    Website clearly says 7-10 days.
    George P.

I would give this place a much higher rating but I was disappointed in the turn around time. The flyer and website both say 7-10 day return time. After painting the piece we were told it would be 20 days for pick up. We went in 16 days before Mother's Day, believing we would have sufficient time, only to be blind sided. They should update their website and the flyer they give you when you arrive. This is bad business! Had I known the turn around time was so long, I would have went to Color Me Mine. Update. The pottery came in 13 days rather than 20. Thank you! My rating is now

Such a fun activity for little ones inside the mall! Very clean and attendants are very friendly and wonderful!

a fun activity to do with the kiddos! If you don't want to paint pottery, they have other craft options.

Great place for an activity with kids. They have a lot of options to choose from. The staff are friendly and helpful. They also have another section of selection like handheld mirrors, pencil cases, etc. where it is just gluing stuff on to decorative if you want to avoid painting. Would definitely comeback.

I was looking for a fun activity near home to do with my friends and I find this place. They had a handmade soap workshop where we made grape soaps, which I thought was so cute and unique. I invited my friends to join, and the whole experience was really fun and enjoyable. The staff were also super polite, friendly, and professional, which made the activity even better. Since it's located inside a shopping mall. It's very convenient as well. I would definitely recommend this place for birthday parties, small gatherings, or and fun groups activity.

This is a cute crafty space. Choose from a variety of pieces to paint. Can't wait to see the end result after it is glazed and put in the kiln. It is very bright and nice music playing in the background. A fun place with friends.

Daughter was obsessed with her art piece. What a fun way to spend the weekend. So many other cute DIYs for kids.

I was really excited to bring my niece here for some arts and crafts but was incredibly disappointed. The selection of accessories for the squishy kitty was very limited. We were hoping for a pink cat bed, which they were out of stock and there were only 2 eye colors (green and blue). The model kitty had pink eyes and a pink bed, which was what we wanted. You first pick your squishy kitty. Either glue some fur on or paint eyeshadow color. You could either pick 2 eyeshadow palettes to use and keep or a multicolor palette, which a few of the colors were completely out. The brushes used to apply the eyeshadow were used and the color transferred onto our kitty. The staff said clean the brush with baby wipes -.- the tin we put the kitty in to paint was also used and had fur in it... The staff was sweet but the quality of supplies and value is trash.

i have always wanted to do something with decoden, so we chose hello pottery for our date night ! there are a good amount of options in terms or charms and cream. i love how the employees are super polite and are welcoming to any questions. one particular employee saw that i wanted to put a picture behind the case and suggested i use resin. she was so thoughtful. thank you !! after paying, they took a picture and sent it to me letting me know that they will send another message when our work is ready. they are so communicative ! i can't wait to pick them up :)

I took my daughter and her friend here for a birthday craft, and we couldn't be happier with the experience! The attendant was very helpful, gave useful tips, and stopped by a few times to check on us. Can't wait for the crafts to dry, and the girls can actually use them!

Had an amazing time here! There are so many different crafty projects to choose from and the staff were so kind and helpful! Would recommend!

Came for a 10th birthday party. All the kids loved it. They had a variety of crafts and were willing to do different ones for the boys (who apparently didn't want to knit a purse). The location was nice. Parents were able to enjoy the mall while the kids kept busy.

My little one has so much fun on paying her own cat. We love this place and will definitely come back

Such a cute place. My kids have so much fun here. Will definitely come back for more activities and have some girls gathering here.

For the latest updates on events, follow their instagram @colormeminecovina! They have so many special events that cater to various interests and groups and ages and truly anyone can enjoy here. I came back for my 5th time on Valentine's Day with my boyfriend and we had the best time. We chose the 6:30p-8:30p slot, and paid $50 for the special event table reservation (included a couples caricature). I know they had a later Valentine's reservation slot from 9-11pm and those couples got a little heart shaped trinket tray as part of their $50 fee. The table reservation cost does NOT include the price of the pottery you choose. They have a wide selection of pottery pieces you can choose from at varying price points so everyone can find something they will love to paint during the time. They had a new astrology jar with a lid that i've never seen before and instantly fell in love. My partner needed a bit more time to choose a piece, and decided on a dragon wrapped around a tower that will include a tea light for later to light up the tower (super cool). The two pieces were less than $100 total ($36 for the jar and $54? for the tower dragon) which is around the price I was expecting to pay. Note that my boyfriend and I showed up at 6:15 to look at the pottery early and we were thankful we did because it gave us extra time to paint without feeling a super tight time crunch. The staff was super sweet and attentive and remembered me from past times I've been there, which makes me feel more comfortable and happy there. They were checking tables frequently and making sure paint was always available and refilled for our use. They also gave us time checks to let us know how much time we had left which was appreciated. It is important to remember that 1 coat will leave a lighter finish while 3 coats will create a more opaque finish. They had a card on the table that said more than 3 coats of paint can warp your piece during the drying process or even cause an explosion due to trapped air between paint layers so do be aware! You also have to leave your pottery for up to a week so it can fully dry and bake in the kiln so the glaze hardens and becomes all shiny and beautiful. I have been happy with every piece I have made at Color Me Mine Covina and I will definitely keep recommending it to those around me because it really is that fun and enjoyable of an experience.

You pick any type of pottery that is pretty much a blank canvas. After that, you select which stencil you would like to put on. Then you paint on it. It's actually pretty relaxing and quite fun to do! Also, I think making a plate is useful since you get to use it daily! Since the night was Hello Kitty it was filled with a large selection of the Sanrio characters plus some of them wearing the Dodger hat. I picked a heart plate to decorate. You can pick whichever colors you want and then make it your own. You won't get the plate right away it will take a little while but I can't wait to see how it turns out!

Our instructor was super informative and made sure to spend time with everyone in the class, walking us through every step of the process. I love Color Me Mine, and this location is one of my favorites to go to! It does get really busy,…read moreso a reservation (or at least calling ahead to see if they can hold seats on the day of) is pretty much a must. The Brea location has more seating than other locations I've been to, which makes it a bit more forgiving if you try to do a walk-in. Reservations are made online and cost $5/person, which goes towards your total. From a large palette, you choose five colors. Sometimes if a friend and I want to use the same color, we'll just put it on one person's plate, which ends up giving us more color options overall! There's also a guide on each table with tips for different ceramic painting techniques. There's a cup of various styles and sizes of paintbrushes, and you can also request for a thin bottle for writing or detail-work. You get two hours to paint, but I've never felt rushed with either picking my piece or during the actual painting process. The staff here are always so attentive, courteous, and helpful, which makes the whole experience even better. I've noticed that when it gets super busy and you need a paint refill and someone hasn't come by, don't be afraid to raise your hand or walk over to someone, everyone is super friendly. They have a great selection of pottery, and you just pay the price of your piece plus the flat studio fee. The space is clean, and I love that they also offer outdoor seating. Since it's right in the middle of downtown Brea, it's fun to people watch and enjoy the vibe outside on a warm day. They'll occasionally have special events or deals too, like student nights with a discounted studio fee. With its central location in downtown Brea, it's such a perfect spot to catch up with friends, celebrate a birthday, or have a cute date!
