Twenty Tap deserves twenty stars! Inside is spacious, with the bar on one half and typical restaurant seating on the other half. There is also a small patio with some outdoor seating. Menu is great, with several options for dietary restrictions. I tried the chicken burrata sandwich and it was delicious! Fries were also very crispy. They have a variety of homemade sauces worth checking out. Service was a bit slow, but we weren't in a rush so that didn't matter. I just loved how the menu was much better than the typical pub-type food, and my chicken sandwich was amazing so I'm guessing most other things are tasty as well. Overall, very impressed with Twenty Tap!

What Just when we think we have dined at every restaurant in Sobro, we discover one we missed. Surrounded by other local favorites, Twenty Tap can easily blend into the strip, but I urge you to give it a try. We stopped in for dinner around 7 PM on a beautiful, sunny weeknight. Although we had to wait a little for a seat, they found us an outdoor table, which was perfect for people watching with all the busy restaurants nearby. The beer menu is impressive, with plenty of Indiana flavors alongside other great Midwest options. My husband and I shared the French breakfast burger and the Harissa Brussels sprouts, both dishes were so delicious that we've already made plans to return for more. The menu is full of options for flavor, not much for a picky eater so you should try somewhere else for your chicken stip fan. Overall, it was a great meal, with the only downside being the sticky table top.

Food was delightful. Picky 10 had her standard pretzel. Mr. 13 had a classic burger with fries. He enjoyed it. I had the French Breakfast burger. It was excellent. I thought it had just the right amount of brie. It wasn't too thick or overpowering. Hubs said his sticky chicken sandwich was one of the best he's ever had. I also tried the Draft Flamingo cocktail. It was bright and fresh with a nice strawberry flavor. I also tried their Bourbon Barrel stout, because I can't help myself! It was good. Not my favorite, but definitely worth ordering. Service was wonderful. I always appreciate a brewpub that allows children. It makes our choices so much easier. Ambiance is perfect for our family of four.

To dine here and not get a cup of soup in place of fries is to not dine here at all. With sheer delight do I survey the daily stew, chili, and liquidated grub options. It takes place prior to picking up the primary menu or, depending on the day, greeting my friends. On the best nights it's a moral dilemma and split decision amongst the party as for what gets the nod. One of those "we may both be right" moments. My other must is an arrival of 5:55-5:58 to ensure the first beer is discounted. Remember kids, the early bird gets the worm! Twenty Tap is a simple spot. I like simple spots. The menu dwells in that crevice of filling and fulfilling. Like my "Soup of the Day" affinity, the entree often follows in its waywardness. Options don't overwhelm, yet they do enough to disrupt your post-work mental fog in the ever sensual allure of menu marauding. I'd not defend this spot with vengeance. I will speak kindly about it to you all. Come try 'er out.

Inside wasn't anything too special. Was extremely busy because it was nice weather. Ended up getting seated after 30m wait. Waiter was very nice and attentive. We got a pretzel and burgers. Pretzel was delicious, we enjoyed eating the cheese sauce provided. The burgers were nothing tooooo special for the price. I made my own burger so it could have been my own fault haha. Probably won't be going back unless we are going for the cheese curds (was highly recommended by a peer of mine) because I have more preferred burger places in Broad Ripple and Indianapolis.

After searching high and low for Indy's best cheese curds, we landed here and I'm glad we did! We started off with the cheese curds, we were indecisive about which two sauces would go best with the curds so we ordered five of them... for my entree I ordered the angus khan burger which was very tasty! In all, I can't wait to go back, I enjoyed the food and staff!

This place is so solid. Food is always great. Good selection of beers. Service is consistent. Clean and comfortable. Every time I eat here I wonder why I don't eat here more often.

First time at Twenty Tap today. The cheese curds were the best in town. We also had the Wrath burger and the Adobo Chicken bowl. The Wrath was alright and the Adobo Chicken bowl was so salty, i needed a refill on my water. It was a nice, different vibe in the restaurant. Nothing to write home about personally. Everyone was very nice, but wasn't our cup of tea. Get the cheese curds though. No regrets there.

My family came here long ago and I just thought it was ok but I decided to give it another try mainly for the amount of vegetarian options and not to mention the beer options. My father was in town and has been vegetarian for over 50 years and gets tired of the same veggie burger and tofu dishes. The outside seating area was full when we walked up but when you get inside there is a bar area over to left and space on the right that has a good amount of booths. For appetizers we ordered the cheese curds and edamame. The curds came with 2 sauces of your choosing we got chipotle and a horseradish and both were saved to dip our fries in. The edamame was delicious it had a flavorful chili oil spice that was amazing. For our main dishes we ordered chicken sandwiches and the mushroom Reuben which will be my go to sandwich when I come back.

It had been a good while since I last went to Twenty Tap. And I wish I had come back sooner. Great service, awesome food, fantastic beer selection. Comfortable family restaurant space and an inviting bar. What more could you want?

I love twenty tap for a casual beer and an absolutely killer chicken sandwich - my favorite thing on the menu. Both the Crispy Southern Chicken and the Sticky Chicken Sandwich are worth trying if you're into chicken sammies. The chicken is always juicy and tender with a crispy buttermilk crust deep fried to perfection. If you go sticky, you get a glaze of their house made sweet and spicy sauce and their wasabi slaw. The original chicken sandwich is dressed with a black pepper aioli and lettuce and tomato. Let me tell you, they pay attention to food details here because the bib lettuce is always fresh and the tomato slices are deliciously ripe and the sandwich is perfectly constructed so you get some of everything in every bite. French fries are always a solid side choice, but their house made soups are also very good! They have a nice variety of vegetarian and vegan dishes as well, which can be more difficult to find in Indy. So I always bring my vegetarian out of town friends here! As the name suggests, they have many beers on tap, and if you were ever a fan of Brugge's Tripel de Rippel, I highly suggest ordering the Twenty Below Tripel if it's on tap. All of their house made beers are very good if a Belgian beer is not your thing. If you catch a great day of weather get there early and get a covered patio table!

Called at 6 and got a reservation for 8, for 5 of us on a Saturday night. This is kind of an anomaly for any restaurants off Mass Ave. We were seated right away and started with drinks and apps. We got "Disco Boys" and "I'm too pretty for this" cocktails which were tasty - kudos for the fun cocktail names. Calamari, Artisan, and Charcuterie came shortly after. There's a few different options of cheeses and meats, it's sort of a choose your own adventure situation. All were good, especially the calamari. A lot of restaurants tend to overcook it and the calamari gets rubbery, not the case here. Our entrees came out next and I made sure to try a bite of everyone's LOL. The standout of all the entrees was definitely the "Duck, duck" which was, obviously, duck. The runner up would definitely have to be the chicken cacciatore. Overall, really great ambiance, food, and service. I would highly recommend Union 50 if you're looking for something fancy, but not too fancy. It had been before the pandemic since my last time in Indianapolis and much has changed on the city's dining and drinking landscape. Following a recommendation from a bartender at Sundry & Vice, I made my way to BODHI. I didn't have reservations, which I'd strongly recommend, since the place was packed on Wednesday night before 6PM. Fortunately, I was able to snag a seat at the bar, which was ideal since I was dining solo. Upon scanning the hip, high-energy, yet petite dining room, I had a sense of deja vu about it before realizing that I had been in this space before back when it was Black Market. I started off with a cocktail from Bodhi's intriguing and expansive drink list, a 7 Realms of Happiness, made with Old Hamer Bourbon, Faccia Brutto Centerbe, Cappelletti amaro, saffron honey, and lemon. My thought was that it's their twist on a classic Whiskey Smash. It was bittersweet, yet balanced, and simply a delight. As for the food, BODHI's menu is concise hitting the most of the Thai food usual suspects. I had the Papaya Salad and the Shrimp Green Curry. The papaya salad came out first. I was pleasantly surprised by its plating, looking much more like an elaborate entree with its cashews, watermelon radish, and chicharrones than the humble side salad atop a leaf of lettuce or cabbage that I've usually received at virtually every Thai restaurant I've ever been. It was just a pretty plate as it tasted even better than it looked. It was fresh and flavorful as those flavors popped from the perfect balance of salty, sweet, sour, spicy, and funky. It was the best rendition of a papaya salad that I've tasted. My bowl of curry was no less successful in balancing those diverse Thai flavor profiles. Unlike some/many other curries I've had where it seems like a bowl full of sauce with bits and pieces of protein or vegetables, Bodhi's rendition achieved the perfect "solids to sauce" ratio. The shrimp were cooked to perfection and the curry itself was bold and bright on my tongue. It was a delicious spoonful. I loved it! For "dessert", I had a second cocktail, the Garnet, a booze-forward whisky drink made with Mars Iwai Tradition, Pinhook Rye, Akashi Ume Plum whisky, Veda Mushroom Liqueur, Balsamic Vermouth, celery & orange bitters, and topped with a Moon Smoke Bubble. It was very unique, tasty and satisfying, if not a bit difficult to describe. I would maybe compare it to an Asian-influenced Vieux Carre and I thought it was excellent. Service from Carli, the bartender, was stellar throughout my night as she was friendly, helpful and exceedingly outstanding in making my drinks. A definite rock star! BODHI was outstanding. I'm not sure how to best describe the place. Was it as an amazing Thai restaurant that also does incredible cocktails or an amazing cocktail bar that also does killer Thai food? Regardless, I could not have enjoyed my experience more. If/when I'm back in Indy, BODHI is at the top of my list for a visit!

The Korean salmon is equally impressive. The fish arrives flaky and moist with a richly glazed crust that carries sweet, spicy, and umami notes in perfect proportion. We complimented it, asked where they found it, and before we knew it, we were chatting with a wonderful couple who had traveled all the way from overseas just to watch Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever play that night. Moments like that are one of the reasons I love Indianapolis on game days. The patio was the perfect place to soak it all in. Fever fans filled the sidewalks, kids proudly carried homemade signs, and there was an excitement in the air that only comes from a city rallying behind its team. We could have people-watched for hours. Our waitress was exactly what every server should strive to be. Friendly, relaxed, and genuinely fun to talk to, she somehow mastered the art of appearing right before we found ourselves looking around for her. We never felt rushed, but we also never waited for anything. The food held up its end of the bargain too. The fried mozzarella disappeared embarrassingly fast and earned a solid 9.3 on my unofficial stretch meter. Crispy on the outside, perfectly gooey inside, with a marinara sauce that was every bit as good as the cheese itself. The chef salad was fresh, generously loaded with toppings, and easily big enough for a meal. I honestly couldn't tell you what beer I ordered... Because what I remember most is the experience. The mussels were actively bad. The portion (an app) was pretty small. There was hardly any broth/wine and they weren't piping hot. Also, they were actually not tasty and the texture was rubbery. They remained in front of me, uncleared, even after I closed my tab. They did not smell good. I don't anticipate being sick but I do anticipate being hungry.
