We love stopping at a Cracker Barrel whenever we can find one along our route. We found this one right off the highway just in time for lunch. I ordered the Fried Chicken dinner and my wife ordered the Chicken and Dumplings dinner. Both were fresh, hot and delicious. Also had fun shopping in the shop afterwards. They have so many unusual things.

Clearly states on the breakfast menu that fried chicken is an option.

I said this the last time I ate at a cracker barrel and I should've stuck to it! I will never ate at Cracker Barrel again. I thought because I was in a different city it would be a different experience, but yet again they disappoint. I ordered fried chicken and grits for breakfast and the waitress came back after a few minutes and said they don't serve fried chicken for breakfast. I asked her why it is on the menu and she said she didn't know. Never again. It's always something with this stupid company!

Visiting with my church. We called 2 weeks prior, the day before, and the day of, and the female manager in the yellow cardigan and blue shirt gave us a hard time since we apparently didn't reserve seats properly. Gave us major attitude. Half the tables got their drinks and food while the other half were still waiting to get drinks and silverware. I watched as 3 different managers stood around chatting with each other while waiters and even cooks were running around trying to serve the group. What's the point of a manager that won't help out at all? She kept checking her phone and leaning against the wall. For 3 tables of the 8, the got their food in record timing. The rest of us waited for 2 hours. 2 hours! We weren't even given silverware. One of us had to grab it from the stand. No answers or apologies

Driving back from North Carolina had to stop for brunch/dinner. As usual we stop at our go too place for a wonderful meal. We enjoy Cracker Barrel because you always get quality food for a good price. We had our standard meal Chicken Fried Steak and Country Fried Steak. Both of them were excellent and my wife had an extra crispy piece of Chicken to take home with her. The pinto beans and collards were spot on. I had the green beans and the Mac and cheese. They make the best southern green beans and I love them. Halie was our waitress and she was spot on the whole time. I really want to point out Alysia who was the greeter in the restaurant section. In between seating customers she was all over the restaurant wiping down tables so customers did not have to wait long times to be able to sit down and eat. Great job by her, she should be recognized by her boss.

I only get one meal here and that's the mamma pancakes with hashbrown casserole. Always fluffy and the perfect amount of butter.

The over medium eggs were literally like rubber and at room temp. All sides at room temp. as well. Waffle House does a better job than this.

The server greeted us and took our drink and asked if we'd like any appetizers. We got the Texas Tonion & the complimentary loaf of bread. Both were delicious. Out of all the steakhouses, I think this onion was a contender for our favorite. Not greasy at all and perfectly crispy in a tempura batter, plus you're not having to pull at the onion petals to get them loose from the base of the onion. The sauce is delicious too, your typical zesty fried onion dipping sauce (like a horseradish ketchup mayo mix) but we should've asked for a spare. For entrees I had the Outlaw Ribeye with the seasonal grilled corn and baked sweet potato. Everything was cooked to absolute perfection. The steak was well seasoned and perfectly tender and juicy. There was no gristle or tough/dry spots (I get mine medium rare) and the fat along the edge was perfectly charred but still juicy and melted in your mouth. The corn was succulent and seasoned well, topped with a delicious spiced Parmesan and crema. The baked sweet potato was amazing as well, with cinnamon sugar and butter. My favorite pairing with a fat juicy ribeye! My fiancé had the half pound steakhouse burger and fries and said it was cooked perfectly and had a great flavor. We did have to wait for his fries because they weren't done when the rest of our food was and had to ask our server, but she promptly brought them out and they were hot and fresh. For dessert, since we were celebrating our anniversary, we finished with the strawberry and cream shortcake. The restaurant is very clean, plenty of parking, and convenient to local hotels and shopping. It was busy but not too loud minus the usual screeching baby. It was my first time ever at Longhorn and we will be back!

I requested no bread, I still got bread, I had to put in a vehicle that I don't have in order to make a pickup order, I paid for it on the app, it asked me to tip on the app and I said no, then after picking up my food I had to sign a credit card receipt, with an option for a tip! I'm not a cheapskate, yeah I'll tip you if you're serving me at a table or the bar, but I'm not going to pay you guys extra money for me to pick up my own food. I'm so sick of this guilt tipping scheme these companies use. Besides, I tipped 40% last time I was there so that's that. On the app I requested no bread, because I didn't want to be tempted to eat it. When the girl brought my food out I put my hand on top of the bag that she tied into knots, which drives me crazy, and I felt the bread. I asked her if it was bread, she said yes, and I asked her to take it out and she also took the croutons out of my salad. So obviously I'm going for a low carb option, So I ordered the lemon garlic chicken, a Caesar salad, cuz it wouldn't let me pick asparagus like I could have if I sat down at the restaurant, and brussel sprouts. I ate a brussel sprout, it tastes sweet, and come to find out there's 27 g of sugar. Half of them are hard, they weren't roasted long enough, but it doesn't make a difference because I'm not going to eat them anyways. I ate a couple soft ones, and tossed the rest. The salad was a salad. Shaved parmesan on top, that was nice. The chicken was so-so. Kind of lackluster, but that's what I get for ordering chicken from a steakhouse, similar to how some hyper vegan would come in here, and write a bad review because they didn't have their boba smoothie. It was okay, but I personally wouldn't recommend getting anything else other than steak here. I was going to go for the salmon, but I didn't. Steak it is for me the next time I guess, or just maybe I'll pop back over to outback across the street. ***DISCLAIMER*** This pure, uncut, honest review is federally protected under Federal Law by way of Bill #EO14149. I was hoping to wave to the crazy lady on my way out but she had already left :-( didn't have my sammich until I got into Atlanta and unpacked. no longer hot or even warm but still moist and delicious with peppers and cheese and the bread was soft and pliable and folded along the crease so I could eat with one hand while searching for the Perry Mason channel with the other like a civilized person... alas, no PM on the TV so a quick shower and then some russian mafia action comedy until I got tired of being tired and went to sleep

If you've had…read moreBojangles before, and if you're eating here and reading this review, you're a victim of your own circumstance. This is my very first time ever eating at this place, and unless there is absolutely no other food options available wherever I am, and I am on the very Verge of utter starvation, it could quite possibly be the last. First off, I did a mobile order, and by the time I walked across the street, the nice girl was already boxing and bagging it. I only interacted with that one employee, but she was super nice. The restaurant was really clean, but I only spent about 2 minutes in it. As far as fast food chicken goes, in my opinion, Popeyes is the Pinnacle of fried chicken. And their sides are superior to that of other places. I sort of think that this place is trying to emulate popeyes, by their choice of sides, (similar to how that DUMP and joke of a burger place called five guys, which I have no idea how they're still in business because their food straight out sucks and it's overpriced) tries to emulate in and out. (but on side note, both places lack flavor and seasoning). I ordered a three piece, 2 thigh and one drumstick meal, with dirty rice and coleslaw as my sides. The dirty rice, especially compared to popeyes, just sucks straight ass. Super bland and unflavorful. The coleslaw, is typical slaw you get at a fast food joint. Reasonably priced at around $11, because if you paid any more, and you were like me, you would be very disappointed. The chicken, was cooked well, but just lacks flavor. I even used some Louisiana hot sauce on it per the norm, and I had a few packets of Cajun sparkle from Popeyes with me, that I put on the rice, along with my hot sauce, and it was mediocre at best. I can't blame the employees for the food quality and taste, because that's a corporate thing, but I will say hands down Popeyes destroys this place. And even KFC in my opinion is a lot better than this place. No complaints about service, just not my thing. At least I can say I tried it, and they tried, but it's just mind blowing how all these franchises are able to thrive with a lackluster product, especially in a very competitive market surrounded by multiple restaurants in the immediate area. Hopefully their loyal customer base never tries a different fried chicken joint. If the service and employees weren't so good, this would be more of a 1 1/2 star review. The food just really isn't all that great.

It's probably been 30+ years since I've been to a Sonny's which was back in Albany, I used to love it. Today was more like a "well it's ok". We walked in and were greeted quickly by a friendly host and seated in a nice booth. Another reviewer talked about the black walls and LED lights and yeah, that made for some lighting odd contrasts. The menu is large and there is a seasonal spring menu with some specials. Oddly I did not see prices on the seasonally menu, but that could have been the odd lighting. I ordered the seasonal brisket grilled cheese with fries, Megan had the sliced pork sandwich with a baked potato. The brisket grilled cheese was strangely bland. It is advertised as brisket in queso sauce between two slices of cheese on Texas toast. For all that cheese I didn't taste it much. I tried dipping it in each of four (original, smokey, spicy, and sweet) sauces. The sauce fully overwhelmed the sandwich. The fries were crinkle cut which is the only way to make a BBQ fry and they were near perfect. The pork had a kind of warmed over flavor to it, not bad, just ok. The potato came with a tube of sour cream and two pats of butter. Service was excellent and our waitress brought us new drinks to take with us. With more flavorful food I would eat here again.
