I loved this place! My daughter and I went to a similar place but I like this one much better. They have much more variety. Given there's no food here but the second floor of the mall has a great selection of quick food. My daughter made a water bottle with icing and some charms and I made a bear. I just didn't know that mine would take a week to dry I was joking about it but it was actually true. The girls who work here were very nice. I would give this place a much higher rating but I was disappointed in the turn around time. The flyer and website both say 7-10 day return time. After painting the piece we were told it would be 20 days for pick up. We went in 16 days before Mother's Day, believing we would have sufficient time, only to be blind sided. We were hoping for a pink cat bed, which they were out of stock and there were only 2 eye colors (green and blue). The model kitty had pink eyes and a pink bed, which was what we wanted. You first pick your squishy kitty. Either glue some fur on or paint eyeshadow color. You could either pick 2 eyeshadow palettes to use and keep or a multicolor palette, which a few of the colors were completely out. The brushes used to apply the eyeshadow were used and the color transferred onto our kitty. The staff said clean the brush with baby wipes -.- the tin we put the kitty in to paint was also used and had fur in it... Fun and friendly!! Lots of items to choose from, and not just cream glue. There are lots of different glue types as well. _____ Longer review: - Getting there was a bit of a struggle. The studio is located inside a suite in a building, but there are no signs on the door to show exactly where the suite is. The doorman also didn't know, as it was his first day. When you enter the building, you will see a large waiting area primarily used by a test prep facility. Facing forward, in the right corner, you will see a little toy sculpture outside of a door. Head that way and the suite is on the left of that alley. - The actual suite itself is pretty small, so it makes for an intimate experience! We were the only party here, so it was okay. - There are a lot of items to choose from, as well as crafts to choose from. I chose the pencil case. They have three colors: gray, blue, and pink. - I could choose 15 charms. They have their charms in an organizer (as opposed to all open), so you do have to sift through them a bit ruggedly. I would've preferred if there were a lot of charms of different sizes, but they have more unique or silly charms like minion charms or charms that say "angle" on them. - My sister chose the stain glass, so she just had to pick colors and shapes. There is an option to add glue to your stain glass coaster, or to just leave it as tiles. - For the actual cream glue, I could choose 2 colors. I went with the transparent blue jelly which has some sparkle flakes. I like the transparent aspect, but not sure I liked the flakes. For my second color, I went with pearl white. I always recommend a pearl color because the consistency is much easier to work with. They reuse glue bags here, so I had to ask for a second blue glue bag, which was also 70% used. - At the table, the worker offered some more smaller charms and flakes to add, which I think really sealed the deal! It just added another dimension to my end result, so don't skip out on this. There is a studio fee which they state on their website, even for those who just sit in the studio and don't make anything. They also have some free beverages like waters and cokes.
