On a positive note they had the good ice and Dr Pepper. No fresh brewed tea so another knock. On a positive note they have a beer tap wall. This was so much fun! I was a little sad that their beer wall was broken at the time that I went, but I'd imagine that if it was working that my friends and I would have a blasting drinking their special beers. The axes aren't incredibly sharp so I wouldn't worry about getting hurt, but they're sharp enough to have a good time throwing! The food was also really yummy. Mumbled something about ranch when my wife ordered the fried pickles (took a minute to realize he was telling us they were out of ranch) Pickles weren't fried, but over baked, so soggy and dry with a few crunchy burn spots. A small "lounge type" area towards the back with lounge seating and a few board games you could play. Odd for a Hot Dog place, but okay. You order at the front counter where a menu hangs on the wall. The location is nicely tucked away from the main Concord Mills Mall traffic. Yet, parking is a little tight as there are multiple other restuarants in the same strip. Once you get inside, there is plenty of seating with a little lounge area towards the back. They also offer a variety of alcoholic beverages to try on their self pour tap wall. It is a huge portion and you should plan to eat this right away otherwise the nachos will wilt. I would never order this again for just myself. Two adults could eat this and be full. I would love this in a half size. My husband and I split a toffee cake (which was an unexpected treat). This cake was buttery and moist. No one prepared me for how epic this was. This place has heart. I was moved by the table in memorial of our fallen US Soldiers who have paid the ultimate price for this nation. This place is truly a gem, and wild dogs won't keep me away, but I don't eat beef or pork so I have to deduct half a star because they don't offer turkey or chicken hotdogs. Second time here, I'm not a big meat eater but my niece was craving a hot dog 'no pun intended' and I know various family members have loved their dogs. We decided to dine in on a Saturday evening, not too busy. They have 2-4 person tables along the wall, a long bar with 6 stools and an area with more comfortable lounge chairs and small tables. There is one bathroom for women and one for men. By no means dirty. Just needed to be checked on I.e. the dispenser for sanitizer was full but the one for hand soap was not. The workers were hopping so understandable how some of the tables in the dining room needed to be wiped down but important to note. There's four patio tables large enough to seat six. We opted to sit outside because it was cold to us inside. Nice eating area. I had dessert and my niece had two different dogs, fries and a drink. My dessert was really small but good. I'd like to try something different next time. Service was friendly yet intentional. Here's what I mean. They are hustling to get your food to you. No one was lounging around on their phones or having side conversations with one another. Update: 6/17/23 Before I had a chance to post my review we came back! This time the owner was behind the counter. He actually came outside to invite us in because we were lingering lol! Very friendly and welcoming to every person who came in. I see where everyone gets the hustle from. Tables were actively being cleaned. Personable service. Delicious food! This time I had the nacho fog and added jalapeños. Yum! I had my dog plus some of my husbands cheesy Mac dog. The beef hot dogs are 100 percent beef and you can taste that. I also missed last time that they have a beer wall for self serve beer. Stopped in as 3 top on a Tuesday night. It was quiet when we entered which was deceiving as we ordered and sat the place started to zoom with to-go orders. We dined on wings, trio sliders and crave classic salad with chicken. It was all fresh made to order on steel trays and takeaway containers for any leftovers (we had none). Okay so this place is new so I am going to give them the benefit of the doubt and come back in a few weeks to reassess. For now my opinion is not all that great. Let's start off with what's good: Pulled pork and chicken was flavorful, but the smoke ring wasn't as deep as I like to see it for good bbq. It was hard to choose a rating because I have different opinions about different things. First of all, the staff is friendly, the restaurant is clean, and the karaoke DJ was awesome. (Apparently they have karaoke on Friday nights and it was a nice surprise since it was my daughter's birthday.) My hot dog was delicious and the tater tots are also good. I ordered potato salad but when it didn't come out, I was told that they were out. They were also out of chicken tenders. My daughter got the hot dog kids meal and said it was good. My son ordered the wings without sauce and they were gross. They looked good on the outside but after you took the crispy skin off they were slimy inside and had no taste. He only ate half of one and threw away the rest. He also go Mac and cheese and it was basically like soup. My husband got shredded chicken and brisket with cornbread and tots. The chicken was ok but the brisket was very wet. The cornbread seemed underdone. Overall it was a disappointing meal that cost us over $50.
