Waffle

I think this is the best Waffle House we have been to. The food was delicious as always. The waffles weee fluffy, eggs were done to my liking the first time (over easy), the biscuit was flaky, my partner's bacon was very crunchy as requested, the grits had soooome lumps but not enough for me to complain. Food is not an issue at all. The service was magnificent. We went two days in a row. When entering we were greeted cheerfully, we were attended by a guy who took our names and had us wait. We didn't wait long (for reference we went twice in a row) when we were sat down. First day we got Lina and she was efficient, quick, and helpful. I only had to ask for things once and they were done in seconds. She had a gold personality and attended her tables the same way. Second day, we got another server but Lina still did me the favor or checking in and charging my phone. I tipped Alina $10 and the other server as well the next day. The ambiance was great. Obviously don't expect a WH to be quiet with classical music. The ambience is fast quick and loudish which is fine by me. My partner and I worked in the food service industry for years and we applauded their efficiency. First, everything is clean. Clean clean clean. Next, everyone was efficient, fast, and friendly to each other and treated customer right. Finally, their system was top notch. They had a tall white guy who was leading the food line, someone was on eggs, someone was on hash brown and meat, someone else was on veggies, cheese, and bread. There was people washing dishes at all times and cleaning tables. Amazing chefs kiss.

Well, I was on that side of town by downtown Disney and I wanted a hot fresh waffle so I stopped in this location and it was very very loud in there and I have headaches and the man that was washing the dishes and putting them away he was just slamming the dishes so loud that I couldn't enjoy my breakfast. I had to have my server give me a to go container to take my food out my server. She was nice and all, but like I said, the place was just too loud for my liking, I doubt that I will go there again and may be OK for other people but unfortunately, I just had a not so good experience.

Smothered and covered hasbrowns and biscuit

Today was my very first Waffle House experience, and I have to say; it lived up to the hype. The restaurant itself is smaller than I expected, maybe 20 tables plus spots at the bar, but it was buzzing with energy. About ten employees were working in perfect sync, making the place feel like a hive of activity. We ordered three regular waffles and one pecan waffle (because, really, how can you go to Waffle House and not get waffles?). The waffles were hot, fluffy, and exactly what you'd hope for. The real standout, though, was the hashbrowns; covered and smothered style. Absolutely fantastic. I also grabbed a biscuit and a slice of ham, both served hot and fresh. Service here is short and to the point--no frills, no chit-chat, just efficient and accurate. Honestly, I appreciated that. Everything came out exactly as ordered, and the whole meal for our family of four, with drinks and tax, was under $50. That's a great deal for the quality and quantity. Overall, we had an excellent meal, and I'd 100% come back; not just to Waffle House in general, but specifically to this location. Great food, great value, and a fun first-time experience.

The service here is quick and friendly. They also have a tune box you can play your favorite tunes while you eat. Our entrees included grits, t-bone , eggs with cheese, raisin toast with grape and apple butter.

Ive heard about Waffle House so I definitely needed to give this a try. They are open 24/7! The food is cheap. We shared the waffle, eggs, hash brown and it was more than enough to fill 2 of us up. We also ordered the biscuits and gravy. The waffle we got with pecans. It's good but the exterior is not the crunchy kind. The inside is very dated and a bit dirty but what can you expect.

Usually I don't eat franchise food when on vacation but it was super early, we were hungry and Waffle House is always open so we stopped on in! This location looked much like most Waffle Houses, small and greasy. The restroom was clean. We were the only patrons so our food came out pretty fast. Now let's talk about the food...my hash browns were not scattered and I barely tasted my "covered" onions! My dad says his chicken was overcooked and my cousin says her steak was more well than medium. Our server Julian was cool. All in all this was not the best Waffle House experience but it wasn't horrible....so I give this location a solid 3.5 stars!

Waffle House in Orlando, Florida. Yessssss ummm! Love this place! It's always been good! Waffle House is a classic in my book! Seen it only in southern states. It is a quick spot for food and simple menu for Ordering. Waffle House had a few families including us so it was not too crowded. It was a two man team one chef and one guy taking orders. Took about 30mins for our meal but never disappoints. Well worth the wait! The guys handled their business in the kitchen and with orders.

This place is a fun and amazing experience! The staff is so friendly and the music was great! The staff was buzzing around singing! The food was great with large portions! None of us were able to finish our food! If you are anywhere near this Waffle House, you won't be disappointed!

Staff is short tempered and irritable. They expect you to know what you want as soon as you sit. If it's your first time trying Waffle House look at the menu before hand. Food is very simple and fresh. The blueberry waffle is a must and you should never skip especially if you like blueberry muffins. Ask for extra blueberry and extra crispy hash browns ! This place is definitely just eat and go. It gives very much 7 eleven vibes.

Oh my! Waffle House delivered for a first time experience. While staying in Orlando for a couple nights my daughter noticed this place across the street and told me she has always wanted to check it out. The morning we were leaving, we decided to have breakfast here. Very busy location sitting in the heart of Disney Springs we did have about a 15 minute wait, no big deal though. The restaurant is small and serves many tourists I am sure. Gwen called us when it was our turn and led us to our nice booth all clean. A very simple menu with the comforts of breakfast food. Rona came over quickly and she was just a sweet as could be. We quickly decided what we wanted and Rona submitted our order. Prices here just can't be beat. So very reasonable for their offerings. As we waited, old school music was jammin. I really had to hold back as I wanted to jump up and dance. If you all know me, then you know I love to dance. I noticed several of the servers and cooks moving with the music, laughing and genuinely enjoying their jobs. Nice! Food came out quick and hot. Everything tasted so good. I don't know if all Waffle Houses are as cool as this one, but I would come back for Gwen and Rona's terrific service and the tasty breakfast!

Very cozy feeling as you walk in, with beautiful live edge wood tabletops. We started with their homemade biscuits; each one was twice the size of a regular biscuit. The taste was incredible, and their gravy and jelly made it even better. The chicken and waffles were crispy and full of flavor. Their French toast was also fantastic if you're looking for a large portion. I didn't see anyone disappointed with their meals. Highly recommended.

The pickles were delicious. The dips for the hush puppies were better than the pups themselves. The entrees were huge and tasty. Mains and sides were flavorful and the staff was flexible about making adjustments. Food came out at a good pace even as the restaurant got more crowded. It's a large open space, which means it can get loud, but not overly so. Our waiter referred to all the women as "mama", saying "that's how they do it in the south". Not sure that's a great approach, but I appreciated the effort at being friendly. Overall rating: Food: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 3/5 Value: 3/5

My husband had the Peruvian shrimp with yellow rice, salad, and black beans. We were both raving about the taste while eating. They have a range of dishes from across Latin America, and lots of gluten free options. They aren't safe for celiacs though. They use a shared fryer. If you are super sensitive or have celiac, just beware of that. The staff are lovely, friendly and helpful. Conveniently located in the theme parks area near Orlando. You order at a kiosk fast food style, but all of the food is then prepared freshly and authentically. They have a huge menu with all kinds of delicious Latin eats like sandwiches and platters. We absolutely loved our Cuban sammies which came on thick and sweet bread. My kids kept it simple with tenders and fries and also enjoyed! They have a big drink selection and you can find everything from juices to fresh cocktails. The biggest hit was their large indoor screened patio - perfect for my kids to run around. If you want to avoid fast food but also don't feel like taking your kids to a proper sit down restaurant than this is a really great option.

Ok this has to be my favorite restaurant in Orlando and I loved the food so much. Alfredo was my…read moreserver and he had the best recommendation and I loved it. The empanada came LOADED with shredded beef and this empanada didn't skimp out on quality. It tastes so good when you dip it with the green sauce and it was chef's kiss. I think this is the best empanada I ever had and when I tried other empanada, it doesn't even compare to this. I ordered another dish but I forgot the name and it's soo good. I was a little disappointed because the menu said pick 3 sides and I chose all beef. Alfredo didn't mention to me that there would be an additional charge for the beef. As a result, I had to pay an additional $10 which was very pricey and didn't find out until I received my bill and saw the charge. I didn't make any complaints because the employees seem not to speak English well and it's hard to be a foreigner trying to adapt to the culture and the language. But this is soo good and I can see why the reviews on yelp are all stellar.

I live close, so have come here quite a bit over the year…read more Pro- Just got renovated, so it looks pretty. The staff is nice, and the food is good. They also have lunch specials, which is nice. Cons- There is ALWAYS a weird perm smell when you go. It literally smells like someone is perming their hair, so not good. Another con is sometimes it takes long to get your food. And last but not least, I think their prices are not reasonable lately. Some of the prices do not match their menu, not sure when they raised their prices but I have never ever heard of a patacon costing almost $26 anywhere, and I frequent a lot of Venezuelan spots. Their name went from Q'Kenan restaurant to Q'Kenan Steakhouse so maybe now they just raised all the prices, I don't know. Their most expensive patacon on the menu is the one with Picańha and it says $17...yet I got charged 25.90. Regardless of how good something is, there shouldn't be a $9 difference from what is on the menu. That is absurd. On my last trip- $43 for an empanada, tequeńos and a patacon just doesn't sound right for Venezuelan food, and I come from living in Miami where restaurants are supposed to be more expensive. Add a tip and you're paying over $50 for street food. That's wild.

Think flapjacks the size of your face--no exaggeration. Everything felt hearty, satisfying, and exactly what we needed after a long run. We visited on a Sunday around brunch time, so it was definitely busy. Because of our party size, we weren't able to be seated until everyone arrived, which meant about a 30-minute wait. Not ideal when you're starving, but once we got to the table, the experience really picked up. The staff was friendly, attentive, and checked in on us often throughout the meal. I ordered the Tractor Driver Combo to share, and it was more than enough food for two people (honestly, probably could have fed three!). We went with scrambled eggs, bacon, added a side of turkey sausage, and a vanilla waffle--everything was delicious and cooked just right. One small thing that stood out was that someone came around taking photos of our table and offered to sell them to us at the end. It felt a little unexpected, but I assume that's part of the touristy Orlando experience. Overall, it was a great spot for a hearty meal with generous portions and friendly service. If I'm back in the area, I'd definitely return and try something else on the menu--everything we saw coming out of the kitchen looked just as good.
