I really enjoyed my experience here! From the warm, perfectly puffy beignets to the main dish, everything was delicious and exceeded my expectations. The mimosas were excellent--I tried the huckleberry flavor, which was new to me, and I absolutely loved it. I ordered the eggs Benedict with a side of their jalapeño cream cheese, and it was such a great combination. I'm someone who loves a little spice with my food, so I appreciated their house-made sauce--it added a nice kick without being overpowering. Charlie, our server, was friendly and attentive, and took great care of us throughout our visit.

Amazing food at great prices. Went with my mom and sister after getting off the plane and heading to CDA. Looked up someplace new and it did not disappoint. Food and service was amazing. The place was clean and cozy. We each ordered something and then shared a different crêpe and everything was just so delicious.

We made a quick trip to Spokane Valley and wanted a good breakfast before we hit the road. We decided to try the crimson door. I know you shouldn't judge a place by the exterior however this just looks so fresh and clean and I love the red door. We walked in and were warmly greeted and seated in a booth. The interior was bright and warm, and felt spacious. We were given a menu and there were so many wonderful options. We want to try the French Croissant Beignet so we went with the Perfect Starter. Oh my gosh, the beignets came out, and they were warm and served with a side of vanilla mascarpone. Hint of sweetness without overpowering so good. We also ordered the senior farmhouse breakfast. This included one egg with the choice of a lemon crêpe, hotcakes, or hash browns. I elected to have a scrambled egg with a lemon crepe since we already have beignets. It was such a delicious breakfast. I was especially happy that the lemon crepe was flavorful without being overly sweet. I would definitely return here again

From the time I walked in they were very friendly and helpful. The person that helped seat us, the waitress, also everyone on the way out. Was comfortable pleasant atmosphere. The food and coffee were outstanding. I need to go 5 more times because so many things looked good. You will not be sorry if you give them a try

Very busy (popular) diner with an upscale ambiance. The wait to get seated was long (30-ish or more minutes) but well worth it! The food...I tried the beignets and tried the Veggie scramble...SO GOOD. I also had the fresh squeezed orange juice and it was definitely the best orange juice I have ever had. Only took away 1 star for the higher than average pricing on breakfast scrambles, mine was $20 and most other diners I've been to are $16-18 and the small portion of orange juice for $5 (I believe it was 8 ounces).

Amazing service and food! That lemon crepe was delicious, it's not very lemony if you don't use the lemon but I prefered it that way because I'm not wild about lemon. Eggs cooked perfectly, bacon has a nice bite to it, the coffee was delightful. No complaints! Great job guys

Crimson Door Café is worth a trip to the valley, especially for the beignets. We arrived around 10 am on a Sunday ready to brunch and ready to wait. Luckily, it was only about a 10-minute wait before they were able to find seats for us at the bar. Since we ordered two mimosas, we were able to add 4 beignets for just a couple extra dollars. Speaking of the mimosas, the prickly pear one is great. I asked for mine a little less sweet and it was a nice balance to the champagne. My significant other had the jalapeno cream cheese eggs benedict and really liked it. I ordered the peach Danish hot cakes. It was similar to the beignets in that it came with vanilla mascarpone and powdered sugar. I think I might have overdone it with all my sugary choices, which just means I'll have to go back and try something else on the menu. Our favorite part of dining here was the servers behind the bar. They were really nice and fun to talk too. They were also very busy, so the fact that they took the time to chat with us and make a meaningful connection, really meant a lot.

This Crimini Wagyu Burger was amazing!

Goodness, gracious I wish I could come here every day. I do genuinely believe that this is the best…read moreThai place in the Spokane Valley! I first got to have mangrove during last summer, I went out for breakfast with my sister, and we stopped here on a whim. Was a little apprehensive at first because the restaurant is a home (not used as one though:) ) we shared their breakfast crêpes, I bought the fruity version and she had the savory version and we just split them down the middle. These were the most delicious crêpes I've ever had. The fruit was so fresh, delicious and sweet, I hadn't had fruit like this since I last visited Florida. And their portion sizes are pretty decent too. I was able to try their lunch menu this last Wednesday and I was genuinely in awe of how delicious the whole menu was. The kaosoi soup was out of this world. It was so rich in flavor and the spice was perfect, really coconutty and a beautiful curry base. I had so much that I was able to eat it again for dinner. I ordered a cup of rice to dip into the soup. The Thai fried rice was also delicious. It has a seafood base which tasted amazing with all of the citrus and to finish off our meal we had hot ginseng tea, which I'm surprised I haven't tried sooner because I love herbal teas. It has now been added to my shopping cart because ginseng has such a full body flavor that I can't get enough of it! The way they decorated this was adorable, the owner's personality really comes out in the way they set up the place. There's a lot of seating, but I don't think it would be good for a group bigger than four. The customer service is also great. The husband takes all of the orders and his wife creates all of immaculate dishes. They're a sweet older couple, hence the odd hours as they're slowly moving towards retirement. Come check them out!!

I had a cup of coffee, cinnamon roll, and the "dads favorite" (consisting of: bacon, sausage, onions, cheese, red peppers, all you can eat hash-browns all topped with their signature gravy.) They are also known for their jam. The jam is sweet, and could go well with any pancakes, waffles, or even just an English muffin. Martha the server was friendly, and attentive. Meal was around $30.

Customers who arrived after us were given prompt service and their orders came out immediately, when we asked the waitress about our order, she got a snooty attitude, said something about they had to fix something... said something and walked away. Finally, at 12:40p she brought out our order throw it on the table, with "here's your damn order, stop your bitching. Normally biscuits and gravy, eggs and bacon come on one plate, the same for the mini pancakes, everything came on separate plates. I tried to explain to the waitress that my mom was deaf, it was excuse me. Then she got really snotty when we stated that my mom had ordered mini pancakes and she got waffles. The response was 'just eat your damn meal." We're not regulars, we stop in often. We stopped here today my mom wanted pancakes and being a diabetic my blood sugar was low; on a normal day service is quick. once she throw the food on the table and her snooty attitude it was time to leave, Jenny's is NOT a place for the elderly nor handicap to visit, not with a snooty waitress like this. Sorry Jenny we may come back, but we're looking for a better place without snooty wait staff and have an understanding that there are deaf people who visit. This shows the LACK of training the staff. The one star is way too high for your service

Our server was very busy, handling both the bar and restaurant areas. We all started with appetizers, which we shared. Fried green beans were good, kind of spendy. The onion rings were great and the tarter they came with was nice. The mozzarella sticks were good, the marinara was cold and chunky. For meals, two of us went with their Irish Stew, salad, and absolutely delicious cornbread. Our other friend tried their Burnt End sandwich. She said it was really good. What I really wanted was BBQ turkey, which is on their online menu but not on the menu in the restaurant. It was a good experience and we'll definitely give them another try in the future.

The Mad Cow Reviewer…read more Well, color me udderly impressed! I wandered into McKracken's Irish Pub in Spokane Valley after a long day chewing cud and was greeted with the warmest "moo" of hospitality I've felt in ages. The owner clearly knows how to make everyone--two-legged or four-hooved--feel right at home. Let's start with the Guinness--cold, creamy, and poured with care. It's enough to make a bull tear up with joy (and that's saying something). The Irish stew? Hearty, rich, and packed with flavor. The cornbread is the real surprise--soft, slightly sweet, and perfect for soaking up the last bits of stew. Whoever's in that kitchen deserves a medal--or at least a salt lick of appreciation. They've got WiFi, so you can update your herd on your dining adventures, and the regulars add to that cozy, small-town pub vibe. Karaoke on Fridays is a real treat too--nothing like hearing a few pints in patrons belt out "Don't Stop Believin'" while I hum along in low, soulful moos. All in all, McKracken's is the kind of place that makes you want to settle in, loosen your bell, and stay awhile. Great food, cold beer, friendly faces--what more could a mad cow ask for? -- The Mad Cow Reviewer
