Cracker Barrel is my all-time favorite breakfast spot. I love that they keep things simple, classic, and consistently good every time I visit. On this trip, I ordered the strawberry cheesecake pancakes, hash brown casserole, sausage patties, and over-medium eggs, and everything was delicious. The pancakes were fluffy with just the right amount of sweetness, while the hash brown casserole is always one of my favorite sides. The sausage and eggs were cooked just the way I like them, making for a satisfying breakfast. One thing I appreciate about this location is how fast the service is, even when they're busy. The restaurant is always clean, and the staff is friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. If you're looking for a reliable place for a hearty, homestyle breakfast, Cracker Barrel is hard to beat. It's a place I never get tired of visiting.

The service was horrible - We ordered 3 child meals and sat for almost an hour before they were served and we had to ASK twice to have the order checked. Waitress Melissa was not friendly or even apologetic. I will never go to this CB again!!

The past two times they have left out one of my sides. Finally called the store this time . The person who I talked to said they were the one to check the order (the signatures appear to be the same on both receipts) They said next time we come in to mention we were short the side and we would get it then. After I said we always get delivery and don't go into the restaurant the offer to tell them the next time was again given. That does zero good to someone who orders online and does not go to the restaurant. In addition to this the dumplings were over salted to the point of being unenjoyable

Service was friendly, but sadly the food missed the mark completely. The country fried steak and burger were both overcooked to the point where they tasted microwaved. Not what I expect from Cracker Barrel. Good staff, but the kitchen really needs improvement. I would not recommend this location.

This is your typical Cracker Barrel. The facility is large and over filled with things to buy in the lobby. Things are always open and clean. Lots of people on hand to serve you. The menu is predictable and the food quality is consistent from place to place. On this visit...everyone was very friendly and professional. I'm not sure where our waitress was most of the time. However, the rest of the crew was very kind to respond to our requests when we got tired of waiting. Kudos to the team. Not so kudos to our waitress - who was very nice just not present. I was suprised that they now deliver a basket of bread ahead of the entrees. This was nice. The butter and jelly packets were tempting to devour them all before dinner. The biscuits are light, flaky and absolutely delicious! We tried the 2 for $8.99 appetizers. The white cheddar bites are pretty good. The cheese was nice and soft but firm enough to bite. The cheese had a mild taste and light breading. The fried pickle chips were okay. The chip was moderately thin and not much pickle zip taste. The breading was thin and had a resemblance of a corn meal type taste. My maple bacon chicken breast was good. There were two large pieces of chicken to fill you up. The chicken was moist and tender. The maple sauce was light and not too sweet. Little BBQ taste to accent the maple taste. The bacon strips were not crisp but easily cut.

Got Cracker Barrel through Door Dash as a treat. It was delicious! Super comforting. I always get biscuits, because I am not a fan of the cornbread. The greens are great with vinegar added.

Classic cracker barrel. Chances are if you have been on any roadtrip on a major highway you have seen the infamous yellow and brown signs for these country stores/kitchens. They are all pretty much the same on the inside with seasonal decor and nostalgic trinkets/candy in their store. This location is very crowded during the breakfast hours on the weekends so be prepared to wait a bit if you are looking to eat during these times. The good thing is, they serve some breakfast items all day. Inside it feels very homey and cozy especially during the colder months when the large fireplace is going. All the food I have gotten here has been good. The white gravy has a bit of a smoky flavor to it which I enjoy but others may not. All entrees typically come with biscuits or cornbread so you do get a lot of food. I recommend the meatloaf, chicken and dumplings and country fried steak for meals. The cooked carrots and fried apples are my favorite sides. The bathrooms here are not the cleanest and sometimes the store section is crammed so full you cannot move very well around. The service can be hit or miss. Generally it has been good but there have been a time or two that it could have been a bit better. One time we were even given the wrong check and almost paid too much.

    So good! Cornbread and biscuits

I got the fried chicken and it was not good. Tasted like a premade patty. Did not taste hand breaded. Their food is just okay.

Love Cracker Barrell. No matter which one you eat in, the food is always the same. Corn muffins, biscuits...just like granny used to make.

It was a great place to have a nice solo steak dinner in West Lafayette. I don't eat steak often, but when I do, I want it to be amazing. And my steak was amazing! I got the 8-ounce Linz Heritage filet, Sam Allen style, which meant that it also came with grilled shrimp and a chimichurri. Yum yum yum to all three things. I usually order my steak medium-well, but the server suggested medium, so I went with it. Good choice! My server was very wise, even though he looked like he was still in college. Along with the steak, I got a side of grilled mushrooms, which came in a brown sauce with chives sprinkled on top. But first: I started with an heirloom tomato salad, which was served with stracciatella cheese, basil and these cool balls that looked like roe, but were actually balls of balsamic vinegar. Fancy! It was fresh and light, and the perfect appetizer to get during a summer in Indiana, when them tomatoes be poppin'. I don't know why I'm reviewing my meal backward, but just go with me, people. Before everything, you get complimentary rolls and butter. Oh man! I could have made a meal just from the bread and butter, both of which were tender and soft, and so salty and flavorful. At the very beginning of my meal, I started with an Old Fashioned, because I read that Boilerhouse Prime is known for their Old Fashioneds. This one was well balanced, and came with a nice bourbon cherry. I also got a glass of Malbec along the way with my meal, which went well with my steak. This seems like an adults-only restaurant, but I was sitting close to a big table that had a family with kids, so well-behaved kids are definitely allowed, even though I did not see a kids menu.

Last time I got the lobster bisque and it may have been the best I've ever had. I ordered it again and it was terrible. Just terrible. Tasted kind of bitter and was much too dark for a lobster bisque. The side dishes are enormous and they were all ok. The charred broccoli is an entire stalk thrown on a grill. Char on outside, raw on inside. Lovely. My American Wagyu bone-in strip was good, though it tasted no different than prime meat and did cost $95. I would have hoped for better than just 'good'. Family enjoyed most items. I sampled the wedge and really liked that. Probably best part of the meal. Oysters were excellent. Drinks are always good here. They have upgraded their rum list and have some high quality ones now. That's great! Service is always top notch. I will definitely be back for happy hours. The food at this restaurant is good. But when 2 adults and 3 kids drop $800 on a meal, it really ought to be fantastic, not just good.

When my childhood best friend of eighteen straight years passed away, this location marked the final stop in the bar crawl that was held in his honor. The sides are also a little bit unique in the sense that the vegetable sides also have added bacon, which is great to see. I personally love to see hush puppies, which is a very antiquated and rare to find option for food. And they did not disappoint. Overall, I would say from the sampler of the ribs and the chicken were fantastic as well as the pulled pork. The brisket was OK, but did not necessarily stand out. We did try four different barbecue sauces, which were all fantastic. The hush puppies as I stated earlier were absolutely delicious and I would come back just for these. We also got the corn pudding, which was a little bit on the sweeter side, but made and baked fresh just like everything else here. And this was a great alternative to cornbread. To top it all off, the staff here was so super nice, especially the young man at the counter when you first walked in as he also offered up a sample of the corn pudding because I've never heard of corn pudding nor did I ever tried it and this was also my first visit. I would definitely come back here again, and/or visit any of their other locations closer to Indy.
