The shrimp was amazing!! I had the headless shrimp in the buttery garlic mild and the hubby had crawfish w/shrimp spicy. It was delicious!! Our server - Daja was great. I loved this place. I am writing this review to better the chain so that they can fix this in the near future. We ordered food at 15:23 (raw oysters, shrimp, mussels and clams). and got HALF of our food at 16:21. We got our oysters at 16:30 and they were not worth stomaching. They didn't seem fresh imo. The waitress may have had a bad day and I will not put blame on her. She was so overwhelmed that she asked if we got food/drinks that weren't ordered at all. She explained that the kitchen staff was not professional and were arguing. There was a large party being host and prepared next to us and MAYBE that was on the kitchens staffs focalization. Our waitress was very nice and was attentive but honestly, with ANY restaurant, that was uncalled for to get food that late. First off let me say the food was quite good, if a bit high priced. The issue is the service, the waitstaff are very untrained and the service was horrible. The food came out in spurts, the appetizer and the sides all together and then the actual food 10 minutes later. We had ordered the calamari as a starter, it came with no lemon or any sauce for dipping, when we asked for lemon it came after the main course. I had to stop a waitress, not ours, to ask for silverware. We were never asked if we wanted refills on our drinks and the lady at the next table actually stopped a server to ask if someone was going to take their order since they had been sitting there for 10 minutes. We did get one thing with no problem and that was the check. Sadly we won't be going again, the management should send someone to eat there and see all the issues they have. read more

I have to agree with the majority of the reviews so far, the customer service is not the best. I've dined in only once but ordered to go a few times. My dine in experience was good; no complaints. The to-go experiences are hit or miss. When calling, you may be on hold for 10 minutes and then hung up on. When picking up, there will be 4 people at the register but all 4 will ignore you until you force them to assist you. There were definitely eye rolls and chatter under the masks but hey, you have to be assertive with the crew unfortunately. Now the food is always great. I've ordered the crawfish (very tasty and a nice size), boiled shrimp (buttery garlic is my fave), fried fish, snow crab and wings. My visit to this establishment was my first and last. I was disappointed with food itself as well as the customer service and management. I ordered two lobster specials, one was for a friend whom I was delivering it to. My friend checked one of the bags at the counter and it had a lobster tail in it but when we got home the second bag did not. The shrimps were overcooked and stuck to the shells, the sausage was over cooked and unsatisfying only quality taste, the corns were soggy and not good. I called as soon as I looked in the bags when I got home to inform them of my missing lobster tail, at the time I had not tasted the food yet, the manager was so rude. It was a few months ago, I honestly cannot remember his name or else I would name him but he was a younger to middle aged gentlemen who claimed he was the manager at the time. He told me that the kitchen said they put a lobster in both of my bags, so they are in there. I responded that they were not and he said he did not know what to tell me, he then proceeded to say I should have checked my bags better before I left the establishment because if his cooks said they put it in there, then they did. I asked him why would I call and lie about not receiving something I spent a good amount of money on, he told me he was not calling me a liar but my lobster was in my bag. It was a horrible food experience and a horrible customer service experience, that "manager" should have been trained or knowledgeable on how to speak to customers and handle those type of situations. I would not recommend this establishments location on 1960 & 45 to anyone, it was complete disappointment honestly. Also, every person whom I spoke to that ate there after I had been had the same experience with not being satisfied on the quality of the food. Seems to be just a bad business to me. After a long day of car buying, my friends and I just wanted to have a nice seafood dinner. We arrived here at 9:22PM on Saturday, 1/28. We were promptly seated, and felt good because the restaurant was not busy for a Saturday. Read on to find out why that was likely the case. However, by 9:35PM no one had even bother to take our drink orders. In fact, I had to get up to go and ask for assistance, and the young lady had to leave the hostess stand to do so. Reason being, Daniel, our server was too busy laughing with his friends who were there eating. Finally, he comes over and takes our order. Gets it wrong, and when asked for things he never brought them. Never refilled our drinks. Never brought requested items likes sauce. Yet, continuously went back to his friends' table and laughed and drank with them. Mind you, these people were less than 5 feet away from us, so I'm hearing and seeing him behave this way. We spent nearly $150 only to be spoken too twice by our server whom we witnessed laugh and talk with his friends all night instead of even refilling our glasses. My server was Ms. Kanita, she was so genuine to herself I believe, staying true to her character. I ordered a daiquiri but later found out that they do not serve frozen drinks which is why I guess my drink tasted like a heavy strawberry Kool-Aid. Ms. Kanita called the manager I presume to my table and he explained the brief history of serving frozen daiquiris vs non frozen. Long story short, he was not pleased with how the drink situation is marketed. I told him I didn't like it and he handled it professionally and quickly. Ms. Kanita is my kind of waitress, she took my order, checked on me and then allowed me to do my thing (work) while I waited for my meal. My mother and I went to try this new restaurant a few days ago. There was a 15 minute wait, which was very reasonable. However, the waiter did not come introduce himself or greet us until after 20 minutes of being seated. The waiter was very unprofessional and did not seem interested in waiting tables. We noticed that our waiter was standing around talking to the other staff members and not working. After 30 minutes of waiting, a staff member from the kitchen brings our food. At this time we still have no drinks. As we are eating for about 10 minutes, then the waiter comes over with our drinks. The food was not to our expectations, especially since we are seafood lovers. After my mother asked our waiter and the floor manager Jeremi several times for sweet and low, she eventually had to get up from the table and walk to the bar and ask for herself. Based on our observation and experience, the service was horrible, the waiters need more training on basic customer service skills and how to to do their jobs effectively. Not to mention, two tables left without paying due to the lack of attentiveness. Had I not been the one to act with integrity, then I would've did the same. It was literally THAT BAD! I asked the waitress to bring out lemon and lime on the side, as I like to squeeze it all over my seafood. The food was okay, and the reason I'm leaving 2 stars instead of 1. I get half way through eating my food and grab the empty container that the limes were in so I could put Tabasco inside. I look inside and the bottom is covered with green slimy looking stuff!!!!! I instantly lost my appetite!! I called the waitress over and ask her what is it. She has no idea but take the container with her to the back. Obviously I'm highly upset. You can hear it in my tone and see it in my face. I just knew she was going to show the manager and would be back. We sat there for 15 minutes because she was so scared to even come back to the table! How?!?! Finally, I asked a worker passing by to call the manager over. The manager came over and I voiced my disgust with him. I ask that he go look at that filthy container for himself. He leaves, comes back and says he was going to get on the dishwasher about it and offered a measly 10% discount, which was $6, $3 off my friends bill and $3 off mine. Sir, you should've comp the entire meal. I squeezed limes directly from that nasty container onto my food.
