Went here for dinner, and the food was quite unpleasant. Ordered cheese and bbq sauce fry app and they were so hot that they practically fused with the paper on the tray. Also ordered the pulled pork tacos and the mac and pulled pork sandwich. Pulled pork must've been a fews day old, with zero flavor and left the feeling it was warmed in a microwave. Will say fries and beers were decent, but it's hard to mess that up. It felt like the AC was turned off and had to waive down our waitress anytime we needed anything. I used to love this place. The past two times my boyfriend and i have come in we would sit ourselves and waited over 5 minutes and never got greeted. We never got acknowledged by anyone. The first time the staff was just sitting around coloring and playing on their phone at the bar. The second time was today. It didn't seem that busy but they did have a crowd. Came here with family during brunch time, on a Sunday during football season. We were served right away. We got a table with no wait and there were plenty of tv's with the game on. We ordered a carafe of mimosa, which was good and a decent price. I ordered the chicken club and she also accommodated the switch from mayo to honey mustard with a side of potato salad. My boyfriend ordered the burger and pulled pork mac n cheese. The sandwich had a big piece of grilled chicken and the bacon was a good slice but the potato salad was too creamy for my liking. My boyfriend came here the other weekend to celebrate my 21st birthday and we will never be back. The service was awful we did not get greeted for 15 minutes and right before we walked out we got greeted so we stayed. Our waiter barely checked on us and he just paced the entire restaurant and then he would go in the back and hit his vape then just walk around the restaurant again trying to look busy. We asked for our check and it took 30 minutes to get it. He had no other tables besides us. I am a waitress and bartender myself so I try to be really patient and understanding but this guy sucked. Came here with my husband for lunch. Wasn't packed but service super slow. There were flies everywhere we had to move tables. Food mediocre at best. This place is amazing!!! Their service was flawless, Hayley was on top of everything. We started with their Grilled Shrimp & Avocado Crostini's, chef Mark explained all the ingredients and even brought us a small sample of their ahi tuna which was unlike anything I've ever put in my mouth before. We had the HAWAIIAN SMOKED BRISKET (2) Sliced smoked brisket, BBQ sauce, & pineapple pico de gallo and SMOKED BRISKET GRILLED CHEESE Sliced brisket, red onion, pickles & American cheese on sourdough bread. I met up with some friends for lunch at CRAFThouse last week. While the service provided by our waitress was spectacular, the food wasn't quite up to par. CRAFThouse prides itself on an extensive beer selection, and on its variety of smoked meats. I wasn't in the mood for a beer that day, so I chose their Jalapeño Margarita instead. It packed quite the punch--as if it had been topped with a floater--but the jalapeño flavoring wasn't all that impressive. For the meal, the pulled pork mac-n-cheese sandwich caught my eye. Our waitress said it was an excellent choice. Cueing off that, I ordered a side of the pulled pork mac-n-cheese. After all, one can never have enough mac-n-cheese or pulled pork, can they? What a mistake in reality! The pulled pork was completely lost in the mac-n-cheese. In turn, the mac-n-cheese was very bland and nearly devoid of any perceptible cheesiness. Great carb load between the bread and the macaroni, but, for the price, I expected more flavor--and more meat. The most awesome feature of our little get-together was our waitress Journey. She was truly incredible. We were seating a party of 8 plus an infant. Unlike the apathetic first waitress I encountered upon entering, Journey dropped what she was doing to help me pull together 3 four-tops so my friend wouldn't have to deal with her baby at barstool height. She was attentive, understanding, and incredibly patient throughout the entire meal, and made sure all of our needs were attended. The one thing that impressed me most about her waitressing skills was that when you spoke to her, she gave you her undivided attention, and confirmed what you wanted. My bestfriend and I were in San Marcos for the weekend and we decided to go to the square! It caught our attention because of the live music playing, and decided to come in and eat. The music was very loud, so if you don't like loud music this is not your best option. I had to yell to my friend that was across from me. The environment was definitely for a Saturday night. The staff was very attentive, and they helped us with the menu. There were lots of people there in their early 20s drinking and having a good time. I recommend this place if you are trying to have a good time, and not go to a club. The food was pretty good. My friend got the chicken waffle and I got the Mac and cheese with a sandwich. Where do I even begin? So me and my boyfriend came down to visit some friends. I saw this place had daiquiris so I wanted to go. Everything was good at first, we sat (came in with masks) , ordered all was well. Then we get our wings and this is what was given to us. We respectfully sent them back because who's about to eat bloody chicken? The waitress was really cool and apologetic about it and said she would bring us some more wings and they would be on the house. Mind you we were not going to get anymore wings if she hadn't said that. So the new wings come out all is well. We get the tab and the wings were on there after she said they'd be on the house. One of my friends spoke to the waitress and she said that it being on the house is not what she meant. At that point she spoke to the manager and they took it off. So after that mini fiasco I go to use the bathroom. I completely forgot my mask and while walking back to my table was told by our waitress when I leave the table to have a mask on. I said okay cool my bad and walked to the table. Then some random worker comes to the table to basically say the same thing except she was really rude about it. I don't understand the point of her coming up to me, if my waitress already did and I complied. My friend did not like that she had done that so went to make a complaint with the manager. This "manager" was rude as hell and told us to get the f**k out. Then this other male worker proceeded to come to our table like he wanted to fight. The whole situation was so uncalled for all because this establishment is racist and got mad that a group of minorities didn't want to pay for raw chicken. The dude who was trying to fight obviously worked there and I'm over here having to pull two grown men out of the restaurant because he's trying to fight them. Never again in my life, and also go to their Facebook page and you'll see how they haven't had any reviews in the last 3 months but when I post mine. Heard about this place from an uber driver and decided to try it. The atmosphere is good and friendly very local. It's a nice place to hang out with friends. Drinks: Drinks special are going on all day long. $1.50 Lone Star beer and $2.50 screwdrivers. The drinks were ok I felt like I was just drinking a frozen orange juice. Food: I orders the " El Caliente " burger which had three flames. When I asked the waitress if it was very spicy since the ingredients included jalapeños and ghost pepper cheese. The waitress let me know that the burger was not spicy because they don't really use ghost pepper cheese they use pepper jack cheese! The burger had a good flavor just missing the spiciness. So, first I'll start this off by saying our bartender rocked. Tuesday evening, POS1. Time of check, 2104, 7/3/18 check number 177. She was quick, informed, friendly, and went out of her way to try to help us, while being busy with tequila shot specials. So to the management there, kudos for hiring a great bartender. Me and my wife also ordered food. Yeah... I'm in my late 30's, and have had meat that I really think was either dog or cat, and this burger I ordered was by far the worst damn thing I have ever had. I ordered the smoked gouda bacon burger. Burger came out, and the top bun was burnt, no big deal, I know it can happen. So I cut it, or at least tried too. The knife wouldn't cut through the bottom bun. I had to pick it up, and SNAP it in half!! The meat was obliterated. I mean, you already had to kill the cow, did you have to murder the meat a 2nd time. I couldn't even taste the cheese over all the burnt bread and meat, and the only reason I ordered a $13 burger was for the cheese. My wife ordered the chili frito burrito, and she loved it. No I didn't complain, don't like too, but the bartender saw my burger, and felt bad, so she bought me a drink to apologize, which is the only reason for the additional 2 stars. Hey you manager, she literally is the only reason! Otherwise, it would be a 1 star review. Hire a new line cook, and a new expo please! Someone let that thing walk out of the kitchen. read more
