What a wonderful little gem of a coffee house this place is! Four of us went today and we all tried different dishes and all you could hear at our table were our mmm's and lips smacking! Every dish was perfection!! Our server was awesome! She knew the menu and I gave her the 3 items that I had narrowed down to what I may want for her to pick for me... the quiche of the day with andouille sausage, shrimp, peppers, cheese and the most delicious light Flaky crust served with gouda grits that were outstanding! My plate looked like it had just came out of the dish washer I cleaned it so good ! Another person had the Eggs Benedict with the grits and he cleaned his plate as well. 3rd person got the turkey sandwich but on a croissant bc the sweet server said that was her favorite and boy it didn't disappoint... the 4th person got the strawberry pecan chicken salad that was massive! We lucked out by going on a Wednesday which is 20% off for seniors 65+ so we all received the discount! The coffee was great. The place is not huge but it is very clean and cozy feeling. Just slightly smaller than the First Watch we usually go to but the food was better and that's an accomplishment! It's in Sugar Hill, GA about 45 minutes from my house but definitely worth the drive. I already know what I'm having next time...creme brulè French toast with vanilla pudding... then the next time a banana Nutella crepe . The service was really great especially since it was Mother's Day( they gave us mothers these adorable little travel candles) and the staff was really nice, but we had a hard time justifying prices to quality of food. It just wasn't there which was really sad because we really wanted to like it, but sandwiches that should have had layers to them ( traditional club) had nothing and the bread was overly burnt. My mother-in- law ordered an avocado toast, ( we're from California, so we know how those are supposed to be made) - hers just had mashed avocados nothing else My husband and father-in-law had similar situations, the food was just really lacking. read more

We used to come here for breakfast, but after today, we won't be returning. Honestly, I was never that impressed--the menu was just okay--but today's experience completely turned us off. For all the dog lovers: if you're planning to sit outside with your pup, be warned--the owners of this location do NOT allow all dogs on the patio, even small and well-behaved ones like ours. We don't know if this is a new policy, because my husband has sat out there twice before with our dog without any issue. Four of us went for breakfast, the lobby was packed with others waiting to be seated. I was amazed at how quickly they got these folks to their tables. The place is very bright with lots of sunlight coming in making the place feel just right. The menu offers lots of tempting dishes to be considered. Our food was was served up quite quickly by a very pleasant young man (sorry, don't remember his name) who was very attentive during our time there. The food tasted just a good as it looked, plus when you order coffee, you get a whole carafe, so you can replenish without having to get a server's attention, a nice touch. Good food quick service, we've never had any trouble ordering here. I mostly get my food to-go because we don't like the crowd. We always get the kitchen sink which is ok the eggs are sometimes bland but it's mostly for our kids. We were visiting family and found this restaurant in the area. It's in a small shopping area on the end spot. The outside was really clean and had a really welcoming feel. Inside there is a host station, where they greet you and seat you. We had a party of 7.5 (a kid). We were seated quickly, and the server came in a decent amount of time and started taking drink orders. The food came out in a decent amount of time, and everything loomed great. Along with the good-looking presentation, it tastes good as well. I had the Veg Out AHHH-MLET, which was filled with fresh veggies (red pepper, mushroom, and something else, I forgot), but I did ask to remove the onions. A strong 4.5 for me!! Food : 4/5 I went with the hazelnut French toast and it was good. I wish it came with some type of side or protein. The grits were cheesy, but needed to cook a little longer in my opinion. The breakfast potatoes were my favorite part of the items we received. To be fair I only ordered the Irish oatmeal and I should've told them no brown sugar because they added too much and it was too sweet for me. The restaurant was busy and they appeared to be short staffed. However, it didn't affect the staff's attitude. They were still warm and welcoming. We ordered the following: Latte with honey and cinnamon $2.79 (sub almond milk +$0.49) Veg out omelet $8.99 + swiss cheese $0.79 Creme brulee french toast $7.99 Eggs benedict $9.79 The latte was ok. The entrees come with your choice of side. Options are potatoes, grits, fruit, oatmeal, etc. The portions are generous and filling. I had the veg out omelet with a biscuit and grits and it was tasty. I wish it hadn't taken me so many years to discover this fantastic place that is only five minutes from my house I've been driving past Reveille at least twice a day since they opened, and after 8 years, finally decided to stop in... 8 years too late. Clean... bright...friendly... welcoming... efficient... and the food is really great. And the classic rock (e.g. ZZ Top, INXS, etc) playing at a perfect background volume is a perfect touch. I loved their lemon blueberry pancakes and the eggs Benedict. Perfectly poached eggs. Every time. Two things they need to do better to get five stars from me: 1) Offer REAL Maple Syrup as an optional up-charge. Not a fan of the toxic HFCS stuff. 2) Figure out how to make the English muffins on the Benedict crispy/crunchy. A soggy muffin totally ruins an otherwise EB experience. (I requested extra crispy. It came with blackened edges, but was still mushy with no crunch. Small details the would not prevent me from coming back over and over again... Merely recommendations for a place that obviously wants to be the best it can be. read more

What a disappoint - used to be our favorite. Absolutely disgusting, dirty, sticky, basically just unclean and I can't even imagine what the kitchen looks like. I could have shared more photos but I think this enough. Silverware was dirty, floors were dirty and they had literally JUST opened! The was hair in my husband's water glass. We were looking for our waitress and asked another employee who was busy playing on her phone and shot us a dirty look. Another employee was walking around on her phone. As we were walking out an employee was sweeping the entrance filled with hair and dirt. They close at 2pm so I am not sure why no cleaning happens before they open. We will not be back. We had a spunky wild 4 year old and a hungry 3 month old when we visited and the initial table just wouldn't work for us and they had no problem moving us to accommodate the need to have some quieter space so our son could calm down and the baby could have her bottle without the noise. Was a little upset the hostess didn't listen to the request in the beginning to be in a quieter area where we saw there was space and we were willing to wait longer if needed but she assured us space she was taken us met those requirements but they didn't. They have outdoor seating that's covered so you don't get baked, so that's nice. I came here on a Tuesday around 12:15 pm. They were fairly empty, so I definitely thought service would be a lot better than it was. Our waitress barely checked on us and never delivered my hot chocolate. They were also out of a lot of their holiday items, which was very disappointing. My omelette was pretty lack luster. I've had better and I've had worse. The potatoes were very crispy and delicious.
