is in a warehouse with other businesses, hence the name. It is huge. We were on lane 32, I believe so there's at least 32 lanes. There is also a corn hole area. There is a bar where they have a decent variety of adult beverages. I went with 3 Floyd's warpig, a hazy ipa. It was really good. The important aspect of fowling is not eating or drinking there, but to interact with the people your with. Sure you can win a game, but the fun is the game itself and the camaraderie with a drink. Our leader looked up the rules prior and explained them. You take turns throwing a football at bowling pins, one set of pins on each end of the lane. There are two lines to throw from, our group guys threw from back and women from front. I watched a group next to us, both men and women threw from front line, it didn't appear to give anyone an advantage. I don't know if the pizza place is part of fowling or a separate business, but we got pizza from Bonk Pizza. It was ok, it was enough to say we were fed. I'm glad I did this and would go again.

Fowling (noun) fowl-ing: The hunting or trapping of wildfowl…read more Google "fowling definition" and this is what you'll find. Google simply "fowling" and you learn about this odd sport where you combine football and bowling. Just now. Right NOW as I'm writing this, the word fowling finally made (sort of) sense. Football + bowling = fowling. Now I'm even pronouncing the word different with a long "o" sound versus the "ou" diphthong. I had to Google that, too, but once I saw diphthong, I knew it was going in my review. You're welcome for the 5th grade grammar lesson. Please redeem your Pizza Hut personal pan pizza for your hard work. Ok, fowling. It has nothing to do with trapping birds or teaching birds of prey to land on your arm (that's falconry). Nope, it's a game you play with friends and beer. The setup is more like cornhole, but you use bowling pins and throw, that's right, a football. Someone was clearly drunk when this game was invented. But what a great way to bring a group of people together! The Fowling Warehouse specializes in the game of fowling, but has several other activities to enjoy as a group: pool, darts, a few arcade games and a golf simulator. I may go back just for the golf simulator. This is the real deal, a full Trackman set up. It was pretty sweet. Those simulators can be a little intimidating at the PGA Superstore, but it's tucked away in the corner at the Fowling Warehouse where you can shank balls and not feel like a fool. Mostly. There are also two bars and you can order pizza and boneless wings. The bar has a nice selection of beers on tap. They use the magnet cup system where the cup fills from the bottom. My favorite thing was seeing multiple signs on the bar that warn you that if you push the bottom of the cup, you will get wet! And I smiled devilishly thinking about curious people testing their luck with the cups and losing every time. For me, I enjoyed a couple glasses of this blood orange IPA. Delicious and refreshing. The Fowling Warehouse isn't exactly my jam, but I think it's the kind of place that is perfect for a certain crowd who enjoys games and likes a new challenge. And they can handle a large party! If you are looking to try a new sport that feels like it was invented by someone who lost a bet, this place is for you! I kid, but the Warehouse is nice and clean and large! The service was good and everyone seemed to have a great time. Seems like a pretty good spot for your next party if games are your thing! Please note: No birds were injured during the writing of this review.

We complimented it, asked where they found it, and before we knew it, we were chatting with a wonderful couple who had traveled all the way from overseas just to watch Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever play that night. Moments like that are one of the reasons I love Indianapolis on game days. The patio was the perfect place to soak it all in. Fever fans filled the sidewalks, kids proudly carried homemade signs, and there was an excitement in the air that only comes from a city rallying behind its team. We could have people-watched for hours. Our waitress was exactly what every server should strive to be. Friendly, relaxed, and genuinely fun to talk to, she somehow mastered the art of appearing right before we found ourselves looking around for her. We never felt rushed, but we also never waited for anything. The food held up its end of the bargain too. The fried mozzarella disappeared embarrassingly fast and earned a solid 9.3 on my unofficial stretch meter. Crispy on the outside, perfectly gooey inside, with a marinara sauce that was every bit as good as the cheese itself. The chef salad was fresh, generously loaded with toppings, and easily big enough for a meal. I honestly couldn't tell you what beer I ordered... Because what I remember most is the experience. Sharing appetizers on a sunny patio, meeting fellow basketball fans from halfway around the world, and watching Indianapolis come alive before tipoff. It reminded me that sports have a funny way of turning complete strangers into friends. We'll absolutely be back the next time we're headed to Gainbridge.

Our server was friendly and responsive to one member of our group (male) but repeatedly didn't acknowledge another (female). This wasn't a one-time thing, it happened several times over the course of our visit, and it came across as dismissive. As for the drinks: beer prices were nice and cheap, but the margarita was on the expensive side and not really worth it. The place seems geared toward bigger dinner crowds, which may be why a two-person drinks-only table didn't get much attention, but being essentially ignored isn't a great look either way. We wouldn't return. 2/5.
