It was early evening and there was a crowd but enough room to sit down and enjoy your treat after you order from the kiosk. I had the Dubai chocolate (pistachio sauce, chocolate, kunafa) mini pancakes and added chocolate ice cream and strawberries, because I can. There are lots of ice cream flavors and toppings to customize. Kids and adults alike will enjoy this. The food is delicious as well. The pancakes make a good conduit for the ice cream and toppings. Because I knew another member of our tribe would want to be there, I invited her and her partner as well. All in all, there were going to be seven of us, so my partner and I quickly headed to Babe's to warn them that we were going to have a large group. The young staff was friendly and amiable, allowing us to move furniture in order to accommodate everyone. The banana split is a create-your-own adventure, allowing the customer to choose three flavors of incomparable Chocolate Shoppe ice cream as well as three toppings!! Unfortunately, we were told that they didn't have any bananas for splits. (Cue "Yes, We Have No Bananas.") Birthday Girl was quite disappointed, but what are you going to do? While everyone else was being served, one of the staff realized they had frozen bananas that were supposed to be chocolate-dipped, so I asked if that could be used for the split. We were told yes! I don't remember what flavors the birthday girl chose, but I do remember her big smile when she got her split. When we were all ready to order my mom stepped up and had to ask her if she would sever us ice cream she only took care of my mom and step dad. Then she stopped working and taking orders as soon as her mom came in. Even her mom asked her to finish the customers in line and she ignored the entire line including the order is was in the middle of and told her mom that everyone was order was done. Which was incredibly inconsiderate and wrong. Before the mom left, she told her kid (the worker) that she has 15 mins left and should be working. After the mom left the worker continued to not help any one. Thank goodness for the manager (lady in the red shirt) she actually saw what happened and took over the line. It was our first night of our family vacation and I love coming to Wisconsin because of the people and the customers service but I guess that doesn't count for this restaurant. But the lady in the red shirt deserves a raise and the worker needs it fix her (their) priorities. The ice cream was really good (I would just go to a different location).

Based on the size it's hard to say it's worth the price. If you love chocolate, the S'mores cookie is for you. I thought it was a very good chocolate cookie with marshmallow, but didn't get much of a s'mores taste due to the unnoticeable amount of graham cracker crumble in/on the cookie. After doing a little research, I've learned that sadly, Kringles are not widely spread throughout the U.S. Did you know Kringle is the official state pastry of my home, Wisconsin? It turns out that Racine, WI is actually the epicenter for Kringles. Racine's O&H Danish Bakery opened in 1949 and has been family owned for four generations. The almond kringle is one of their more traditional/basic flavors, but it is still impressively delicious. I was pleased with the amount of filling O&H crams into the pastry. It's got a nutty flavor that is so sweet, it almost seems fruity. Texturally, the filling has a creamy aspect to it, but it's also rather dense. The body of the kringle has hints of butter and like the filling, is thick and dense. Additionally, it has a flaky and pleasantly chewy texture. Lastly, the kringle is topped with a thick layer of icing. Usually O&H is pretty consistent, but as you can see from the pics, some portions of the kringle had a really thin amount of icing compared to others. Regardless, it was still another superb Kringle from O&H. When I was there, several customers were enjoying a large bowl of shaved ice with toppings - that seemed to be popular. There are a few seats to hang around while snacking/eating. There is a large public parking lot just behind the shop up the hill, a conveniently located spot. I picked up a 3-pack of Mochiring doughuts, with the following flavors: mango; churro; brown sugar. The doughnuts were placed in a rectangular box which made it easy to carry home. Because it was hot, I ordered a fruit boba tea- mango with green tea and with mango-flavored popping boba. It was my first time to have the popping boba. The green tea plus the mango, which was recommend by the cashier/front counter attendant was really good. After trying the popping boba, it was fine, but I personally prefer the regular boba (I think it is a personal preference). I'd definitely get the green tea and mango combo again. The doughnuts were light and airy, and I like the fact they are small, sliightly smaller than bite-sized rounds. I'll come back another time to try the famous hot dogs - and I'd come again for the doughnuts, too. I recommend stopping by if you want to try something new.
