If you're looking for a bar with "Crafted Cocktails" this is the place to come. If you're looking for beer I'd go next-door. They only had 2 beers on tap but a massive assortment of cocktails. I had a beer but my friend ordered several different cocktails and was very impressed with the variety, pour and taste. As they are crafted cocktails it does tend to take a while to make each drink so you can't be in a hurry here. The place does have a small hidden bar atmosphere and great ambience. Its a single door and early missed. If you're looking for a cocktail I'd suggest stopping by. read more

This is such a hidden gem of a cocktail bar, I almost missed it! I was intrigued to see this place after I saw the pictures and read all the reviews on Yelp, and I have to say that this place did not disappoint! I was extremely impressed with the ambience as soon as I walked inside. This cocktail bar is easily something that you could see in New York City with equally delicious and unique drinks that are so inexpensive!! The bartenders were extremely pleasant and easy to talk to, they gave you a huge list of drinks based on movie themes that they've come up with themselves. The decor inside of the bar is pretty cool too. There is wallpaper on one wall and there are old photos that line the walls, even the ceiling was fantastic. I had the 'illegal smoked plum cocktail' and my friend ordered the 'smoked anejo margarita'. Both of these were equally delicious!! Highly recommend the margarita for those of you who like tequila with a hint of lime, and for those of you who are like me and like a more subtle flavour, the smoked plum cocktail is perfect! While we were there the bartender also made an incredible tower of glasses with a shot glass on top for someone's birthday- he lit the glasses on fire and then poured the cocktail on top so it trickled down the glasses putting out the flames and collecting in a cocktail glass at the bottom. I've never seen anything like this before, it was amazing! I'm excited to go back and try even more delicious cocktails from the menu! Crafted cocktail is a fun place to take out of towners to for the first time they visit Wadsworth and show them a good time. The new location is much larger than the prior spot but some of the charm was lost in the move. They have also had a hard time replicating some of the beverages that were mainstays in the prior location but their bourbon collection is still stellar. read more

Ok.... so came here for a first blind date meeting joint.... super dark.... which was fine with me as you can focus more on personality than looks.... sounds silly but I liked that aspect of it. Drinks were good. But they do not have beer. Also, most of the drinks are a little eccentric meaning you won't just get a rum and coke or jack Daniels. It was nice and the bar tender was excellent. We came here for a friend's birthday party, and I have to admit, pulling up, my heart sank. Smushed in a sliver of an old strip mall next to Discount Drug Mart, I started questioning whether this was going to be a disaster, but as soon as we walked in, we were welcomed by a warm and inviting atmosphere, and a beautiful curving wooden bar. We sidled up to the bar and were delighted by the list of innovative cocktails. Unfortunately, I could not partake, as I am pregnant, but the bar tender speedily whipped me up a festive mocktail complete with a Luxardo cherry garnish! My husband ordered a smoked drink, and watching the bartender prepare the drink was like watching a science experiment (see pics). Another friend ordered a drink that came out bubbling with vapor from dry ice. It may sound a bit theatric, but according to my foodie friends, the taste delivered. Plus, at the end of the night, the entire bill for our 10-person party was only $107 (including happy hour discounts - on a Saturday)!!! I'm a local and so having Crafted Cocktail for its uniqueness in our area is really great. The atmosphere is cozy, dark and pretty inviting. You could get lost in the cocktail menu with all the cool choices and watching the bartenders make the drinks is definitely part of the total experience. That said, the (head?) male bartender gave off a really unwelcoming vibe to our group despite the best attempts of his female coworkers to be friendly with a sense of humor. I guess he pegged us as a "lite beer crowd" and didn't need our repeat visit. Wish them every success, regardless. read more

I have a hard time just leaving 3 stars for this place because it really could be an extraordinary place. From the outside, you would never guess how impressive the interior is. It is beautifully decorated in a prohibition-style theme. It's low-lit and incredibly charming. I loved everything about the atmosphere. The service is also really fantastic. You're greeted at the door and helped with seating and then waited on (unless you sit at the bar). There isn't any food or appetizers, but you're given a Chex mix to munch on. The menu of specialized drinks is a pretty good size. The skill involved for some of the drinks I would think requires above average bar skills. Where my experience fell short was the actual drinks. They were properly executed, but I just didn't care for them. Flipping through the drink menu, nothing really sounded good at all and it was super disappointing. My husband got the Butterbeer special drink to start. It's tipped with a toasted marshmallow and is so sweet and difficult to drink. It was just too much. I got the nosiest pepper which just wasn't great. The heat from the drink was good, but it just wasn't anything I'd ever order again. I also got the illegal smoked plum. I enjoyed it more than my first drink, but again, it was just okay. My husband also got another drink- it was a punch type drink (I couldn't find it on the menu). He didn't care for that one that much either. I tasted it and it tasted like celery to me. Haha ‍ Gosh I would have loved to have loved this place. I don't feel like I am a picky drinker/eater at all. I just wasn't excited about any of their specialty drinks. Which that's what I would have assumed this place would have excelled in. No more - after seeing Crafted Cocktail Co. in my Yelp feed for a handful of months, I gave it a try last weekend. Why did I wait? Once you get past the location, it's like stepping into an intimate speakeasy in a side alley in Chicago. Drinks are phenomenal, by bartenders who obviously know what they are doing.
