Busy place for a Thurs I believe it was a league night but we were early so in & out before they needed the table. Absolutely great place. Definitely a locals place. Has a biker bar feel and definitely a place for a great meal. It is in a strip mall so plenty of parking. For lunch the age range was toddler to 80 plus. Great flow of folks and they seem to do a large Togo business. It is a bar so it is dark and lots of TV's and yes they have beer and were mixing drinks for those that could drink an adult beverage for lunch. I had clam strips and the order was huge. Came with tots which were nice and crisp. The sweet tea was good and they fixed us Togo cups. Food was top notch and folks were super friendly but if a working class bar with great food and folks offends you stay away. read more

Great lil dive bar that doesn't smell like a dive bar. There are pool tables and FANTASTIC WINGS! Came with a couple of my friends for some picklebacks, a beer, and wings. Staff was really nice but our waitress was kind of slow and forgot to put in a few things we ordered. There was a shift change and our second waitress was much better. Very decently priced. Long story short, I lost a ton of weight ~25 years ago only eating 12 wings in a day, TOTAL, from Uncle Fats. After moving around to different places in that time, I always have wanted their wings again! Well, that time has come. And while a lot of things never taste the way you remember. THESE DID!!! I was so excited, and damn did I enjoy those wings! Sucks that I live so far away, I'd get them all the time. I guess it's a good thing though, as my only complaint is they are in the pricey side. I hate paying more than a $1 a wing. For 24 wings to go it was $36. But that was money well spent! So thank you for helping me lose weight all those years ago, and thanks for keeping them just as delicious as I remembered them. read more

We love this local spot! food is always great! They have GREAT FRIED CHICKEN WINGS AND SIDES LIKE FRIED MUSHROOMS, CURLY FRIES, and PICKLES!!! Our favorite local spot!! Service is a hot or miss but has mostly been on the better end. The ladies whom have worked there many years are awesome. The style of the restaurant is definitely more of local sports themed dive bar. It's usually pretty clean. We have been back a few times. Staying at a nearby hotel and came for dinner on a Saturday evening. There was no wait, but the whole place was bustling. Our server Hannah was outstanding, more than once I noticed the full team coordinated to serving guests. Verbal communication between, servers, bar and kitchen was audible, respectful and efficient. Hannah recommended wings or the burgers, I opted for the burger. When I saw an order of wings come out I thought I may have chosen wrong however the burger was spectacular and Cooke a perfect medium rare. I added the hand battered onion rings for a great compliment to the meal. My son had a cheesesteak, equally excellent. It is evident this is a place the locals frequent, however coming in as an out of town guest, the service made me feel like one of them. read more

Uncle Fat's is kind of a motorcycle bar with good food and service. We don't mind taking the kids if it is early. The atmosphere is fine for the kids and they have a few choices on the menu that they might like. For adults, the food is basic bar food and it is not too expensive. We go there with friends and always have a good time. There are tv's that are tuned to various sports events so if you want to party while watching your favorite sporting events, it's a great place to go. read more

I discovered this place while visiting Tampa for work and was absolutely happy I did. So to start the first night I came, I ordered the Rueben and was absolutely happy with it, flavor was great bread was firm and not soggy and the crout was wonderful. My only preference would have been more meat on it. Second night I ordered the special and got the sweet chili teriyaki wings and they were perfectly sweet with a minor tang. I am someone who does not like blue cheese but was convinced by Bex the bartender to order blue cheese because theirs was better than any others, so I told her I would give it a shot even though I knew I wouldn't like it. Boy was I wrong! Third night I had the chicken quesadilla which was supreme! Crispy, firm tortilla and just full of flavor. My biggest compliment about this place is their token system! If you order a pitcher of beer or a bucket, they give you one drink and tokens that are equal in drinks to the rest of your pitcher or bucket. So when you are ready to have another drink hand them a token and continue drinkin. No pressure to finish your drinks before leaving or waisting beer, because you can come back and use those tokens next visit! As far as the staff, they are all absolutely amazing and going to talk shit to you just as much as you will to them. I continued to laugh the whole time I've been here and absolutely will make it my goal to stop at this place every time I come visit Tampa, and will recommend it to anyone I know coming over here! All I can say is this place is an absolute banger that is family owned and operated. The only thing that sucks is that it's not back home where I live! read more

We went here for lunch and everything about this place was fantastic. First, we walked in the door and was pleasantly greeted. We found a table and started looking at the menu. A lovely lady came by and told us she was Lindsey. Lindsey was outgoing, extremely organized and outright funny! We ordered wings, BLT sandwich, fried okra and my son got a hamburger. We also order a stuff potato that had crab in it. The okra was some of the best fried okra we have ever eaten. I loved the stuffed crab potato and my BLT was very good. My son said his hamburger was delicious. Then I went to wash my hands and the restroom was very clean. Wow what a hidden gem in Temple Terrace. We live in Plant City but we will be back.
