This was an Uber Eats order with Cracker Barrel... That was an absolute embarrassment! Like I couldn't make this up if I wanted to... I ordered an egg sandwich, that was supposed to come with sourdough bread, tomatoes, and yes, you guessed it...EGGS!!!! When I received the order, it was 2 pieces of bread and tomato!!!! That's literally it!!!! not an egg to be found! I called the store, spoke to someone that said that they were a manager (Mark!), who proceeded to tell me that the selection indicated that I wanted an egg sandwich without the eggs! Ambiance is a kin to grandma's farmhouse vibe casual, warm, and a little kitschy, designed for comfort food and unhurried meals. We were up in the area and we wanted something with a variety so Cracker Barrel sounded really good so we went there got seated right away and Alicia was our server I ordered the strawberry cheesecake French toast with turkey sausage an orange juice and we got some complimentary biscuits for the table which were delicious everything was delicious my husband ordered salmon, mashed potatoes, hash brown casserole and broccoli he said it was delicious our server was very personable and very on top of everything she was very friendly that's what I look for in a server I would return definitely read more

I've been trying to get to cracker barrel for years because the only one I know of is too far away in Connecticut. I was fortunate to find one on vacation in Lawrenceville Ga. Entering the restaurant is the gift store. I picked a cute little lattern and the retail associate was pleasantly engaging and she held the last particular latern for me. The aesthetics were that of a home kitchen. Very captivating and attractive , at he retail shop is all of that and more. I noticed opportunity for improvement in the service department. There were three of us and we had to ask for napkins twice, on the first request she brought 2 napkins I ordered steak and eggs which came with some sort of hash souffle. The steak was delicious and cooked to my liking. The muffin along with biscuits and gravy were a really good combination. The biscuits were mouth watering and scrumptious. I was not happy with the souffle, I have had much better. My son ordered the camp fire beef. He compared to a Campbell's soup. He was alright with it. We stopped here on our way to another city for work. The location itself was convenient, as it is situated directly next to a hotel. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was actually quite pleasant. For the most part, the dining area was clean, aside from the first table we attempted to sit at. Once we moved past that, everything else appeared orderly and well maintained. We didn't have to wait long for a table, which was a positive start. Unfortunately, the same could not be said for the food. We already knew what we wanted and ordered our Thai-style dishes quickly, but the wait for the food ended up being much longer than expected. This is where the experience began to fall apart. After some time passed, we checked in with our waiter, who initially told us everything was fine. A bit later, he came back and informed us that they were out of apples. That part was understandable--running out of ingredients happens. However, when we asked if the apples were what was holding up our meals, he confirmed that they were and mentioned that the rest of our food had already been plated and waiting. As a result, when our food finally arrived, it was not hot. What made the situation even more confusing was that when the food was eventually brought out, it included the apples anyway. We were told they "found some in the back," which didn't really explain why the food had been sitting long enough to cool down. I ordered the chicken fried chicken with apples, mac and cheese, hashbrowns, and broccoli cheese casserole. Unfortunately, most of the sides were extremely hard--especially the hashbrowns, which were not crispy but simply tough and difficult to eat. Several of the side dishes were essentially inedible. The gravy on the chicken fried chicken was thicker than normal, but it still tasted decent and was the only part of the meal I could reasonably eat. Even so, I only managed a few bites of most of the sides before realizing they were not enjoyable. The apples were served very cold--cold enough that they should not have been brought out at the end of the meal at all. By the time we finished, the majority of our food was still sitting untouched on the table. When we went to the front to pay, we explained to the associate that much of the food was cold and not eaten because it was unacceptable. The response we received was simply, "Okay. How would you like to pay?" There was no attempt to ask questions, offer a solution, or address the issue in any way. Normally, Cracker Barrel has been a fairly reliable place to eat in recent years, which made this experience even more disappointing. This particular location, at least during our visit, did not meet the standard we've come to expect. Based on this experience, I would not recommend visiting this location unless changes are made--either through better staff training or improved communication between the kitchen and front-of-house. The issues we encountered were avoidable, and the lack of effort to resolve them made the experience frustrating from start to finish. read more

Haven't eaten at this restaurant in awhile. Ordered a hamburger steak that was so salty I couldn't eat it. Slow service. My experience at this restaurant was extremely poor and I won't return. I have 45 years experience in the restaurant industry and can attest that if this is a trend Cracker Barrel will be shutting their doors. Best of luck. read more

Not sure why the bad reviews! My family and I really enjoyed our dinner here! It is summer time and they have a special "Campfire" menu that I tried and it was DELICIOUS! I was really impressed and wish they would keep this on their menu permanently! I got the beef dish and it was so flavorful. The meat was tender, and the veggies were delicious. I'd get this again in a heartbeat. The waitress was really sweet and nice, and who doesn't love those delicious biscuits. Drooling. My family were all happy with their meals, as well, and I'd definitely come to this location again. read more

We waited more than 40 minutes for our food so that they made a mistake and made us wait another 20 more minutes, the order was badly made and we needed dishes that we had ordered, they didn't give us a refill in the coffee, for wanting to hire young people everything goes wrong and they give a terrible service. read more

Nightmare! What we thought would be a nice brunch during our road trip became the most overstimulating gross experience. I ordered the strawberry pancakes and a side of eggs. My brother ordered the grandma breakfast meal. Our waiter didn't seem to understand that his meal came with eggs OR bacon/sausage. My pancakes were not a meal to begin with but she asked me the same question - eggs and bacon or sausage? - and led us to think both sides were included. My mom mentioned to her that she had it wrong and its eggs OR bacon/sausage but our order remained the same because she didn't understand. We were charged for the double sides. Fine, no big deal, but oh it gets worse. She asked us if we'd like a basket of biscuits while we wait for our food. The basket came out AFTER our food! It was barely touched! Now for the main food - my pancakes came without strawberries and my brother's fried egg came out as scrambled. We complained and I was given brown ROTTEN strawberries. My brother decided to stick with the scrambled eggs and eat it, but the waiter offered to bring it back and make them "crispier". Clearly has no idea what a fried egg is. As we are eating we are taking in the ambiance of crying babies and the ant that crawled onto our table. Pretty hard to keep my appetite for rotten strawberry pancakes after that. Today I met a friend I haven't seen in a year.. Our server (Brooke S) seemed annoyed from the start but we thought maybe she was having a bad day. It happens. But as time went on her service got worse. I asked for a refill for my drink. She said do you want it to go..... Mind you I had a full plate of food. Then she brings to go boxes and the check as if we are not able to finish our meal in the restaurant. So I told her I was going to place a Togo order. She was visably annoyed with that. She brought the Togo order to me sideways. This was at 2pm so my guess her shift was over and she wanted us to leave. We were there about an hour. She started slamming chairs around us. At one point pulled all the chairs behind me to sweep so I was unable to get up. It felt like we were being rush. We tried calling the manager as to not leave a digital footprint. No answer. Im not looking for a free meal. She needs to be trained properly. My problem is not with the store. It's with the service. read more

I ordered the fried chicken; which they are famous for. First, they would not give me all dark meat that I requested. Then they told me it would take 15 minutes. I said ok. Then they came back and said it would be 30 minutes. It actually took 45 minutes. In the meantime, my husband didn't get his meal. The server gave us some corn muffins in the meantime. The server apologized but they didn't offer to comp the meal or give me a discount. When I finally got my meal I was not even hungry anymore! The whole thing was ridiculous and I doubt I will ever go there again. read more

The wait time was long for a large group (1 hr) on a Saturday, but it was graduation time and Mother's Day weekend so I will forgive it, plus there's enough to look at in the store part to keep you busy and plenty of rocking chairs outside. I've been to this location 5-6 times. It's located right off I-85 and easy to get to. They have ample parking. It's the same as any other CB, rocking chairs out front and usually packed Saturday and Sunday mornings. I've never had anything but their breakfast. I've had their eggs, bacon, waffles, pancakes, toast, you name it. The food has always been decent. The service is average, nothing above and beyond, but not poor. The wait can be long at times, killing time in the store can make it go by faster. This place is alright, but I'd rather go somewhere else for breakfast in all honesty. read more

Amazing, Kind Customer Service!!! Sometimes I go to Cracker Barrel's when Im really missing my dad who recently passed away. We used to go to Cracker Barrel in my hometown Kansas City every time I visited. I came today to just have some Me Time, think about my dad, and eat some lunch. From the moment I walked in the door the customer service was amazing. I was spoken to several times before I even got my food. People checking on me, making sure I was helped. Making sure the areas around me were clean, even got a sweet compliment from someone telling me I was beautiful. Which I needed! Then my amazing server Lizzie (Elizabeth R on my receipt) was SO sweet!!! She made sure I had everything I needed, was attentive, talked to me often, and was SO personable. Felt like I made a new friend. She had no clue why I was there, but her warmth was comforting and refreshing. Truly southern hospitality all around. I had to ask for the manager to tell her how well she is leading her team because I not only got good, comfort food but also comforting, kind customer service!!! If you have any kind of incentive for good employees, my vote is for Lizzie to win the prize! I'll be sure to be back!!! Thank you!!! Your team made my day! read more

Cracker Barrel in Suwanee was terrible tonight. I stopped by to place a to go order. I stood around and watched the greeter sit 4 groups before anyone could take my order. Multiple people were standing around at the cash register and near the kitchen. I waited over 20 min for the order to be ready. Got home and the shrimp was missing from my big easy steak and shrimp order. The steak was supposed to be med rare as the ticket says. It was well done. The steamed broccoli was almost raw. Even the green beans which I usually really like tasted bad. What the heck Cracker Barrel? What's going on? Only positive the cashier was pleasant. read more

Well then didn't see a server approach the table. My family visited the Cracker Barrel at 75 Celebration Drive, Suwanee, GA 30024. The manager Samantha excused the long wait, poir service, and missing food to the fact that there were only two cooks and one was in training. I hate to complain however this was a bad experience. Our wait was over an hour to get our food, they served burnt pancakes, watery chicken and dumplings, and a steak that was dry and over cooked. When I requested a medium rare steak to be recooked, it took anither 30 minutes where they brought out the loaded baked potato because it was taking so long on a medium rare steak. I then asked that the steak dinner be turned into a take out dinner due to the wait on the recook. Only the steak was placed in the take out order. Neither the loaded potato or side was added. I cannot understand why when our table had so many problems that the manager stepped in but she didn't even do a quality check on the reorder. read more

This review is primarily about a most excellent server; Harold. Harold is one of the best servers I've had anywhere....from fine dining all the way down to buffets. My wife and I had particular orders; she's doing weight watchers and I have diabetes, so our breakfast orders on Thursday, 10/6 didnt exactly line up with the meal suggestions. Harold just listened to what we wanted, made suggestions about how to get without breaking the bank and promised that he would put it in the system in the most advantageous way. Harold was also immediate with hot coffee refills, sugar-free syrup, napkins and the check. All while serving and bussing other tables and being extremely pleasant. Listen up, Cracker Barrel management; you need another 10 of Harold. He clearly takes pride in doing a great job. It's a pleasure to meet people like him these days. They can be in short supply. Also, the breakfast was fast, hot and cooked to perfection. I order my eggs "over well" and most breakfast places still give me a runny egg. You can never go wrong eating at Cracker Barrel. Came here with my grandparents who were visiting and we ordered 1 entree per person and ate it all. We were there on Tuesday morning around 11AM and it got pretty crowded with 1 waitress serving all tables. I wish I got her name but she was quick and super friendly. I got the grandmas sampler. I was able to substitute the meat for fresh fruit and I liked the healthy choices. I was kissing the cottage cheese. My server Diana did not check on me much but that was ok. While I was there, the police were there for something involving another guest. Not sure what, don't want to know. Worst service ever!!! Arrived with a party of five (all starving). No one to seat us when we got in. Finally sat in a mostly empty restaurant, and 10 minutes later our waitress comes. Our waitress told us she would be take great care of us which ( because she took so long) I would say she did not. Finally had to ask for bread and then we waited for ten minutes before bringing bread out. We sat watching other parties come in, get their food, and leave. We finally got our warm-ish food 50 minutes after we sat down. When we went to pay our bill, we told them how bad our experience was. They said they were backed up in the kitchen even though we saw food coming out to other diners. When we are finished eating it even took over 10 minutes to get a container for leftovers. Very frustrating. Spoke with the manager, and he did take off 2 of the entrees from our bill. Sadly they were understaffed which even made the manager work in the kitchen. Most of the young workers were nice and attentive but sadly we didn't have the lively experience we usually have at Cracker Barrel. Overall experience took an hour and ten minutes. read more

Neither of these were provided and when I called the store, the very chipper manager Kathy told me it was my fault for not checking the bag before I left because they've been "slammed".
