Nothing was bad but nothing was great either. The food was good but nothing special, pretty standard pub food. Beer list was large but not particularly impressive, nothing that I couldn't get at the supermarket. The space looked pretty cool but the booths are not very comfortable and seemed somewhat hastily put together. We used to go here regularly, twice a week, because we liked the food and atmosphere. After a several-month hiatus, we went back today. We were incredibly disappointed. First, they were out of the item I wanted-- OK, that's not the end of the world. I found something else, but asked if I could swap the side (cauliflower cous-cous) for fries. (Let me add how much I LOATHE cauliflower!) They had typically done this before with no problem. Instead, the waitress told me that there might be a small upcharge for the fries. That seemed odd, but I shrugged, because I LOATHE CAULIFLOWER. I figured that a dollar was a small price to pay to keep cauliflower from my presence. There were a few problems when I got my order. The salmon was raw in the middle, but like most people, I didn't want to complain, so I convinced myself to pretend that I was eating sushi. But the big surprise was the check. I was charged not one, not two, but an extra $5 for a "side of fries", while still paying for the Loathed Cauliflower Cous-cous that I did not want nor did I receive. And, to add insult to injury, I was charged an extra 50c for a side of mayo, requested for the Luxury Fries that didn't even come with ketchup. (I suppose that I could have asked for ketchup, but they probably would have charged me for that, too.) It's fairly certain that we won't be returning here. I have always had great experiences when dining in the restaurant or picking up takeout. They have a drive thru for takeout which is very convenient. All of the menu items I have tried were excellent and reasonably priced in my opinion. I will definitely be back. read more

The Craft'd signature salad is to die for! Add the salmon and it is like eating candy without all the calories. Very nice bartenders, been there twice already and wanting to go back soon. I have been here several times and want to love this place but they need improvement in areas. Tonight I dined in with family and it seemed like the dinner rush was just starting up. It took ten minutes for someone to greet us after being seated and another ten to get two glasses of water. Understandable considering it was busier. When our order came out the food looked great but our server never checked back in until we were practically done with our meal and we needed a few additional items, extra sauces etc. I had to flag down another server who said they would go find our server. Additionally, when first taking our order our server seemed irritated to be waiting on us and had a slight attitude. (I brushed it off at first but when my family member spoke up about how rudely we were spoken to it prompted this review). The next time we spoke with our server was near the end of our meal and she dropped off our bill. The food was overall good and it's a beautiful place but the service was disappointing. read more

Super disappointed, ordered the peanut butter& pig to go at a friends recommendation. A co-worker picked it up and when I opened the container I found a gross greasy mess. Even though I was hungry, I took a couple bites and left the rest for the trash. It was two obviously pre-made frozen/thawed burgers on a soggy bun. The "crunchy" peanut butter was soggy. The bacon and peanut butter may have been a good idea on a hand made burger but these burger patties were just sad. Fries would have been good if I ate them there while they were hot. For $12 plus tax I may as well have gone to a fast food burger place at least then I would get what I paid for. I would have gone in for a refund But was too busy at work. What a waste. I work nights and was looking for a new dinner option, but it's not here. read more

Great food. Craft beer list is the usual craft beer list you see at all Chicagoland restaurants, but still lots of choices.

Service was terrible. Had to get our own drinks at bar. Server never came to table. We left after 25 minutes of waiting.

This is easily my favorite bar/restaurant in the area. The food is amazing and their beer selection is every beer drinkers dream! I haven't had too many of their craft cocktails, but the ones I have sampled are excellent. They have great beer specials on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Check them out on Tuesdays for some awesome tacos! They have a large dog friendly patio with TVs everywhere so it's a great place to watch sports and relax with your pup. But the best part of this place is the service! Every single employee I've encountered has been beyond wonderful. If you are looking for a chill dining and/or drinking experience with absolutely no riffraff, I highly recommend you check them out if you're in the area! read more

The bacon cheeseburger was juicy and delicious, the fries were well seasoned , and the buffalo Mac n cheese with pulled pork was equally as amazing along with the unique Chicago beef rolls, the only negative was the wait time, apparently the kitchen was backed up I assume this was thanks to staffing issues(I have an outside source,lots of people quit). I will not let this one experience ruin it for me though, the food was amazing and while it did take forever to get anyone to serve us, the food came out quick and was very delicious so after the initial wait it was a good experience. Ordered the no brainer family pack. Everything was burnt to a crisp absolutely the worst food I have ever ate in Plainfield all for 55.00 plus tip what a rip off. Nice place but a way over-priced burger and fries at $12.50. Two quarter-pound patties that look like they were pressed out of a machine. The potato bun could not stand up to the burgers plus cheese, lettuce, tomato, and onions; what a mess. I love tater tots so no complaint there. Craft'd is a great not so little place. We were pleasantly surprised by this place after hearing about it and were a little skeptical. Atmosphere is on trend, industrial, reclaimed woods meets urban bar. The bike on the wall is a great touch. Service is great, friendly welcome and a happy staff you could tell enjoyed being there. Now most importantly the food was on point! The Chicago beef rolls were fantastic, crispy wonton wrapper and tender flavorful beef on the inside with a gardenia ranch perfect for dipping. We also had the Cluck Yeah chicken sandwich. Nicely fried and the sauce has some kick which is complimented by a sweet honey drizzle. The Peanut Butter & Pig burger is fanatic, two stacked patties full of flavor topped with peanut butter and candied bacon! Life doesn't get much better than this. The only thing I'd ask is for them is to not skimp on the peanut butter next time, smear that entire bun with the good stuff! All-in-all Craft'd is a great place and happy to have them in the area to break up the crappy chain restaurant scene in the suburbs.
