I've been trying to get to cracker barrel for years because the only one I know of is too far away in Connecticut. I was fortunate to find one on vacation in Lawrenceville Ga. Entering the restaurant is the gift store. I picked a cute little lattern and the retail associate was pleasantly engaging and she held the last particular latern for me. The aesthetics were that of a home kitchen. Very captivating and attractive , at he retail shop is all of that and more. I noticed opportunity for improvement in the service department. There were three of us and we had to ask for napkins twice, on the first request she brought 2 napkins I ordered steak and eggs which came with some sort of hash souffle. The steak was delicious and cooked to my liking. The muffin along with biscuits and gravy were a really good combination. The biscuits were mouth watering and scrumptious. I was not happy with the souffle, I have had much better. My son ordered the camp fire beef. He compared to a Campbell's soup. He was alright with it. Strawberry pancakes, scrambled eggs, chicken sausage that were half cooked bcand souffle. She was okay with the meal but not impressed either.

We stopped here on our way to another city for work. The location itself was convenient, as it is situated directly next to a hotel. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was actually quite pleasant. For the most part, the dining area was clean, aside from the first table we attempted to sit at. Once we moved past that, everything else appeared orderly and well maintained. We didn't have to wait long for a table, which was a positive start. Unfortunately, the same could not be said for the food. We already knew what we wanted and ordered our Thai-style dishes quickly, but the wait for the food ended up being much longer than expected. This is where the experience began to fall apart. After some time passed, we checked in with our waiter, who initially told us everything was fine. A bit later, he came back and informed us that they were out of apples. That part was understandable--running out of ingredients happens. However, when we asked if the apples were what was holding up our meals, he confirmed that they were and mentioned that the rest of our food had already been plated and waiting. As a result, when our food finally arrived, it was not hot. What made the situation even more confusing was that when the food was eventually brought out, it included the apples anyway. We were told they "found some in the back," which didn't really explain why the food had been sitting long enough to cool down. I ordered the chicken fried chicken with apples, mac and cheese, hashbrowns, and broccoli cheese casserole. Unfortunately, most of the sides were extremely hard--especially the hashbrowns, which were not crispy but simply tough and difficult to eat. Several of the side dishes were essentially inedible. The gravy on the chicken fried chicken was thicker than normal, but it still tasted decent and was the only part of the meal I could reasonably eat. Even so, I only managed a few bites of most of the sides before realizing they were not enjoyable. The apples were served very cold--cold enough that they should not have been brought out at the end of the meal at all. By the time we finished, the majority of our food was still sitting untouched on the table. When we went to the front to pay, we explained to the associate that much of the food was cold and not eaten because it was unacceptable. The response we received was simply, "Okay. How would you like to pay?" There was no attempt to ask questions, offer a solution, or address the issue in any way. Normally, Cracker Barrel has been a fairly reliable place to eat in recent years, which made this experience even more disappointing. This particular location, at least during our visit, did not meet the standard we've come to expect. Based on this experience, I would not recommend visiting this location unless changes are made--either through better staff training or improved communication between the kitchen and front-of-house. The issues we encountered were avoidable, and the lack of effort to resolve them made the experience frustrating from start to finish.

Service and food was great. Always so cozy in the restaurant. Ambiance is warming. I really like entering the restaurant through a shopping adventure first. I do love shopping.

This is supposed to be meatloaf. Horrible

This location has gone down! Super sad, we ordered takeout and the food was burnt. Our food was burnt like the cook didn't care tonight.

Didn't realize how big the place was until I went to the restroom. It's huge with a private dining area for large groups, a regular area in front of open kitchen (which is where we sat) and then a bar area and another whole section where a pianist started playing a few minutes before we left. Service was very attentive. Two employees worked our table and the manager stopped by to check on us as well which is always appreciated. They have TV's in the bar area tuned to the World Cup coverage. Large modern fireplace in the bar section with casual seating in front of it. Valet parking available but we parked ourselves and used the tip money to buy creme brulee for dessert. We started with the burrata salad which included both red and green tomatoes. Very good. For my main entree, I ordered the halibut and it was excellent. My husband ordered the Cuts Ribeye and he described how he wanted his steak to the server and he recommended the temp. It was perfectly light pink so he was right with his knowledge. Prices were typical for a steakhouse but this spot makes for a great date night.

We had the oysters Rockefeller for an appetizer but had missed out on the cerviche special due to its popularity. I had a filet , brussel sprouts , and a wonderful lobster bisque soup. All in our party we're pleased with their entree selections. There is ample dining space, a nice lounge and live music most days. They have an outdoor cigar area and cozy quaint near the fireplace. The stat was the chocolate mouse cheesecake dessert which was delicious. Our servers were excellent and even met the manager staff very hospitable. Definitely a wonderful experience and will be back.

The prices were so outrageously high I started wondering if I was accidentally buying shares in the restaurant instead of ordering a steak. Then, before I could even process the emotional damage, I noticed they had already slapped an automatic tip on the receipt. Bold move. Usually people wait until after they've earned it. I would give a better tip at Texas Roadhouse, a real American Dining. The steak arrived looking like it had lost a fight with the shrink ray from Honey, I Shrunk the Kids. I've seen bigger samples at Costco. It was somehow both tiny and salty as shit, which is an impressive achievement in all the wrong ways. The mac and cheese tasted like someone whispered the words "cheddar" and "seasoning" into the kitchen and called it a day. I've had more flavorful ice cubes. At one point I looked down at my plate and genuinely wondered if this was the kids' menu portion by mistake. As we departed this fine establishment, I felt as though the restaurant had not merely emptied my wallet, but reached into my very soul and repossessed my financial future. My pocket had a hole in it by the time I left, my stomach was disappointed, and my dad deserved an apology letter from the chef. If Shakespeare himself had dined here, Hamlet would've been five acts of him debating whether "to eat, or not to eat." Save your money, grill a steak at home, and season your mac and cheese with literally anything. It'll taste better, cost less, and you won't need a small business loan just to celebrate Father's Day.

My birthday is Christmas week and I typically don't go out as I simply would rather not have to deal with the anticipated crowds. It was indeed crowded (on a Tuesday!) but my experience is one I'll never forget. She had made reservations and so to save a bit of time, we did valet parking. And from the friendliness of the valet, to the near immediate greeting and seating upon arrival, Seasons52 truly made my birthday special. I honestly can't give enough kind words for our server Tori - she was a genuine treat! Professional, attentive, kind ... just a beautiful soul. Please acknowledge Tori for the kind human being that she is and the wonderful service she provides. And my steak - the 8 oz. filet - oh my! Easily one of the best I've ever had! Perfectly cooked and seasoned. I savored every bite! Even the young guy at valet parking (wish I had gotten his name) was attentive and pleasant. I left them both nice, FAT tips with the hope that I made there day just as much as they made mine. They were even intentional about thanking us for our visit as we were leaving. To their credit, the staff did apologize and replaced the meal, and also offered a Caesar salad. However, the salad itself was not good and didn't really make up for the situation. The replacement entrée was fine--it tasted good--but by that point the experience was already affected. For a place like this, you expect a higher level of quality control and attention to detail. While they did try to fix the issue, finding something like that in your food is hard to overlook. Overall, just not the experience I expected for the price. Only good thing was my server he was excellent, I wish I could have remembered his name.
