We were in town visiting family and they brought us here twice during our visit. We absolutely LOVED this place! Loved the colorful pancake pictures everywhere, really set the atmosphere. The food was DELICIOUS! Oh my word, you really get a lot of food for what you pay for. We had a long drive ahead of us so we were stuffed. All of our family had various orders ranging from the meat skillet, banana nut pancakes, an omelette, and the churro waffle. The food did not disappoint. The service was also excellent. By far my fav breakfast place! Unfortunately, I have to be gluten free and this place has GLUTEN FREE BUTTERMILK PANCAKES! They're amazing and you can get them any style they make them just like the other pancakes. Since the cakes are the size of dinner plates, I grab a full stack to go, quarter them and put parchment in between and freeze them so I can have them whenever. The service here is impeccable and they're always happy to see you. The fireplace in the winter is a super cozy touch that makes you feel like you're at your grandma's. I didn't have much of an appetite when we came in, but my guy was starving. I was being indecisive on where to go, because nothing sounded good to me. He suggested we go here, he frequents this place when he goes to Medford for business so he said the food was good, and people from his warehouse like it. We were seated right away, and taken care of pretty fast even though I was having a hard time deciding on what I wanted...not the restaurants fault. I was just feeling nauseous from migraines. I decided on the BBQ burger, and I can't remember what he ordered. He said he never has ordered lunch here, so what ever it was, was most likely breakfast. My burger was so tall, and big I had to cut it in half. It was so full of flavor, but I also think it could have used more BBQ sauce for a BBQ burger, because it barely had any on it. I would probably come back here again. The tri tip sandwich looks like it might be pretty good. I don't know if I would like the chicken fried steak, it looks like the cheap frozen stuff that I don't care for. Other than that some of the other breakfast stuff looks delicious. Stopped here on our way out of Oregon. We were promptly greeted and sat. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. My daughter ordered the country fried steak. The gravy was delicious and the steak was prepared perfectly. I ordered a GF buttermilk pancake with eggs over medium. However, if you want a fancy pancake, this is the place! I order breakfast from them via DoorDash nearly every day and usually I'd give them 10 stars if I could...used to walk there but am too crippled up to make the walk... Anyway the last 2 orders have had issues, most recently the burned toast this morning...DD has been pretty good about resolving the financial part of it, but I sooo used to look forward to a nice breakfast from them the night before but now I'm starting to dread it...I contacted the restaurant and they told me they have not made any changes in the kitchen personnel wise, so something is off...I guess I'm going to have to start looking elsewhere for breakfast...very disappointing read more

I have always been a big fan of breakfast and Crack N Stack is in my opinion the best breakfast in the valley especially if you love pancakes. The Medford location has a large wall listing all the flavors and add ons and they all sound delicious. My favorite hands down is the lemon with fresh blueberries ( like a big handful of blueberries no skimping here! ) gluten-free is also an option. Oh also they buy their bacon, sausage and ground beef from Cherry Street Meats which means Deliciousness. My recent visit my friend ordered a burger and it was so juicy she had to ask for more napkins! Stack N Crack has 3 locations Eagle Point, Central Point and Medford. For those wanting smaller portions this restaurant had a senior menu and my #1 choice 2 eggs + 2 bacon or sausage + a very large pancake for just $8 The food and service is always excellent! We love Crackin' & Stackin' and went to the Medford location for the first time. Our server was awesome, and the food was great. I got two gluten-free pancakes (should have only gotten one), and they were really good. The only drawback was that my mom was in a wheelchair and needed to use the restroom, and her chair wouldn't fit through the doorway. Unfortunate. We'll be back, though. read more

I just love this place and I'm so glad that a place like this is here in Medford!! We love all the fun and delicious flavors of pancakes they offer. Our personal favorites are the Red Velvet and Mint Chip! We have always had exceptional service here and have never had to wait long to be seated or for our food to arrive. I go out to eat with my 13-year-old daughter and she writes the review unedited. Enjoy her thoughts. When I walked in I found myself in the typical mom and pop type diner. Dark boards that felt almost like blinds corralled us toward the little server pedestal thing that most restaurants have. It was decently busy when we got there. I got a mound of pancakes slathered in apple stuff . Pancakes were good but the apple stuff was maybe too sweet. Everyone else like there food but not the best ever. read more

Service was good pancakes were really good two eggs over easy perfectly cooked sausage was delicious not expensive at all. Indeed the coffee was so good I lingered after my meal for another cup and I almost never do that. I went to another place recently and I really enjoyed the past I really regret that decision. I recently visited Crackin and Stackin with my family from out of town. The help and waitress were outstanding. !!! My brother and I love corn beef hash and so saw it was homemade . We both ordered it and were disappointed. it was very grizzly and they seemed to have placed hashbrowns under it to make it look like there was more. For the price especially we will not be ordering it again. THE OTHER 4 BREAKFASTS WERE VERY GOOD ACCORDING TO FAMILY but we won't be doing corn beef again. Good pancakes, great bacon. They were very generous with the blueberries, yum. But y'all, what was with the strawberries? It's May 31, right in the middle of strawberry season, and the berries weren't ripe. All of the staff members were incredibly friendly and helpful. Great breakfast spot with friendly service. This was our first visit here and here's an important warning: Their pancakes are 12" wide, so plan accordingly!
