I should have checked Yelp before I made an appointment here.... It was one of the worst experiences that I had. She cut my cuticles (she did not believe they were cut and making me feel like I was going crazy), she used the drill when I specifically asked not to (kept saying she knew what she was doing even if it was hurting). I got my lower leg waxed and they did not even close the door when they did the wax!! So unprofessional overall. It was horrible my nails are uneven, they made BOTH MY thumbs bleed, there was this old bat doing my nails and she was extremely rough with my nails and when I requested she do NOT cut my cuticles she cut them anyway. The customers there were very nice and they complemented my nails but when I requested the old bat to add more acrylic to the top of my nail to make it longer and she started filing them! My spa pedicure was nice, but my manicure was never finished and not the friendliest staff.

I moved to the Atlantic highlands about a year ago, and was looking for a new nail salon. First off they are open 7 days a week which is great! I called last minute for an appointment and they were able to take me. I got a gel fill and gel polish with Laura. She did a fantastic job. No bumps very smooth, and she got right up to my cuticle. I could tell she paid attention to detail. She was also very quick but was not rushing which is even better. I highly recommend and will be a returning :) read more

Just had my first post-covid pedicure, which should have been a treat. But I'm very disappointed. The woman was very slow, and I had to course-correct a bunch of times. I could have done a better job painting my own toenails. They're uneven and the sides of toenails do not have any polish on them. Also, the prices online aren't accurate online, it states $30 for a pedicure but I was charged $35. Wouldn't come here again. I should have known when I called 4 other places in the area and they couldn't take me because they're so busy and this place was open. But the place was very clean. read more

I'm so happy with the way my nails look every time I go here. Laura the owner does beautiful artistic designs. She knows what she's doing! You can tell. I had tips and polish and design to. Gel nails are the way to go, because I usually end up smudging them, but gel, once it sets your outta there! I love that. It's been 2 weeks now! They are strong! I regret going there for a manicure. The salon does not appear to be clean and the products they used are old. I had arrived with a beautiful dip manicure done elsewhere, and they had an old jar of the stuff. I then decided to forego dip and just have a gel manicure done. My fingernails have bubbles and also have begun to yellow at the ages: the grossest thing I have ever experienced after visiting a salon. Never again. read more

I love the staff at TC Nails & Spa II. Marina is my go to girl for my gel fills. However our schedules don't always align and there are 3 other staff members that can also take care of my type of fill. Pedicures are always a treat bc the massage chairs are so big and comfy. Appts are easy to make on line or you can call the salon. The spa is clean and well lit. The staff is friendly and services are competitively priced for the area. It's easy to find parking in the back lot if the spots in front are full. I have had nothing but positive experiences at TCNails 2. Now my daughters come here also. read more

I hate to leave a bad review because I have gone here and usually have great experiences but I went to a different girl this time for an acrylic removal and gel. They really should soak off acrylics rather than popping them off with another nail. a large chunk of my nail was ripped off on one of my fingers and I was bleeding. She proceeded to glob the gel (on all fingers) but also on top of the one she ripped off. Days later my finger still hurts and I paid $40 plus a tip even though i really was unhappy with my service. Accidents happen I know she didn't mean it but she was clearly struggling to get the acrylic off and instead of trying to soak them or anything else she just continued to rip them off. read more

Don't recommend. I came here about three years ago right when they opened, and I had a bad experience so I didn't go back since. But I figured since it was local and all my friends recommend it, I would give it a second chance. I made a same day appointment for a basic french acrylic full set. To start off the woman made all my nails the same size as my pinky nail. So my thumb is a short stubby mess and my pinky is extremely long. Throughout the whole thing she was holding my fingers tight enough to make my fingers sore for the rest of the day. Under my nails have tons of excess dip powder. The nails themselves have tons of bubbles, uneven painting, and every nail has an indent where the nail tip was glued on. When I went up to pay I was baffled, the man said seventy dollars!!! seventy dollars for the most basic nail you could possibly ask for. Not even gel. I get it all businesses are raising their prices, but for a basic French tip that price is unbelievable. I'm questioning if I was wrongfully charged because my friend got gel nails with a gemstone design for $65. Thays a reasonable price. But paying $80 tip included is ridiculous. I am new to the area and had not had a pedi since January. Given the Pandemic situation, I had no idea where to go or if I would be able to get an appointment in the near future. I drove by this salon and decided to check them out on yelp and google reviews. Seemed like a nice place. I called and they gave me an 8am apt the next day. They actually were able to take me the day called but I was not able to make it in. Upon arrival, a gentleman checked my temp- no contact- and had me go wash my hands immediately. After that, I picked a color and checked in on the sanitized tablet. Gina greeted me and took me to the pedi station immediately. There were barriers between each station, all employees and customers wearing masks, and barriers between the staff and the customer. I can honestly say this was the best pedicure that I have experienced in a long time. Friendly and accommodating staff, clean environment, awesome pedicure and fair prices! Gina was super friendly and did an amazing job. This is now my go to salon for mani/pedi. I'll be back soon for a mani. read more

I love Laura she is always so wonder. She does great nails. She always fits me in when I need her to. Her sister is great too. They lose a star because they aren't the best at pedicures. I don't love them they never massage long enough. But for your nails I would say 5 stars all the way. They do get busy and sometimes you have to wait but it's a nail salon most of them this happens at. As long as you have an appointment you will be fine. read more
