Since it's an appointment-only studio, I completely understood that they aren't open for walk-ins. I called the number on the door, and the person I spoke with confirmed they would be there shortly--about 20 minutes. Unfortunately, it ended up being closer to 30 minutes before someone arrived. By then, my girls were getting restless and were ready to leave. The only reason I waited it out was because I had read about the cancellation fee on their website and didn't want to risk being charged. Once we got inside, though, the experience completely turned around. The shop owner was incredibly patient with my girls, walking them through their decoden creations and making sure they had everything they needed. They genuinely had a great time, and it was a fun, creative activity that kept them engaged. There was one more hiccup at checkout--they initially charged us the additional sitting fee per person because they hadn't realized we had already booked an appointment. Thankfully, they caught the mistake afterward and promptly refunded the extra charge, which I appreciated. Would I come back? Maybe. The activity itself was a lot of fun, and the customer service during the crafting experience was warm and attentive. However, the delayed opening and the confusion over our reservation made the visit feel a little disorganized. If the appointment process were smoother, I'd be much more inclined to return.

You can take one of the classes they offer as part of their regular catalog, or for a little more, you can create your own class with a group of friends. I opted for the latter, and we had an *incredible* time. I put together two separate groups of a dozen of us, and we made stunning kiln-carved glass plates that I continue to use today. The process was made simple courtesy of the studio's talented staff. They broke the instructions down into bite-sized pieces for us. All we did was follow their step-by-step instruction on what to do to create our unique works of art. They were also available to all of us to help when we got stuck, had questions, or needed some extra talent. The staff also made the kiln-carving process easier for us by taking care of all the kiln work. All we did was select our materials and create our designs. They sent it through the kiln for the two-part fusion so we didn't need to come back after the first fire. Don't know where to start? I have to admit, it took me about two hours to finish my headband because I couldn't decide on the charms! There were just so many cute options, and I wanted to make sure everything was perfect (haha). I especially loved that I could decorate both sides of the headband, allowing me to create two different themes.
