Finally tried this spot and have already been back again. We didn't get photos the second time. Burgers are good and so are fries. On the first visit we had the traditional cheeseburger and the loaded fries. The fries were definitely loaded but the next time we opted for plain fries, they were delicious, just a lot of sour cream and guacamole. Next visit I did the Cheez-It and holy crap what a hunk of fried cheese. I had to pull it off and eat it separately, but again delicious. Great spot for a quick, yummy burger. This is fairly new so wanted to check it out. Server greeted us and offered us a handheld menu so we didn't need to study the wall over her head. There are several specialty burgers, chicken sandwiches, wings, salads and chicken fingers. Order at the counter and wait for your number to be called. I got the craft classic- without cheese or onions. Made it a meal with fries and a drink. Option of sweet potato fries or house fries. DH got the BLAT burger. Coke products (including Coke Zero - yay) and tea. The also had a cooler with bottled Coke products to purchase. Burger was tasty, bun was above average. Fries were almost as good as McDonalds. DH said the bacon was flimsy (the way I like it) and his burger was good but super messy. This is in a small strip mall but parking is pretty plentiful. Seating however, is limited. There are probably 30 seats total. A couple large families and you'll be getting it to go. The walls are bare, but it's very new it's clean and was busy. We'll be back! read more

Just an FYI. They've recently increased their prices a bit (still a good deal!) but that's understandable in this day and market. However, what I have an issue with is that the size of their kid's chicken fingers have decreased significantly (I would say each chicken finger looks to be about 50% smaller than my previous orders). I'll order the regular chicken fingers (6 fingers for $9.99) next time to see if it's all smaller fingers or just the kid's meal. Also, an order of fries (regular order, not side or kid's portion) have decreased in quantity amount as well. Regardless, this is still my favorite place to grab a fresh burger since they are so conveniently located near my house and the food tastes amazing. But if the prices continue to increase at the same time they decrease the portions/sizes, then I will be sure to update my review accordingly. read more

Overall the food was pretty good, but I did have a couple of issues and that's why this place wasn't a 4 or 5 star in my book. Biggest issue was that I asked for the burger to be cooked medium and it was beyond well done. To the point where it was somewhat dry. I hate overcooked beef so that was a huge offense. Although the burger was beyond overcooked, it did have good flavor and I appreciated the creativity of their burger menu. The sweet potato fries were average and the sauce they came with was strange. I couldn't quite make out what exactly it was by tasting and smelling it, but I was not a fan. The gluten free bun wasn't the best I've ever had, but it was pretty good. Not a home run, but definitely not a bad experience. I'll likely order here again and give them another opportunity to cook the burger right. lol read more

First time here and the restaurant smelled heavenly the moment I walked in. Staff was very friendly when taking my order. My burger patty was dry but I didn't really mind it too much. It was a decent burger and wasn't greasy at all. I didn't feel guilty eating afterwards or get major heartburn so that's a thumbs up for me. No special sauce on the burger but they do have sauces you can add to elevate your burger, just ask. The ingredients were fresh from the lettuce to the avocado. Stopped by with 2 friends for dinner on a Friday night around 7:15 Pm. The restaurant was moderately busy and I was told to expect a 20 minute wait for my order which was acceptable. My first impression was that the restaurant is dirty and a bit dingy. The tables are not wiped down regularly and were sticky. I had to ask twice for the table to be cleaned. The trash can is stuffed and overflowing -gross! I thought that perhaps the food would make up for the lousy atmosphere - it didn't. I had the grilled chicken sandwich which was dry, adorned with tasteless guacamole, an awful tomato, and placed on a cheap dry bun. One friend had cheeseburger which he said wasn't good and the other had chicken wings for which he gave a thumbs down. On a positive note, we agreed that the fries were very good. Visited here for Gwinnett Burger Week 2023. My wife and I each got the Cowboy Burger - Double 1/3lb Patty, Pepper Jack, lettuce, tomato, Dill Pickles, crispy onion, bacon, jalapeño mayo, and BBQ sauce. We should have got one and split this behemoth, but we accepted the challenge and finished both as it was delicious. Since it was so big, we didn't get to try any of their sides, so we'll have to go back. The smash burger patties were delicious, but I'll know to never get a Double patty here again! In an effort to shorten some of my reviews let me simply say that I enjoyed my first visit to Craft Burger by Shane much more than my second. ~ ON MY FIRST VISIT I had the Craft Classic, which is your basic all American cheeseburger using your choice of one or two Certified Hereford Beef patties topped with red onions, sweet pickles, lettuce, sliced tomatoes and their Craft sauce. DELICIOUS! I particularly loved the thick sweet pickles and the fries were dang near perfection. [4.5 stars for the overall meal] We also ordered the fried Brussels sprouts [3 stars] and loaded fries [3.5 stars]. Many restaurants have gotten so creative with sprouts that I've fallen in love with them for the first time in my life, particularly with ones that are coated in a sweet glaze with bacon added. The sprouts here are average at best. ~ ON MY SECOND VISIT I tried the burger I wanted to try on the first, the Southern Grower. I thought long and hard about this burger on the first visit, but wanted to start with the classic as a safe first choice. The SG comes with the same Certified Hereford Beef patties (I ordered it as a double), but instead it's topped with pimento cheese, pesto cream, bacon and a tomato slice. I was not a fan, but the fries once again were absolute perfection. [3.5 stars for the overall meal] The seating is well spaced and the staff were nice and efficient, but not particularly outgoing. The floors, tables and counters were all clean and neat and I was pleased to see someone jump to action and clean tables each time someone finished their meal and depart. VERDICT Great burger option for Gwinnett County! Of their 7 beef burger choices, the Craft Classic and the Busy Bee (topped w/bleu cheese & bacon) seem to be most suited to my tastes, so I hope to try that one on my next visit. This truly is one of the best burger places I have been too . They have a green chili burger that is out of this world . Fantastic sweet potato fries and truly hands-down the best brussels sprouts I have ever had. Do not leave this place without getting an order of those little beauties. For the vegetarian is out there they had the impossible burger and a black bean burger and I believe some kind of mushroom sandwich. Both were really good but....the grilled chicken even though the char taste was good the breasts were really thin and cut which made they dry and would slide out of sandwich easily. We also ordered fries and the mac n cheese balls. We elected to have this all to-go and were very impressed with how they packed the food and how the fries held up even after a 12 min drive home. I've had kpop burger and PB Chicken Sandwich. I used to LOVEEE the fried chicken sandwich. It was a thick, juicy cut. I would've given it a 5 star but recently I had the PB sandwich and they put in two slithers of dried chicken fried in what smelled like old oil. And the sauce was not the same. Not sure if the chef changed or they're trying to cut some costs due to increase in ingredient costs. I've heard the chicken tenders have also gotten skimped. Hopefully it's a one off, they're not really trying to cut corners and I can change my review in the near future. Otherwise, you've lost an avid fan. read more

When this 1st opened, it was a great go to place for a great Burger. It seems like they've gotten kind of sloppy and their food prep has to. I got a salad and got a salad and it was only so so, had oh, had a few pieces of old lettuce in it and, for me assistant big deal killer. It seems like they need to use a hamburger bun that's not as soft or as squishy. It just sort of falls apart in your hands after the 1st couple of bites. It tastes great, don't get me wrong but if I wanted a beef Patty bowl, I'd try to buy one somewhere but this turns into that whether you want it to be that or not. I do really enjoy the burgers at Craft Burger by Shane. My favorite is the Green Mile burger which comes with avocado, green chilies, arugula, pepper jack cheese and secret sauce. They do not skimp out on the arugula, there is an audible crunch when you bite through! The fries are okay, skinny ones with seasoning on the side. I've had the beet salad before as well as the fried Brussels sprouts and honestly neither of them were particularly noteworthy in my opinion. The staff are nice enough but they seem to be constantly confused when I've been there. If I had one complaint about this restaurant it's that there is zero ambiance. There are simple wooden tables with those horrible uncomfortable metal chairs. There's not really any art on the walls. The vibe is very much "get your food and get out". I know it's a counter service restaurant so it's not built for creating a top tier dining experience but there could be a lot of improvement just to make it even a little better. Heard about this place from a friend and was excited to try it. Got to the counter and the girl at the front just stared at me, no greeting whatsoever. So I proceeded to order. We got our food not too long after and I cut my burger in half. I took about 3 bites until I bite down and hear a hard crunch and my tooth felt a little sore. Spit my food out and look and see a 1 inch triangular piece of plastic sticking out the bottom bun of my burger.....IMMEDIATELY lost my appetite. Went back to the front counter and showed them. Manager apologized and said they would remake it. I refused and so he said he would refund my order. My husband lost his appetite as well and upon leaving he realized his burger didn't have avocado on it after we paid extra to add it on. These are the best burgers in Suwanee, and it's surprising what great prices they have on the menu. Our son always kids the kids cheeseburger meal, so that's simple, but they have a LOT of really neat burger options. I like mine with pesto aioli. The fries are good, but not as out of this world as their burgers. They have several cheeses (even fried mozzarella) and all sorts of flavors and toppings. They have interesting sides too, but we stick with fries and try new burgers every time. Downsides are the weird setup for the drinks, and the fact that I always leave smelling like I've been in a greasy kitchen. I'm really hoping they can expand soon to a better space.
