I have brought my girlfriend's SUV to Frank a few times in recent months and wanted to write an update. One visit was to troubleshoot the air conditioning, which was barely cool at best. I was hoping it just needed a Freon recharge. After checking the A/C system, Frank confirmed that the Freon was just low and everything else looked good. Luckily, her older car uses the newer, less expensive Freon. I just hung out while he recharged the system, and it was ready to go about 20 minutes later. The cost was only $150, money well spent to get ice cold air conditioning back. The most recent visit was to troubleshoot a service error code and ABS and brake warning lights. I was hoping this would just be a sensor on one of the wheels, but Frank said it looked like the main ABS ECU unit was faulty. Given the potential cost of the repair, it didn't make sense given the value of the car. I appreciated his honest opinion. He said there was no charge, but I still tipped him for his time because he always takes great care of me. I have tried a few other shops in the area over the years, and had initial good experiences. However, they all eventually gave me an estimate I knew as wrong, or didn't do work they said they did. I've been going to Frank ever since, and trust him 100%. Called to get a quote for an oil change. What they quated and what they charged me were the exact same. I love when they honor what they say. Some places will tell you one thing to get you there, but then come to find out they'll charge more. So glad they didn't do that here. Iw as on my way home and found this place on yelp. They had great reviews, and now I can see why. I waited for my mini suv to get serviced. Took 1 1/2 hours, which is what they said it would take. They didn't try to upsell me or do any add ons. I must say, in my life taking my car for an oil change, I've never been to a place where the garage open at 6:30am. Came in at 6am and Frank came a bit after to open up his garage. Took me in 15 min before he opens. He was very friendly for someone who woke up this early. Inside the lobby is clean. There's a selection of Keurig coffee and a hot/cold ice dispenser. There's also a set of charging center and a box of snack. Frank's also quoted me a very good price for my bmw X5 oil change. Much lower than 5 of the other local mechanics. According to him, he didn't take any appointments, so either drop off your car or come bright and early in the morning. read more

I found Frank last year through one of the Facebook community buzz pages. He got very high recommendations. Most of us have been taken advantage of, by either dealership service departments or chain shops that are constantly on the up-sale, you will find that Frank does not run his business by this practice. My husband needed some work on his brakes and it was less work than he thought he needed. He also needed two door handles replaced on two separate occasions. All work was done the same day. I brought my vehicle in, two times, after my husband did, and because Frank could not find the problem, he did not charge me. Sharp contrast ... I took my vehicle in to get my tires rotated and alignment at chain store - ATD. I already bought an alignment package three years ago from a different location. I felt taken advantage by some of the things they did, so I took it to another location. This one was worse, because the work I was told that was needed to be done was over $3K and four different issues. You see, the two things I needed, would have been free, tire rotation and alignment, and the shop and the mechanic would not have made money. I did end up doing two of the items that I now very much regret, because I would and should have rather given Frank my business and I am sure he wouldn't have charged me what this shop did. I gave in to time and stress of getting done the two things that were told to me in the past, but let them go. Talk about Buyer's Remorse. So mad at myself. Feel so foolish. After taking my vehicle to Frank's, I learned that the two items that I didn't get worked on, that were told to me and even shown to me while standing under the car lift and looking under my vehicle, were indeed NOT an issue and not even there to begin with. These guys are on commission and they have to get you to believe you need something done when you don't. Frank is honest, trustworthy, a hard worker, knowledgeable and a man of integrity. Mario is one of his employees who has strong integrity and is a fine auto mechanic as well. We were looking for a new repair place after our Corolla started with the dreaded check engine light. Frank took a look at it and fixed it up. Drove just fine for a few days as the light came back on. One of his techs suggested that could be the charcoal canister with the code that it threw and they got it ordered installed and its been good ever since. We picked it up late as he was there after closing working on some cars. Ever since then, we've taken the corolla back and trust his mechanic magic.
