Quick and affordable. I had a seat at the counter and was greeted in a couple of minutes. My waitress was awesome. She must have called me honey at least 10 times and I loved it. I ordered the ribeye steak and eggs for 17.00. It's an off menu item, so you have to ask for it. Everything was cooked just right. The steak was surprisingly very tender and seasoned well. I went to Waffle house and was disappointed there was no Fighting breaking out. Its like all the internet videos are staged and fake. All I got was great service with a smile. This location is pretty busy but you would never know it. Waffle house runs better than my 57 Chevy pick-up. The consistency of the waffle fluffiness to batter ratio is always on point and more reliable than my car started in the morning. The food always comes up really fast sometimes I think they're just trying to get me out of the bar area for a better looking guy. Usually my food is being sat in front of me before I've even finished one level on my video game. The wait staff here and the door greeters are always very nice very friendly very efficiand quick to make sure your glass is never empty. Once experience the lady cashing out decided to try and skip a family just to cash me out. I know I'm a local but please don't bypass me just to make me happy. Give everyone the same curtesy. The same day a man kept insisting on my ethnicity asking if I was Jamaican. He seemed very off. It shouldn't matter what a person drives or how they look. Ordered the All star special. This comes with eggs, a waffle, toast and grits or hash browns. The eggs came out as ordered and we got multiple orders of waffles for the table which included blueberry, pecan and chocolate chip. It was the consensus that the blueberry was the best. The "toppings" were baked into the waffle, not on top. If I had one complaint about my order, it would be to have the hash browns cooked a little more. For those who have never been, it's as casual as you can get. The location was very busy and the service was fast and cheerful. I'd choose this above Denny's or IHOP for a fast breakfast. read more

It was my very first time eating at this restaurant and I must say, it was a memorable experience. I'm not sure if that's the way all other waffle houses do it, but with a name like wafflehouse, I was expecting like a decently thick waffle. Maybe I'm too spoiled LOL. It was a sad day to see my Veteran mistreated. We had been patrons of this Palm Bay Waffle house for 10 years, but after the pandemic started ordering mostly to go. On this day we came in and no one was at the register and we went to place our order. We waited for someone to come over but by the time they did several people had finished eating and there were 11 people who came behind us. My husband was asked to move out of the way to let the others pay, he was told they would take his order then. I told him I was not in a rush and yes we could wait so he moved aside patiently. They took each person who paid and also took orders, when they were finished and out the door, my husband got up to order again. The man once my husband got to the register then ignored him and began putting items away, and helping the servers. My husband stood there patiently again. I told him it was ok. The man then switched places with a black haired woman. She got up to the register and looked at my husband and told him to stand aside so that she could help the people behind him. He told her that he had already stood beside and let 11 people in front of him. She rudely then said she understood that but that he needed to stand aside again. The sad part was that he had his military hat and shirt on. He was so proud to have put it on that day I had just brought it for him. It said "DD-214 Alumni" and he loved it. I would not recommend any Veteran going to the Palm Bay, Florida on Malabar Waffle House and I asked him to never go there again. I'm not even sure if it was worth a star. Me and my friends needed a place to eat because everywhere was packed and we just wanted to eat! We were in Melbourne for the weekend and we ended up heading out to Palm Bay. Well we came across this Waffle House, came and sat right in the front and low and behold it was disgusting! The waffle maker area was gross and it was filled with crust. It was dirty on the floor and just ugh! See the pictures! Leadership is ridiculous! Was told we had a 30-35 min wait before our food would be ready, ended up waiting over and hour, spoke with the manager and he said there was nothing her could do. The food is sub par at best . The atmosphere sucks and it's just not the same as it was. He does not handle his staff the right way because if he did they would not have such a gross store. I get COVID is here but you would think that would be a reason to have a cleaner store . Well he gets a big fat F for that.
