Twenty-five years ago, I had major accident and broke my left leg and my doctor recommended me to wear a leg brace in order to not fall and break the bone consistently. My doctor recommended me to Human Design for the leg brace. Ron is very knowledge in his field and always went out of his way to accommodate me. As time went by, my condition got worse due to post polio and my knee cap has worn out due to repeated use. I went to Human Design asking Ron once more for help, and he thankfully recommended me to Dr. Baumgarten who was confident that he could successfully operate on me. Other surgeons said that there was no "cure" for my medical situation (polio). The surgery was so successful that I deem it a miracle. I am now able to walk at home without a leg brace, and do not feel pain in my knee. This really was life changing. I am sincerely thankful to Human Design and their personal staff as well. They advised I could pay all at once or once I got them in 2-3 weeks. I told them I'll just pay for it now. Insoles come in at the end of December, I get fitted and they sent me on my way. I take them to my doctor in January of 2021 and the doctor said they didn't listen to their instructions so I had to go back to get them redone. I get the new pair a few weeks later and again I'm sent on my way. Over a year later I get a statement from them saying I never paid for the insoles. Turns out the lady only did the copay and not the total. Not once when I was there did they say anything. So I paid the invoice on 8/26/22. Fast forward to 1/20/23 (a Friday) I get not one but 2 invoices from them for the same amount for the exact same price as I paid for last August. I call all the numbers on the forms and could not get anyone on the line. I leave voicemails (and have yet to get a response.) Then the next day I got another statement and on Monday (yesterday) I received another one. I'm up to 4 statements for the same thing and no one to speak to. The CHQ billing department number goes straight to VM. Save yourself the headache with this place and go somewhere else!

The doctors are very knowledgeable and care about their patients. The office personnel are experienced and friendly. I have had last minute situations with appointments and prescriptions that have been addressed with care and concern. I appreciate the explanations, as well as follow-up discussions, if needed. They take time to be thoughtful about their answers, when I have them. The office is equipped to handle your eye care needs. I have even ordered the glasses that I wear at this office. They have their own parking lot in front of the office building. I have never had a problem finding a parking spot. I highly recommend the Eye Treatment Center. They are worth a drive!

I flew over 2,500 miles just to see Dr. Powers, after getting glowing reviews from friends and having wonderful phone consultations with her. Everyone from her staff to the hospital staff were outstanding and they all said the same thing "I wouldn't trust anyone else with my surgeries. Dr. Powers is the best!" She truly lived up to those reviews. After my surgery, she personally checked up on me to make sure I was healing well. She even made sure I sent her emails twice a week with photo updates. A few things went awry during my breast implant removal surgery. I knew there was a chance of losing a nipple, and I did. The other nipple ended up crooked and my breast has necrotizing tissue under the skin. I don't like to look in the mirror. She did tattoo me a set of nipples. Dr. Powers offered me a discount on a tummy tuck so I had it done. She sent me to a recovery facility where they encouraged me to walk upright and my wound opened up. Instead of gluing me back shut she allowed it to scar over the open tissue, making a scar so thin that the waistband of my underwear rubs against it and opens a wound which is easily infected. This went on for over a year with bandages and ointment from my PCP. Finally I came up with the idea of wearing maternity underwear and that seems to fix it. The underwear comes up to my bust. I'm going to have to wear the maternity underwear for the rest of my life or get a painful wound.
