Having just closed on our first home, my husband and I have quickly learned that homeownership can quickly turn into feeling like we opened up Pandora's box. Our first morning in our home we noticed a lack of hot water. Utilities were on, everything was fine, but we couldn't get the pilot light of the 5 year old water heater to stay on. We called a nearby company (who will remain nameless here) who sent over a technician, took a peek, got the water working for about 15 minutes at a scalding temperature, and quickly the pilot light went out again. The technician said the gas control valve was bad, was not covered under warranty, would cost us $500 to replace and take about two weeks. What. The. Flip. We called Craig Plumbing after getting a recommendation from family, and he was able to make it out the next day. Craig spoke to my husband, got a run down of what we were told before, and took a look at our water heater to evaluate himself. He put us in contact with Whirlpool to get the replacement piece we needed (under warranty and much much under $500), and is heading back to get us set up once it arrives. In the meantime, we've got hot water and can manage while waiting for the piece to stop the shenanigans. I don't know what the deal was with the first company, but Craig certainly saved the day for us. Without a doubt we will not hesitate to reach out to him again next time something comes up. read more

Craig is EXTREMELY RUDE. Over charges and doesn't really fix anything. Do not use his business. He will overcharge then be extremely rude to you for no reason. I should have known reading the negative reviews. He is especially rude to women. Nothing says don't use my business more than being rude. read more

They have no idea what they are doing. Couldn't or wouldn't fix an old furnace but charged for service anyway. Don't give them your time or money. It took me a few hours to diagnose and repair the furnace myself. It was just a bad sensor. Any expert would have been able to do that in five minutes. What's worse is that after the initial visit they said they would call me back with some options and I never heard anything from them. After a couple weeks I called them again to see what was going on. At this point I already knew what was wrong with my furnace and how to fix it. So I told them and they offered to do the work at an astronomical price. They are a waste of time. read more

We had a water pipe break on Christmas Eve. I called and sent messages to several plumbers. Of course, every place I contacted was closed for the holiday. We were without water for a few days. Luckily, Craig called me early Monday morning and was out to fix the problem within a couple of hours. He was kind, knowledgeable and efficient. Thanks Craig! We have water again. read more

Unfortunately, I was in need of Craig returning to my home to fix a water leak that was not properly fixed the first time. The first time he was incredible, but unfortunately this phone call ruined the entire experience with this company. He was very rude, offended, and condescending. He constantly interrupted me during the phone call. Told me multiple times "You're calling me at almost midnight on a Friday night." He made me feel like a inconvenience and burden, while standing in inches of water in our garage from a job that was never done correctly in the first place. I hate leaving negative reviews on businesses, especially local. I am all for supporting local businesses, but this man showed zero empathy for my situation. If Craig fixes your problem correctly the first time, excellent. But NEVER call him to come back, his arrogance will make your situation worse, and more stressful. read more

Craig of Himself Plumbing Heating & Cooling came out and installed a water pressure regulator on our main water line. He also provided advice on a few other plumbing items. He was able to get out for a quote quickly and came back to do the work two days later. My brother and dad have both used him for work and have been very pleased. I'd highly recommend him. read more

Craigs Pluming did a great job! I needed fast help as I had a bad leak from a cracked toilet. In fact, the leak was worse then anticipated and within a day they were able to come over and switch out the toilet and plumbing. This was a horrible experience. The employees that I interacted with were extremely rude. I had another company at the house working on drywall and they all made a point to mention how rude they were. I wanted to talk about going with a tankless water heater, but I felt so uncomfortable talking to them that I just wanted the whole thing to be over with and ended up with a product I didn't want. I can't comment on the price considering this was my first experience buying a hot water heater. I noticed after they left that there is obvious damage to the door leading to the basement. I feel that any reputable company would acknowledge what happened and would try to make things right. read more

I have not been impressed and won't use them again They were at my house in April because my furnace was acting weird. The tech told me I need my entire furnace and air conditioning re-installed or "your furnace will have to be replaced in a year because it will burn out". His on the spot estimate was $2500. I said I wouldn't commit to that & wanted a detailed estimate. As of 3 months later, no estimate. I also bought a "service plan" that would bring them out in summer and fall to service a/c and heat. I was told 2x they would call me to schedule. Guess what? They never followed up as promised. After the furnace re-install story I decided I don't really want them in my house anyway. I recently called another repair place that a friend recommended for a 2nd opinion on the reinstall because I am not spending $2500 on one person's word. 2nd opinion was eh, the install is ugly, but it's functional, so don't pay for a re-install. What a surprise (sarcasm!) Seems like these guys thought I was an easy mark or they are terribly misinformed. Time will tell if they are right about the furnace "burning out" in a year or not. read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I have never written a review on a company, either good or bad, but my experience with Craig Plumbing was so awful, I feel compelled to share. Almost 4 weeks ago, I tried contacting them to winterize my evaporative cooler. Easy project, no brainer. Craig had recently purchased a company called Infinity Heating which I had been using to service my swamp cooler for years with no problems what so ever. So I assumed that this new company would also give great service. I couldn't have been more wrong. To make a long story short they still have not completed the service. I called multiple times and left messages, but never got a call back. When I finally did get ahold of Craig, he scheduled my appointment, only to cancel the day of. Then he wouldn't return my calls to reschedule. So I kept trying and after a week or so finally got him on the line. He scheduled me on a Monday morning and then never showed up...never texted me, emailed me or called. He just didn't show up. I still haven't heard from him, so here I am, writing this review. Apparently, he has no issues with ignoring customers, putting them off, canceling appointments, etc. Find another company if you need any type of service because this company is the bottom of the barrel. read more

I had an emergency plumbing situation on a Saturday afternoon with a kitchen stinking of sewer gas and a guest coming over in under 2 hours. Most places wouldn't come out until the next day or charged high fees just to arrive. Craig Plumbing returned my call immediately and was at my house within the hour. There were no exorbitant fees for the after-hours service and the problem was taken care of in under an hour. A thorough assessment was done and I was even given tips on how to prevent the problem in future. I will definitely be calling Craig Plumbing for any future plumbing/drain needs and telling all my friends and neighbors to do the same. read more
