A great spot not far from the airport. I found this spot after looking up top restaurants in Baltimore. I had been craving crabs and decided to give this place a try. Unfortunately they didn't have any blue crabs but they did not disappoint. Instead I went for steamers delight and the shrimp Brie. Wow!!! The shrimp Brie was a large shrimp wrapped in bacon. Can't go wrong with adding bacon lol. The steamers delight portion size was just right. Plenty of shrimp, potatoes and corn. To top it off the crab legs were full of meat. I will be back to try their crabs and will recommend this spot. read more

Crabtowne is the BEST kept secret in Glen Burnie. I read the reviews and had to personally experience Crabtowne for myself about a year ago and I am a regular almost every week. I can't say enough good things about this place! The ambiance was amazing--great music, sooo much fun playing the games, and good crowd. The food was great with generous portions and actually brought stuff home. Our waitress was so friendly too and was great with the kids! The drink were good and you can get beer pitchers, there's happy hour specials, plus they are always doing other random specials. I will say it was extremely crowded and they also sold out of blue crab after we placed our order--which things happen but I'd recommend getting there early to not have that happen if you're set on that. Also--this was pretty pricey (like most seafood in Anne Arundel county right now) so I'd recommend more for date night, special occasion unless you're getting something on special/happy hour (you're probably looking at at least $50/head if getting crab and drinks). Last, recommend bringing your own cash, otherwise you have to get "cash back" at the bar as they do not have an atm. The system works but the workers are already swamped enough. Awesome x1000! We've been sleeping on this place for years and finally went. Our family is a lover of all thing arcade and this place did not disappoint. We had so much fun playing all the great games and pinball machines. Ate a delicious lunch (menu is impressive!) and played some more. We were there for 5 hrs! After looking for a place to celebrate my birthday on a low key level, I asked my friend for suggestions on places where I could simply get drunk and play video games, so 10 year old Ericka could be proud of 30 year old Ericka. Everyone IMMEDIATELY told me about Crab Town USA and gave it high praise. Wanting to avoid the loud and lights that is Dave & Busters, I came here.... And instantly fell in love. Was warmly greeted by staff soon as I walked in. Told them it was my birthday and they instantly topped me off with a double whiskey/Pepsi. They explained their menu, video games, gambling systems and told me if I needed any help, to just bug them. Food was good, I had fried oysters that were huge and fresh along with some decent crinkle cut fries. Delicious. After playing some scratch offs and running some birthday lotto numbers, I spent the next hour in and out the arcade, playing pinball and classics like Streetfighter, The Simpsons and Super Mario Bros. Lived in DC 25yrs ago, and returning to the area for Thanksgiving '23, top of my list was to find a good place we could get a blue crab feast. My wife found this spot, thanks to yelp, and honestly, as much as I'd built it up in my mind, the food at this place exceeded my expectations. The crab was fantastic, and we ordered a bunch of other stuff, crab cakes, crab mac & cheese, hush puppies - we spent 2 1/2 hours just dining out and enjoying it. Fun atmosphere, played Keno while we ate, then some pac man and mortal kombat. Making future customers aware they have a 2 hour limit. That was posted only at the hostess stand. Not one time was it discussed with anyone in our party or at the time we spoke to them about accommodating our group of 20. Some of the group started getting checks and we were finishing up our drinks and food when a hostess was sent over to tell us we reached our 2 hour limit we were totally unaware of!!! Mind you there was open tables and no one waiting to be seated. so BEWARE they will take your money and ask you to leave immediately after. The food was not very good, for instance we ordered old bay wings that came out plain and we were handed old bay to shake on them! I will never return! read more

This place had a cool vibe and I have never set foot in side all the years I've lived in the area. We're still in the midst of "COVID Era" so masks on, tables spread out etc, but indoor and outdoor seating was available when we popped in. Our server was nice! This place is the BOMB!!! Imagine this.. dining room on the left, dining area on right and old-school arcade in the middle. It really doesn't get any better. Went on a Friday which happens to be raw oyster night. We had the best seat in the house near Eric; you go see him for your oysters. He gave us the history of the different types of oysters and didn't oyster shame us because it was our first try. We laughed and laughed with him and the other patrons until he got cleaned up to go. Not only was the staff amazing, if Yelp was meant to review patrons, I would. This place really felt like family; it's for children to great great grandparents. One gentleman even came over to assist my child with cracking her crabs, the hammer and the knife method is new to us; she was a hot mess!!! I hear stealing crab cracker are at an all time high! My favorites of the night: crab cake sandwich, crab legs, and that sweet tea. I enjoyed all my food but would probably would opt out of the seasoning on the crab legs .. I like my crab legs plain inside a butter bath (butter bath- when you get the crab meat to come out in one piece and you get to lay it down in the bath of butter lol) If you come here have time to spare. My connecting flight from BWI Airport to New York LaGuardia was cancelled because of weather, so I looked for somewhere for lunch. I found this restaurant on Yelp with four stars when I asked for "best crab cake", it came up as no. 3 on the list. I had already tried no. 2, so I took an Uber there. The restaurant on the outside looks slightly rundown, with half their sign broken (on the other side of the posted picture). The inside was warm and friendly. The waitress suggested the seafood medley which was six fried shrimp, a fried haddock filet and a crab cake, all which were locally caught. The dish also came with homemade French fries and cole slaw. I thought the fried shrimp were very good, and the fish filet was excellent. The crab cake was only so-so, the taste of the crab was not as intense as other crab cakes I have had. The fries were very tasty and the cole slaw was slightly sweet. There is an attached arcade with many pinball machines and older video games attached to the restaurant, but I took no photos of that. It was a nice respite during a miserable trip. This was a fun place! Went to meet another family for dinner and fun! We were told It would be a 45 minute wait on a Sunday but time flew and It was 20 minutes. We played lots of video games!!!! I finally made it to Crabtowne! Although my husband has been there several times, this was my first trip. We arrived around 6pm on a Friday night and the parking lot was full, so we decided to run some errands first and then come back. We made it back around 8pm and apparently the parking lot had not been full- there were tons of people parked very creatively, including on a grassy area behind the official spots. We found a spot and headed in. We got lucky and was offered a high top in the bar right away, and were told the wait for a normal table would be about 35 minutes. We took the high top. We didn't get a server to come by for about 15 minutes, but one of the women came to help us when she saw we hadn't been served yet. She apologized and said the other server probably didn't realize we were in their section. She was fantastic and one of the highlights of our dinner. We ordered the crab dip waffle fries, the mac & cheese burger, the shrimp tacos, iced teas, and a beer. The beer my husband wanted was out, so we ended up just sharing a beer. The crab dip fries came out fairly fast and was delicious, we annihilated it. Then we waited and waited and waited for our dinner. Like, 40 some minutes past our fries being finished. Our server was super apologetic. We ended up getting our food a little bit after that and it was good! The mac and cheese burger and fries were absolutely delicious. My shrimp tacos were pretty good- the shrimp themselves were tasty (although I wish there was one more shrimp in each taco to get the proportions right), the tacos were decent and fulfilled my craving. The sides (beans and rice) were forgettable, the rice didn't have any seasoning. After dinner, we hit up the arcade for some pinball, claw machines (one was clearly rigged, was not able to pick anything up, and the other had items getting stuck in the dispenser and not coming out), and old school classic games. This place is clearly a great choice for comfort food and our waitress was great. If I come back, I will probably try to come back during a less busy time, but overall we had a fantastic date night. read more

You're open at last!! From an ardent crab lover - these are the best crabs around. Priced at sixty something for a dozen mediums. Meaty and steamed perfectly, with a decent amount of spice - not overly salty, just right. LOVE it when you crack a claw and the meat just slides out, with it's steamed juices. Lots of that goldenish yellow mustard, scooping my fingers in there, as if it were the icing on a cake. Hot butter on the side - yes, please. Last time I visited this place I got pretty bad food poisoning from some oysters. I don't come here often, but I have been a few times before over the last 5 years. I noticed they were sold out of crabs so I thought I would be safe ordering seafood as it would be fresh from the amount of patrons. I was wrong, I actually only ate one oyster, which tasted off and decided not eat the rest of them. I also had shrimp and scallops but they tasted fine. I'm pretty sure the one oyster did it.. the aftermath was pretty bad. It was multiple hours of waterworks at both ends with heavy sweats Etc. I really wanted hush puppies. We started with the calamari appetizer ($11) which was a delicious! It was a nice amount and fried perfectly. We got the steamers delight basket ($20) which included snow crab legs, shrimp, potatoes and a few slices of onions along with a choice of side (broccoli). My fiance and I were visiting family in Maryland and decided to stop and have lunch at this lovely establishment during our little stroll around town. I am not a seafood lover compared to my fiance but I can say hands down this was the best seafood boil i've ever had. I find myself travelling through this area 2-3 times per year. Most of the time I have a mid-afternoon flight out of BWI and want to find somewhere to grab a bite before heading over to the airport. A few years ago, my wife, son, and I found this place on Yelp. We had a fabulous lunch. There is an old school arcade attached to the restaurant so you can play some classic games after eating. It was a blast. As a result, we have made this our little stopping place before heading to the airport. The food is good and reasonably priced for the quality. The atmosphere is a little like a hole in the wall/dive and very casual. It looks like this place has been here for years. Good place to grab a beer too. We will be back. read more

My friend was visiting from out of town so I was looking for a place where you can pick crabs and found Crabtowne USA. This place is amazing with quality, affordable food all across the menu. You can go for the all you can eat crabs but unless you're a real pro, it's more economical to just get individual crabs which you can't usually do at most restaurants. Oysters were reasonably priced and they even have a happy hour on Friday with $1 and cheaper oysters. Staff has been super friendly every time even when it gets very busy. Menu looked great, vibe was great, food was good and our server worked his ass off juggling what seemed like 10 tables.
