I bought the Thanksgiving Day meal for 8-10 people. Overall it was terrible and I'll never buy it again. I usually leave good reviews but I don't want anyone else to go through this experience. The Turkey breast was prepackaged and it was fine. The pies were good. Mashed potatoes were fine. Gravy and cranberry sauce were fine. The stuffing was really horrible. Looked like it had been frozen and defrosted--soupy. Tasted sour and spoiled. I had to throw it away. The greens beans must have come in a can and dumped into a foil container. NO seasoning at all. The mac and cheese was very plain. (I paid extra for mac and cheese.) I had to do so much doctoring of the food to make presentable I might as well have cooked the whole meal. Definitely NOT worth over $200, I paid for it. When I called in the complaint, I was told I'd get a partial refund but I only received $10. read more

The service s slow and the food is cold. I'm not sure what is going on there but we have tried it on different days of the week and different times with different servers and we always get cold food. If you stick your fork in the mashed potatoes and lift it the entire serving comes up from the plate. The butter doesn't melt on the bread and the mac and cheese is clumped. I've contacted Cracker Barrel but they never even respond to the comments. The prices are a lot more than they were just 2 years ago and it's now time to move on to another place. We eat here pretty often and it is always good. Sunday was an exception. First no lemon for tea. Minor thing. My wife ordered Meat Loaf, Greens and mashed potatoes with rolls. I went with chicken fingers and steak frys. Mine was good when it finally came. It took forever for the food to come but I understand that as Noone wants to work. When it did arrive the greens were ice cold. The Meat Loaf was as if they took some ground beef, mixed in a few things, plopped it on a pan and baked it. Nothing like Meat Loaf and even though we waited forever for our food rolls weren't ready until we were ready to leave. Luckily I had a lot of chicken and frys and shared with my wife or she would have had nothing to eat. Through it all our server was friendly and effeciant. This entire staff need to be replaced. Service was horrible. Waiter drop tray full of items took 3 people and 20 mins later to ask if someone could come clean it up and remove shards of glass from under table. When someone finally came to clean it up he dragged 2 rags under his foot and swiped the mess partially up. The table behind me a part of 6 was sitting they cleaned the table off and pushed everything to the floor separated the tables and sat another party down . This store needs to be cleaned staff need to learn how to greet and talk to customers and provide better service . Not the best spot that I have been to for breakfast but you do get a lot of food for a good price. As you can see on the picture, it was a lot of food. I forgot the name of the order but it came with eggs, bacon, hash brown casserole, biscuits and much more. The pancakes we ordered on the side because I had heard so much about how good they were and I can agree. The food was okay, as I said not the best but I will definitely be back for the pancakes ! After the food arrived, the server stated that there was no cornbread to go with the husband's dinner meal. I spoke with the manager Ryan and he stated that he would take $10 off the meal. The MEAL should have been FREE, since it was an INCOMPLETE MEAL. Cornbread is advertised as part of the meal. How can you run out of cornbread, when you sell cornbread in your store? Second-order using Uber' once again Cracker barrel FAILED to include all items ordered and the slice of ham was about the size of 1/2 a slice of bacon and so overcooked it was not chewable, the baked potato was like a warm rock. We stopped in, mainly because there isn't a CB close to where I stay on the west coast.. I have to say the service was amazing!! Latrice was fabulous. She started us out with biscuits, kept our glasses flowing with that sweet nectar (tea) and absolutely made our experience the best that we have had in Atlanta. I had the momma's pancake b'fast, with bacon and I have to say the crispy edges on the cakes make them top notch! Soft and fluffy in the middle, and crispy around the edges. The chicken strips were fresh and hot, the breading was crispy, and the chicken was juicy (like it's supposed to be) the biscuits were fluffy, and the gravy was smooth (other than the lumps that should be there). We will make this specific store a stop on our road trips to Atlanta from now on. I'm glad my first CB experience since living on the west coast was here, and so amazing!!! read more

However, don't offer it if the INTENTION is to NEVER answer the phone when someone calls to tell you they are outside. Four different experiences at this specific location I have ordered, arrived and sat in my car calling for 10 plus minutes for no one el answer the phone. This time I came in to really see what happens and the you g man at the register stood there with NOTHING to do and never answered the constantly ringing phone. Horrible experience with a catering order. I waited over 40 mins for an preordered catering order. I understand being a few minutes late, but 40 mins, at 7am on a Thursday? When the order finally came out, I noticed an employee walking with 2 half gallons of what I thought was tea (I didn't order tea) because surely they wouldn't put the coffee I ordered in half gallon jugs but that's exactly what they did. When she handed them to me; she said 'they are hot'...ok. The manager wouldn't even look me in the eye not to mention apologize. When I finally got to my customer 30 mins late (since travel was terrible due to the 40 mins delay)- I was missing multiple items, had more of some items and missing the plates that I had to specifically add into the order. I love the food at Crackel Barrel but The customer service I received today at this location was not that great, I understand that it would be busy on a Sunday but they need to coordinate their ToGo order protocol better. It was unorganized. The last Crackel Barrel I visited did their togo orders at the register. I waited next to other people who also wanted to put a order in and the "Training Coordinator" who took my order didn't even ask who was waiting first. She just started taking names and orders.
