Horrible experience with a catering order. I waited over 40 mins for an preordered catering order. I understand being a few minutes late, but 40 mins, at 7am on a Thursday? When the order finally came out, I noticed an employee walking with 2 half gallons of what I thought was tea (I didn't order tea) because surely they wouldn't put the coffee I ordered in half gallon jugs but that's exactly what they did. When she handed them to me; she said 'they are hot'...ok. The manager wouldn't even look me in the eye not to mention apologize. When I finally got to my customer 30 mins late (since travel was terrible due to the 40 mins delay)- I was missing multiple items, had more of some items and missing the plates that I had to specifically add into the order. I love the food at Crackel Barrel but The customer service I received today at this location was not that great, I understand that it would be busy on a Sunday but they need to coordinate their ToGo order protocol better. It was unorganized. The last Crackel Barrel I visited did their togo orders at the register. I waited next to other people who also wanted to put a order in and the "Training Coordinator" who took my order didn't even ask who was waiting first. She just started taking names and orders. I've worked in hospitality before and that's not how things should be when it comes to customer service. Anyone who has ever dated me knows that thus is my favorite breakfast spot. Since I moved to Georgia, I don't frequent them as often. First was because they had a 73 sanitation score in 2017. Its Cracker Barrel. Really, really hard to mess up not only the product, but also quality service. Located adjacent to the I-75 North exit off of Southlake plaza in Morrow, this location is a good choice if you don't want to eat at IHOP next door, or even Wafflehouse. Parking fills up quick here, and cars are always zipping around quickly within the area, so be mindful. You can't go wrong with getting some of Cracker Barrel's basics. For me, the basics are The Momma's Breakfast, which is three buttermilk pancakes, eggs (I chose over-easy), and bacon with sausage patties. You can mix up your bacon & sausage patty choices by choosing two strips of bacon with one patty, or vice versa. You just have to request this with your server. Service is quite prompt here, as well as genuine. I've been coming here for years, and it has been very consistent. I never leave a review. This is by far the worst experience I ever had in a restaurant. I took my wife and daughter to have breakfast. Took almost 20 minutes to be greeted by a server. Once order the server came back and stated they didn't have what we ordered which is fine i understand I manage a restaurant and own my own business. But was never asked how we wanted our steaks. My steak came out medium and bland barely any seasoning. And wife steak came out way over well done and hard as rock. Spoke to the manager and manager stated that it's not our job to ask and was told too next time state how we want our steak cooked. Was never offered a solution and I feel like we were Profiled because we are a young Asian couple with a kid and thought they can just walk over us. As I stated we are business owners and operate our own restaurants. We will never return to this establishment and never will recommend it to our friends and family. We could tell the restaurant was short-staffed, however, the wait was worth it with Aisha as our server. She was excellent! The best southern food, atmosphere, and great tasting food. Cracker Barrel is a traditional southern food restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner at any time. This location is not much different from the rest and they have a country store that sells country music, country household goods, country fried seasonings, and country rocking chairs. After eating a "Free Hotel Breakfast" the day before, we opted to pay for something better. I tried to get my son to go to iHop next door, but he wanted Cracker Barrel. It wasn't crowded and the it seemed pretty nice. I ordered Mama's pancake breakfast, which included three pancakes, two eggs, and choice of meat (bacon). My son ordered the Smokehouse with eggs, choice of meat (bacon), hash brown casserole, and gravy and biscuits. The meal took about 15 minutes to come out, which is slow for Cracker Barrel, but it was good and hot. Just ordered through Doordash the limited time offer for the grandma sampler. I've ordered this at least 5 times before and today was horrible. A few weeks ago I went in to pick up and called to speak to the manager Kareem to actually give high acknowledgment to the cashier there, who was extremely polite. I usually don't visit due to the old history of being mistreated and lack of ethical empathy. I ordered only because they mailed a flyer for free delivery for a limited time. However the code kept coming back invalid. After speaking with Kareem, he explained that all states were experiencing problems with the promo but of I ordered again it should work. I have them high remarks on my visit, which was viewed by many. Today my order that was delivered was no way close to the others. After calling and asking for a manager, I spoke to Maryann a supervisor. She had me look at the receipt to see who prepared my order to find out why there was only a small to go cup of gravy, not even two eggs nor usual order of casserole. She told me that some they launched the promo it was discovered they were giving out the wrong portion of gravy, which is no way close of covering the piece of turkey that you get. She seemed slightly offensive when I asked how someone can order the exact same meal numerous times but today was different. I asked was Kareem or a manager available to speak with and she hung up the phone. Welp Cracker Barrel can thank Maryann for losing a breakfast or dinner delivery customer. I came here for brunch and it was crowded. We managed to get a seat because there were only two of us so it was easy. The service was quite OK but could've been better because we were not served with utensils and had to ask, no sauces and had to ask for it. The food wise was terrible, I was quite disappointed because I heard good raves about Cracker Barrel. We ordered a Chicken Pot pie, Fried Chicken breast, and steak with mac and cheese. The Chicken Pot Pie was filled with lots of chicken, perhaps too much that I couldn't enjoy the gravy and soup of it because there were too little soup in it. As for the fried chicken breast, it was too dry and too thick piece making it bland and dry. The Steak was full of fats making it hard to eat for brunch. I don't think I will visit again because of the price and taste of the food. The food has always been on point for me, cooked just right and full of flavor. The one and only hit or miss with this location is the wait staff. If you get Melinda, Linda, or Tajuan, you will receive top-notch service. Anyone else is a roll of the dice. Some of the servers are slow and inattentive, so if you find someone you like, try to request their station, if they are available. Granted, I avoid this place like the plague on the weekend, so I have never experienced the long waits that others have complained about on Yelp. The store side of things offers some really cool items, including old school candies and foods, clothing, audiobooks and dvds, toys, and really cool seasonal items. I recommend waiting for a sale though, because their stuff can be a bit pricey. read more

We arrived at this Cracker Barrel location at about 11am, received our seat 30 minutes later; ok, no problem, it's a busy place and it was a Saturday morning. The food wasn't amazing; like others have said, it was clear it had been sitting under a heat lamp for most of its existence after they prepared it, prior to it arriving at our table. Our server, Jennifer, was an absolute treasure. But the restaurant can't keep up with the demand, and their little Cracker Barrel shopping center they got up in there in an attempt to turn that extra profit, is just a hinderance to customers waiting to eat, trying to pay, or just trying to get in the restaurant to see what the wait time is. We were on our way to visit Tampa, FL and decided to stop into this location for brunch. Dexter was our waiter and I was extremely impressed with his world class customer service. While visiting I observed Dexter hugging strangers as they departed to pay their checks and thanking them for coming by. He saluted a group of veterans that stopped by for brunch as he welcomed them and took their drink order. He sang beautifully to a woman celebrating her birthday and didn't miss a beat with service or his contagious and welcoming personality. We tipped him an equal balance to our check for his service commitment of 100% to the customers experience. We need more people like Dexter in this world. The hostess and everyone was very rude and nasty. When I finally got my order the pancakes were over cooked and several items were missing. DON'T GO!!!Walked in with one family ahead of us. We waited for 15min for a host to come greet us. People started lining up to put their name in to eat. Servers walked back and forth with to go orders but no one looked at the folks lining up. Finally the host came out, looked at the line and then made an announcement that there would be an hour wait. Everyone cleared out except us and the family in front of us. The family in front of us were seated immediately and then we put our name in. He said there was that hour wait and asked for our phone number. I said that we would wait right there, I would prefer not to leave my number. He said that was fine. We stood there a few minutes and then someone else came to put their name. The manager came up and advised of the hour wait and that we would be texted. We said we didn't give our number that we would wait there. She said no, due to social distancing we couldn't wait there (what about the last 15 min prior when we were waiting with the rest of the crowd before they left?). I have never been to a Cracker Barrel before and so when I was down in Atlanta, my good friend decided to take me to one and I absolutely LOVED IT! I'm just writing about general review of the store. The store was cute. You had a lot of things you could buy from the store that were mad mad maddd cheap. I wish I had bought the jam when I was there... Anyhow went to eat the food and it was soooo good. EVEN THE DRINKS. EVEN THE ICED TEA DRINKS! I could not believe how good it was.
