Came here for Geeks Who Drink which occurs on Thursday evenings. Drive by the place twice without realizing it. The signage is easy to miss and honestly would've never noticed this place had I not been actively looking for it. I tried the H&M sandwich and it was excellent! The side options for all their sandwiches are whole grain chips or cucumber slices. I opted for the chips, but tried a cucumber slice off my sister's plate. They were both just okay, I really wish they offered more choices. Although we sat in their dining area, there weren't any servers and we had to go to the bar to order. I'm not much of a beer or wine drinker, so I can't comment much on that. My sister really enjoyed a mocha dark beer she had though. All in all, the service sorta lacked, but I might return if I'm wanting nosh on a yummy sandwich while doing trivia. read more

Wow! I am an average guy who's been lucky enough to have been exposed to some of the best beer cities in America and this place is killer! They have a great selection of beer to say the least. I'm a big fan of Belgian style beers, amber/red, and specialty beers such as sours, infused, unique blends. They have great beer versus the "new" trend for nothing but IPA. Don't get me wrong, there are some good IPAs out there but I'd prefer to have beers similar to the ones that Craft & Social offer. Two thumbs up for the person who handles ordering the draft selections they are wonderful! Wish my local bar served what this place has. Can't wait to come back in the future! Staff was very knowledgeable about each and every beer they had. It's sad when a place doesn't even know what they are pouring. So glad to have stumbled upon Craft & Social. Not sure why i haven't been here before. Place is awesome. Nice cozy ambiance with great food, great beers and great wine and service. If your a beer geek, they actually have Founders KBS stout, a rare beer to get especially in the low brow beer corona world that is El Paso. I got the HM sandwich which is black forrest ham, manchego ( a cheese, for the average EP boor) arugula tomato and garlic aioli in a baguette. Was excellent. Service is good for a bar. The portion was a bit small but tasted amazing; came with cucumber chips which were awesome. I did see some other sandwiches which were a bit heftier. Not going to take stars off but this sandwich was so good i wish i had more. This place has a great vibe and great food and beer. A bit small it but worth a visit. read more

Went to the grand opening on Saturday. It was packed, but that can be expected for the opening night. The place is a little small but I expect would be more comfortable on a night where it wasn't a special event. I believe they have 20 crafts beers on tap and offer wines as well. There's a separate menu for each. Kitchen isn't open yet, but they were selling Pizza Joint slices. I think it'll be a good edition to downtown, and looks like it'll be a good place to hang out after work if you're downtown or a place to have a couple of drinks w/ friends. I give this a 5 star because it is by far the best atmosphere and beer selection you will find in this area. Bartender was awesome, opened early for us and had our food out in no time. This place is cool. being from Portland, one of the mecca's of craft beer. I have to say I had low expectations of the craft beer scene in El Paso, but this place changed my view. This place has many taps of some great beers. a nice selection of Belgians as well as many beers that I am unable to get in Oregon. They also had many nice wine selections to choose from. The atmosphere was nice and not too loud. I was able to have a conversation easily. The staff was very nice and helpful. This was a neat little establishment that I came across while traveling. I sat by myself at a table ordered a delicious salad as well as a couple of mixed drinks. They had a DJ that night that was playing a heavy dose of Tribe Called Quest which I expecially liked. The beer was exceptional, both selection and quality and we also enjoyed some nice tapas while sitting outside on a very lovely night. The staff was courtesy and helpful. The ambience is perfect. I came in on a lazy Sunday just to be outside and enjoy the quiet downtown. It was beautiful outside and a crisp IPA was exactly what I needed to relax before starting a hard week of work. They have nice and comfy furniture outside and it was great to just be outside sipping on the "Best before 4-20-16" beer from Stone. The staff was very friendly and didn't mind us just hanging out and only buying one beer. They definitely know their beer and can rattle of a great description. The inside is very nice in a rustic/modern kind of way. Nice chalkboard beer menu. Nice reclaimed wood benches and tables. LOVE THIS PLACE! The staff are extremely friendly and engaging with the customer. They are also very knowledgeable about craft beer and make great recommendations. The sandwiches are great as well, especially the Drunken Cow. There are quite a few regulars that some in, but with so many hotels close by you meet a lot of interesting people from all over. This place is a must if you are in town. These people that only gave it 4 stars are crazy and have no character. This place has amazing craft beer that rotates all the time so it is always a new experience. The staff is just like the name, very social and have service down to a tee! Ok let's do food now...they have some off the wall combo's of food that don't sound good but are really amazing. You have to try the cheeser. Stopped here for lunch and a beer and loved it. The large selection of beer that I had never heard of was overwhelming, but my server was knowledgeable and gave me a couple of samples to try. I had a delicious salad with pecans, cucumbers, goat cheese, avocado and house-made lemon vinagrette. My husband had a sandwich and cucumber chips that he really liked. We can't wait to go back. I would give this place 5 stars but i didn't get any food just a drink. Had a nice stout with Jameson which was amazing. Good vibe to this place, reminds me of the places i used to go to in AZ. There are board games in the back, there was Purple Rain the movie playing on the projector which was cool. Definitely will be back. read more
