Quite possibly the best breakfast you will find between Palm Beach and Okeechobee. Skip the drive thru fast food and the grab-and-go from the gas stations, this is a sit down hand-cooked breakfast. Not too busy on a Sunday morning, there was plenty of parking and a choice of seats. The waitress brought coffee and took my order. Less than ten minutes later, my omelet arrived. Loaded with ham and mushrooms and tomatoes as requested, it was plenty filling and almost completely aligned with my low carb regime. After a third cup of coffee, it was time to head onwards. What a great find! Was driving by and saw a cool sign advertising good, home cooked meals and gave it a try. So happy I did! We had a hearty breakfast of scrambled eggs, pancakes, sausage, grits, and crispy hashbrowns...just awesome! Everything was made fresh from scratch and just plain delicious! This rural place offers great food at great prices. The ambiance gives off cowboy vibes. The staff is very friendly and the owner is hands on and appreciative of customers. Pay attention to Roland L.'s reviews since it says most everything I was going to say. We went to Crackers about twice a month for lunch. My husband loved the Cuban sandwich and for me it was the fish basket. The Farm to Table menu is completely changed and not worth the money. Refuse to pay $18 for just a burger no matter how good it is. If you have been there before the changes, I would recommend you check out the new menu before going back. The field to table food really burst with flavors like they are supposed to. For many, the food reminded them of foods' taste when they were children. First thing I have to say it the food used to be amazing here. But recently the owner got a partner in the restaurant and the quality of the food at least taste wise has gone way down and the prices have gone way up. Two months ago I could come here with my family and get three breakfasts for about $35, today we got two breakfasts and it was $40. they changed the gravy recipe and it is not good. they serve the sweet tea in mason jars now which feels unnecessary, the cafe is in a little country town, it's already as country as it gets. It feels like they are trying to church up the place and it isn't needed. The entire point of eating here was the delicious food and the low price point with classic small town breakfast diner feels. But now it feels like a place where people who want to believe they are country can go for an "authentic" experience but in all reality they lost all of the authenticity all together by making these changes. The service is great, the girls in there are awesome. The owner needs to give back whatever money they got given from thier new partner and go back to serving delicious food at a fair price. For $55 after a tip there are a dozen other places I'll go before I come here. Really bummed because this was my favorite breakfast spot. read more

Out for a bike ride this morning and went through Indiantown and I saw the Crackers Cafe in the corner of my eye, turned around and went inside for breakfast. Bit confusing, "seat yourself or wait to be seated", apparently it was "seat yourself" today. Menu looked adequate and the buffet looked plentiful, I went for the Buffet as it had a bit of everything and would give me a good understanding how the food in general tastes. The eggs were good (cracked daily), the biscuits and gravy are very good, the gravy is probably one of the best in this part of Florida. I would definitely stop by the "Crackers Cafe" if I ride through Indiantown again. read more

Very good breakfast. I had the veggie omelette, it was excellent and the side of tomatoes were fresh and delicious. It is a down home comfort place with lots of local decor. They did have a breakfast buffet which had eggs, biscuits and gravy, bacon and sausage. Our waitress was very friendly and efficient. read more

When I have a craving for good biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs and a double order of bacon, I get on my bike and ride the 65 miles to Indiantown on a Saturday or Sunday morning. Anything I've ever ordered there has been fresh and good. There may not be a lot happening in Indiantown, but it has the Crackers Cafe, so that's a big plus. read more

This place is A-OK in a good way. There's not many places to go eat in Indiantown to begin with, and this might be the only cafe in the town.... It's a straight forward diner with a country flair. Their prices are very reasonable and you get a comparable meal to go with it. I really didn't find anything wrong with the place, the service was decent, all the locals would eat there after Sunday morning church and the food was good. Additionally, the place was kept VERY clean which is always nice. I think this place used to be called "Good Times", but don't quote me, haha. read more

Split decision here: my meal was great, but my husband didn't like his. Four stars since I'm writing the review. I had the Country Eggs Benedict, which was basically biscuits and gravy with a sausage patty and eggs cooked to order. I thought it was first rate. The coffee was also very good. The wait staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Interesting Old Florida decor, and everything was clean. The regulars were also friendly and informative about the area. After reading some of the reviews, we thought we would give it a try. Hoping for breakfast but got there just as that was finishing up. The lunch menu was pretty basic. My husband got a bacon cheeseburger and cole slaw. The menu says that everything comes with French fries AND cole slaw, but waitress said only one. I got the steak and cheese with fries. Burger was ok but did not come dressed with anything, steak sandwich looked good but was dry and no flavor. Prices were reasonable, but the food could have been much better with a little more effort.
