I've been here a couple times and it has been really good everytime. My husband gets the pimento burger and says it's amazing. I've got chicken tenders and a BLT. Both great but the BLT was probably one of the best I've ever had. Plenty of bacon, fresh tomatoes, and toasted bread. It was so big, I could only eat half. First time eating at any of the Crafty burger. I always say...if the restaurant is dead, the food will blow ass. Happens every time. I get the burger with bacon jam. After all there's the thumbs up next to it. My wife gets the same. I ask for mine to be medium. Thirty minutes goes by. We ask to just get it to go. We get to the house. My burger had zero bacon jam. Now how do you miss that? The burger is well done, lifeless, bland. It reminded me of the frozen pre shaped burgers in the frozen section at the Wal Marts. Before we stopped at the restaurant, I told my wife, there's a Wendys in the same parking lot. If Craft can't make a better burger then we will never go there again. Wendys blows away this place. Not recommended. No milk or juice products for kids...just soda or water. Our app never came out and my order came wrong. No onion straws or beer cheese, which are both up charged items. They had to bring them separately after asked for. My grandmother ordered Mac and cheese and she covered it in salt so it "could at least have some flavor." Also. I had the good egg burger. It was fantastic. The mac'n'cheese is made with beer cheese, which is great if you like beer cheese. Onion rings were more like crispy onion strings, and I'll definitely get the fries next time. Wife had a chicken sandwich, and the chicken alone was so good. BEWARE. BEWARE BEWARE KRAFTY BURGER....HUMM I called in an order at the Kenton Cornelius location. I order just 1order of the breaded cheese stick appetizer. the cost was 8.67. I was going to pay cash but the not so friendly bartender push the debit reader at me. I SEEN WHERE IT HAD OPTIONS FOR A TIP BUT I DID NOT SELECT AN OPTION. I BELIEVE THE OPTIONS WERE 15, 20 or 25%. She told me to just follow the screen instructions and she walked away. I was not planning on tipping. So I just press continue. When She came back I asked if I could have an additional sauce. She took the reader fumbled with it then she printed out my receipt. It totaled $13.96. I asked, just to make sure of price and she said it was $8.67. I then asked where the rest of the cost came from. She did not answer. I said is that a tip on there? She took the reader and walked off. I was going to let her by with it but wrong is wrong. Even though it was only a $2.33 difference. I was not going to tip that much for an $8 + order and especially to an very unfriednly waitress. I asked to speak to the manager. He came out and said is this about the added tip. He said I will take it off. I said please do. My opinion is that she (the waitress is the one that selected the 20% tip and thought that I would not catch it. If this is the case then my opinion is she and the manager have done the to unknowingly customers. It is very deceiving and I feel it is stealing to do this. I probably would not have noticed if my bill was $20 or more but to pay 2.33 for a 8 dollar order I thought was odd. I will never go there again and I work for a very large company near by that I will tell those that order OR eat there to BEWARE OF THE FORCED TIPPING. HOW DISHONEST. The bar crowd at 8:30pm on a Tuesday, which consisted almost completely of the wait staff and their children (!) were very loud. The drinks they were pouring were quite stiff. They were so loud that I couldn't hear the conversation at my own table. The food was pretty good. This restaurant could use some better management. read more

This is my birthday week. I go to different burger places; to see who has the best. Someone suggested Crafty burgers. Yesterday to start my week. My wife and I arrived at the Denver store about 2:30. Our waitress Anna were very attentive to us. We started with fried mushrooms. Loved them! Wife got Aloha Burger with hand battered onion rings and pasta salad. I got the Cinco Burger with fries and onion rings. The onion rings was like shoe strings rings. They were not good. A name like Crafty Burgers! You would think the burgers would be homemade!!! We could not eat the burger because the buns felled apart. The burger patty look like the cheapest patty you buy from Walmart. What little we ate... was the nastiest I ever tasted. Maybe we order the wrong burgers or came on the wrong day. I give everyone a second chance. Now there is only one way to go from here and that is up! We moved to Denver, North Carolina from California 3 months ago and this was our first time coming here. It was excellent! Our servers were friendly and attentive. I ordered the good egg burger- soooo delish!! Juicy meat, cheese, bacon, and egg PERFECTION. The egg was cooked just right, it was slightly oozy and not dripping all over the place, which I appreciated! I ordered french fries and sweet potato fries, SO yummy, (couldn't stop eating the sweet potato fries!) My husband had the crafty melt with onion straws and the seasonal salad ( couscous and cucumbers , dill pickles, and ? ) he said was the bomb diggity! We live 5 minutes away from this location, so we're excited to have a great spot to be our new go - to burger restaurant! read more

Big disappointment in the newest addition to Denver and the restaurant scene. Our family ducked in Monday evening and had sub-par service in a crammed space while we ate okay burgers.... Don't get me wrong better than most fast food joints; however Five Guys, Smash Burger and even Joey's restaurant up the road have nothing to worry about. Very nicely appointed but very small indoor space. When we were there the inside was full and the outside had several customers also. The servers had problems navigating the dining floor due to the close proximity of the tables. Definitely 2 servers with food can not pass. This is an upscale burger joint so why does it take so long to get your food? I ordered a burger, well done, onion rings and bread pudding. The temperature of the food was more warm than hot and the burger was not well done it was just a tad over medium. The taste was good but not overwhelming. The wife had the beans, very good, fries and chicken strips. She was quite happy with her meal but she did mention the wait from order to served. Our server was pleasant and did check on us. We've been waiting for our local Crafty Burg'r to open, and it was worth the wait! We tried it today for the first time, and it will become a regular stop for us. We all loved the fried mushrooms (served with a great horseradish sauce), the onion rings (more like onion straws), and the Crafty Beans (a mix of several beans with bacon, hamburger, and spices). The burgers are fabulous! Burgers were cooked exactly as ordered, and the toppings were fresh. Service was great. The owner stopped by to welcome us and chat. Tried for the first time tonight. Sat immediately, waitress was attentive, friendly & quick. Place is small and filled up super fast, there was a bit of a long wait when we were leaving. Burgers -Pimento Cheese one was fantastic, meat had a great taste and was cooked perfectly, pimento cheese was awesome. Tried Mac & Cheese and Fries for sides. The Mac is CHEESEY, my goodness! Fries are ok, nothing special. The kicker was the mayo for me, it's that delicious "grill" mayo like old school Wendy's used to have. I'm in love! Was out shopping with the wife and daughter and our daughter wanted to treat us to lunch and we stopped here as she is a Crafty Burg'r fan. Me not so much (see previous review) but she was treating us so it was her choice. I got the Buffalo chicken salad, daughter the cob salad and the wife got the triple grilled cheese with fries and apple cole slaw. You would think for $9 salads you would at least get some croutons in the salad or some captains wafers or saltine crackers to go with it, but no. Food was good its just very pricey. For the 3 of us with just 1 tea and 2 waters, tax and tip it cost our daughter almost $39, which my wife and I thought was waaaay to much just for lunch. If my wife and daughter had gotten tea to drink instead of water, it would have pushed the bill to just over $44!! WOW! $44 for 2 salads, a grilled cheese and sides and three teas! Service was just ok with our server being very attentive at first but less attentive as the meal went on cause she was too busy flirting with the tables that had all guys. When it came time to pay she brought my daughter the wrong ticket and it took her several minutes to bring the correct ticket back. For these prices Crafty Burg'r needs to stand out among the rest in both food and service and like I said while the food was good, neither the food or the service was no where near good enough to make my wife and I want to come back again and pay these prices. Overall we had lunch with our daughter and some quality family time and that's what mattered, but as I said in my last review, the only time you will see me back in here again is if some one else is pickin' up the tab! read more

I really liked this place before last night. Our waitress could not get anything right. I ordered a Myers Run & Mr Pib in a tall glass, she brings me a Mr Pib with NO rum. When she came back I told her about the problem. She returns with a rum & tonic water. I ordered my burger, no bun, mayo on the side, no Gouda cheese but I did want provolone cheese. Burger comes out no provolone cheese no mayo on the side. When she comes back I told her about this problem, she comes back with cold cheese to go on my now cold burger.
