This was our first visit to any Kickback Jack's. The hostesses were very friendly and we were seated immediately. When we first walked in, I immediately noticed how dirty the glass doors were going into the restaurant and then again between the restaurant and the outdoor seating area, they could definitely use a deep cleaning. Our server was very friendly as well. She recommended a good drink & we ordered drinks and she took our food order pretty quickly. We started out with the Philly Cheesesteak Eggrolls, and ordered the Hot Honey Fried Chicken Sandwich and the Cuban that they had on the specials menu. The food came out fairly quickly, but we were missing items and the server was nowhere to be found, so we decided to split our meals so we could both try each sandwich. The Philly cheesesteak egg rolls were OK, they were a little on the mushy side and didn't really have a whole lot of flavor. Could definitely have used some peppers inside the rolls and/or maybe a spicy ranch dip rather than plain ranch. The chicken sandwich was really good and so were the sweet potato fries. I would've liked to have tried the Cuban when it was fresh, but I was missing an item so I didn't want to try it without it. Luckily with having an appetizer and splitting one of the sandwiches, it ended up being plenty of food, and since my sandwich was missing something, we just decided we would take it home. The server did not come back to our table to check on us or our food until we were completely done with one of the meals. She did bring out the missing item and to go boxes for the leftovers. It's a chain restaurant but everything was great. Service was above average. Everyone was friendly. Food came out when it should. Everything was delicious and we ate more that we should've. We walked out happy and FULL. Baked beans are a little sweet and meaty. They were really good. The burger was juicy (cooked medium-well, just like I ordered). It was a bacon cheeseburger with some really good bacon jam. I would definitely come back. They have plenty of parking! read more

I want to thank the amazing staff at this establishment. I traveled with a group of 28 high school students from Miami to eat here on a Sunday night. During the day of the visit I called and I spoke to one of the managers I believe her name was Sarah and she was super nice and helpful. Once we arrive. She let us know that she had a room for us and two of her staff who were going to be attending to us during our visit. Service was great. The food was phenomenal. I had their wings and burger. Both were so tasty. At first, I was a bit skeptical because some of the reviews on here weren't the best but I'm so glad I didn't allow those reviews to turn me away. We've been here a few times with parties of 8 or more on Sunday afternoon. The service has always been good, friendly and attentive. We usually order an appetizer, we've done the fried pickles and cheese curds. The appetizers and entrees have always been good, no complaints about anything. We've had the cheesesteak sandwich, wings, ribs, shrimp, chicken tenders, the sirloin steak, salads, everything comes out fresh and flavorful. They had a good idea of bringing soft drinks in monster sized cups so usually it lasts the entire meal, so no refills are needed. Super place to eat, have some drinks and watch all the games. With probably over 25 tv's I'm sure your game will be on. I had the honey siracha and Inca from the fall menu and they were so good! Very crispy from a light breading and not too hot at all. I don't usually do spicy, but these were easy to handle and amazing. Even with the place packed for a Duke UNC game, our server Kiki was on point. It's a pretty loud place l, given how large and open it is, and with all of the TV's but if you want a little quieter space, ask for the room on the left when you come in. So this is my first time visiting this location. Wanted to try something new. I ordered the dry rub wings with ranch dressing. They do not offer carrots/celery with their wings so I got a side of broccoli. I was surprised at the look because the skin was slightly burnt, but I'm going to give the benefit of the doubt and say it was the seasoning. Honestly my broccoli and beer was the best. We were greeted right away and taken to our table as we arrived. I really like the long big booths.Our waitress was super friendly. She stopped by a couple of times. I like that every seat has a good eye view of the TVs around the restaurant. The food was brought out by another waitress and came timely. I ordered a salad and it didn't come with my wings. I had to request it again. It was brought out promptly. The wings were grilled well, but they were a little underwhelming. The flavor was good, but they were a little tiny. The salad was very good. So i know it's probably weird to go to kick back jack and not get wings but I LOVE their salad. I have gotten this each time I've gone. This is the fresh berry salad which is Grilled chicken breast served over mixed greens with candied roasted pecans, fresh blueberries, mandarin oranges, feta cheese, strawberries and Raspberry Walnut Vinaigrette. I asked for extra mayo and they had to charge for that. I think it already came with mayo. She had to charge me $1 for the mayo, that was crazy to me. The Philly was dry without it. I enjoyed my experience at Kickback Jack's on Battleground Ave. Although I was picking up a takeout order, it was my first time visiting this location. I usually order through Uber Eats. Upon entering, the ambiance was fun and inviting, with a sports/game vibe. There are televisions almost everywhere you look, which is fantastic during any sports season! There is a large bar, ample seating, and a separate room for groups. The food is good, at least what I have tried so far. My favorite is the fish and chips. I didnt wait too long for my order, and when I had an issue with one of the plates, they went above and beyond to make it right. I will return to dine in and catch a football game soon. read more

I arrived at 6:20pm on a Sunday evening. There was a wait due to the football game. I decided to wait. I was notified that the table was ready at 6:48pm and was sat at 6:50pm. The waitress, Taylor, came over at 6:57pm. One of the Sunday specials was the "Peach Mint Lemonade" but waitress said they didn't have the ingredients to make it. I ended up getting the strawberry mango bucket along with a water. My cousin ordered Philly cheesesteak eggs rolls as an appetizer. We finished ordering around 7:08pm. I got 10 dry rub wings with broccoli. My son (birthday boy) got chicken Philly and fries. My other son got kids chicken tenders and fries. At 7:10pm, the Philly cheesesteak eggs rolls came. They were tasty! I received my drink a minute later at 7:11pm. I went to the restroom around 7:25pm. It smelled like a gas station restroom. It wasn't the cleanest. The floor by the ground urinals was wet and i almost slipped. The food had arrived by the time I returned to the table. I actually got like 13 wings instead of 10, so no complaints there! They were tasty. I got extra dry rub seasoning. When I got the bill, I noticed they charged me $0.50, which is no biggie but I should've been notified that there would be a charge. My chicken tenders came on a bed of mixed greens, shredded Monterrey Jack and cheddar cheeses, tomatoes, bacon croutons and topped with almonds. I went to kick backs and it wasn't the best experience! The food was raw when I got it! The mangers seemed to be aggravated with me for complaining instead of the workers! I asked for a manger and it took them 30 minutes to come speak to me. When I ordered their spinach dip I had raw shrimp in my dip. Constantly seeing drunk people walk around the restaurant. My daughter wanted to celebrate her graduation (party of 12)at this location. Adrian and Raven were helpful. However, the GM "Whitney " not so much. There was an issue with some of the plates we ordered. I voiced my concerns with the waitress and she in turn relayed to the GM. She relayed a message via server stating the food was good and that the adequate amount of sauce was applied. Several other employees stated that food look dry and was lacking sauce. Mind you the same plate was ordered and it came out cold. I was then told that I could purchase additional sauce for the dish. I ask to see the manager. There was no offer of a discount or anything else. No manager in sight. Lastly, I went to the men's room before I left and the floor was disgusting. They must have had the third string on duty! Patio waiter service was abysmal. While visiting from out if town I decided to watch NFL football at Kickbackjacks, Battleground on 0ct 20, 2024. Arriving at appriomatly 4:00PM I sat in the outdoor patio area; my experience: Choosing an uncleared table subsequently, cleared after an extended wait by one of the local customers I sat awaiting service. At appriomatly 4:45PM the waiter arrived to wipe off the table and in issue menus. Twenty minutes later I am still waiting to order food. At 5:05PM I expresseed my concern and the lack of waiter service to the restaurant manager. At which time I asked for a new server. Immediately the service manager arrived taking my order for a salmon salad. At 5:45PM and still no food left the restaurant. In closing today I can say without hesitation this was the worst restaurant service experience of my life be it domestic or international. read more
