Was wanting a quick breakfast while in Orlando so I stopped in at CB which serves up some good and filling breakfasts at a reasonable price. They make the best pancakes with nice and crispy edges and light and fluffy on the inside so I knew that's what I wanted. Although I didn't get any this time, I'm a huge fan of their hash brown casserole and also their grits. I also love that you're able to get breakfast all day long at Cracker Barrel. It was only about a five minute wait and my server came over right away and took my order. My pancakes came out pretty quickly and were perfect. Service was great, my server was super friendly. As a Californian visiting Florida. I was so confused by the rocking chairs up front. I was visiting my Floridian best friend and I was telling her that I've been dying to try Cracker Barrel because of the hype. Oh my they do not disappoint if you're looking for that Southern charm. I am hooked upon Southern food and wish we have one where I am. That fried chicken, turnip greens, and casserole was so good. The crisp of the fried chicken with the honey doesn't compare an inch to Popeye's. I was so hungry I devoured that meal. The service is pretty decent. It is nothing I would write home to. The host was actually friendlier than our waitress. Also, I got hooked on that Cracker Barrel gift shop and left with a cross bracelet. The restaurant was very clean, and Michael was an outstanding server. We ordered Cherry Coke floats, and they were out of the cherries that normally go on top. Instead of just bringing them without saying anything, Michael came back to our table to let us know and asked if we still wanted them. That extra consideration really stood out; many places would have simply served them without mentioning it. We also ordered the chicken sandwiches, and in my opinion, they were even better than Chick-fil-A's. (Just my opinion--don't come at me! ) They were flavorful, juicy, and cooked perfectly. This meatloaf, compared to the other Barrel I ordered from, was a couple notches better than the piece from the other day. The chicken & dumplings didn't have much chicken and needed seasoning (salt and pepper); were edible, but nothing that would cause me to order it again anytime soon. The turnip greens and fried okra were okay, but nothing I would crave. The wife really enjoyed her Campfire meal. The beef was very tender, juicy and tasty. Service was great. This normally wouldn't be my first pick for a restaurant, but I must admit I was pleasantly surprised. The chicken was so juicy, and the portion was massive! I got the Mac and cheese and seasoned rice as my two sides, and they were each perfect too. The rice doesn't look like much, but the flavour matched perfectly with the chicken. I really really wanted to come to Cracker Barrel while visiting Orlando since we don't have any in Portland, OR anymore. We came... the store is always an experience while waiting for a table. Great things to look at -- seasonal always with a sales table and fantastic old time candies to look at. We didn't have to wait long and were seated fairly quickly. This made sense since we were waiting for it to open in our cars lol. The location was clean -- again makes sense as we were first in. We were greeted by a new server and she was super nice. Ultimately I did not get my fried okra I so love because we were there for breakfast. It was good. The Loaded Tots they had on the seasonal menu were amazing with great flavor. I would definitely get those again. My eggs were cooked perfectly. The bacon was not crispy enough but it was fixed right away. The biscuits she brought to the table were hard as a rock on the bottom so she brought out fresh ones. I frankly think they were trying to use some from the night before -- but it was fixed. I've always loved stopping by Cracker and Barrel in Kissimmee for their cozy atmosphere and homestyle food, but my most recent visit blew me away! I noticed two exciting new additions: a latte machine and biscuit beignets. The latte was perfectly made--smooth, rich, and just the caffeine pick-me-up I needed. My wife and I stopped there for breakfast at around 8:30am on a Wednesday morning. The parking lot seemed relatively empty so we assumed we would have our meal quickly. We sat extremely fast, without any issues. Maybe four or five other tables were taken, but definitely NOT busy by any stretch. We were impressed with the new menu and the selection they offered. However, that's when things went terribly wrong. We waited over 20 minutes without anyone even coming to our table to take a drink of order or even a food order. At that point, we decided it was time to get up and politely leave. As we were leaving, I pointed out to the host, my displeasure with the situation only to be dismissed. I was very disappointed with my visit to Cracker Barrel the other day. I went with my family on a Tuesday afternoon at 5:00, and we were served at 7 p.m. It took far too long to get food here. Our server was very sweet, but you could tell that the kitchen was where the backup issues were occurring. They messed up one of our orders, which took another 45 minutes to fix, but they took it off our bill. I got the catfish dinner, and the fish was so thin that I was just eating the batter. I hope this issue resolves itself soon because I do enjoy Cracker Barrel meals, but if it continues to take this long, I'll take my business elsewhere. read more

First time ever to a Cracker Barrel and definitely a memorable experience!!! As soon as you enter, it's a cool store with a lot of good souvenirs! Got a few magnets, a dad joke book and a coffee cup the size of a beer jug! **Also, to get a table at the restaurant, you check in with the employee at the entrance of Cracker Barrel....we learned that the hard way** Service is great, they're quick and friendly!! To pay for the meal, they just give you a QR code to scan - definitely cuts down on the wait time. This is super family oriented too! Food is pretty good! The southern fried chicken has a good crunch to it and they give you four pieces, so a lot to love there! I took a chance on the dumplins, literally had no idea what it was but I got it anyway. Well..... this place freaking rocks!!!!! From when we started waiting to be seated.... Gil took the initiative to greet us with a smile and enthusiasm. Detailed in service, recommended great food choices, even provided some great suggestions for his palate to try. This visit was GREAT! Our server Devion was very helpful in helping me to decide what to have. He suggested the Stuff Cheesecake Pancakes. I would never have came up with that combination. The cheesecake filling was just right, couldn't get enough of it. Definitely having this dish again. I thanked my server for his suggestions. The spicy chicken sausage was delicious.
